One strategy that I found valuable was learning the right way to design your blog. By adding plug-ins that allow your readers share your post to social bookmarking sites, you can get your site marketed by your visitors (for free too). Also, properly designing your blog and adding other elements like RSS help you keep readership and allow your site content to be syndicated, giving you more exposure.

What I’ve also noticed lately is the importance of keeping in touch with your readers with multiple channels. I’ve seen blogs use RSS, Twitter and email marketing combined to launch products, deliver useful content and build relationships. The book explains how to use Twitter and other tools for more successful product/service promotions.

Web 2.0 Stampede Reputation

The Web 2.0 Stampede is a great introduction to using web 2.0 sites as marketing tools. I only wish there were more specific case studies and examples that show how these sites could be used. I still think that this course is great for beginners who are trying to understand the subject and are confused about how to use it.

If you have experience with social marketing already, you will probably find the book on the average side but still pick up some nuggets of gold. The book is a bit old and needs to be updated with a new list of web 2.0 sites and also some new strategies on how to use them. Some of the sites he mentions are no longer active, but this is in the minority. Aside from that, it’s a great read and a worthwhile investment for those who got in late in the whole web 2.0 phenomenon.

My Personal favorite

This product is classic. This is one of the best products when it comes to teaching how to leverage the full potential of new Web 2.0 format. I was a little bit hesitant to use this as I was accustomed to traditional methods to bring the traffic to my website, but I am glad that I gave it a fair try and I am amazed by this. I took me around 2 days to fully implement the methods and techniques taught in the course and within 3 weeks my traffic increased to 46 % and my conversion rates are far better. This course is designed very well and the information is provided in a very classy way without too much of information overload. Another interesting thing about this product is you will hear and see some really cool websites which are free and at the same time help you to generate floods of traffic. I think this alone is worth the price of this course. I had seen some dramatic changes in the traffic for my websites after using this and the best thing is it takes just half the time and effort that it requires to get this amazing result over the conventional methods of SEO’s. I absolutely recommend this and for the price tag of 47$, this is a bargain.

Useful Web 2.0 marketing strategies

''Web 2.0 Stampede'' interested me because I was working on affiliate marketing and I thought that this website could provide me with new advertising methods for my affiliate product sales websites, so I decided to try it. Firstly, I must say that the provided methods worked great for me because my websites began to get more visitors when I started to use these advertising methods. Moreover, I got a few useful advices about social niche websites influence to SEO (search engine optimization), as I achieved better results in google search without spending additional money. And last but not least, this website provided additional bonus material about copywriting which was useful too, as this method helped me to get even more visitors to my affiliate product websites. All in all, I can really recommend ''Web 2.0 Stampede'' as a good information source about web 2.0 marketing because it provided advertising methods that really worked for me and the only disadvantage which I was able to notice was a lack of examples and visual content on some of the provided lessons.
