Avoid 1AutomationWiz if your income is important to you

We have been using 1Automationwiz as our shopping cart software for the past 4 years and unfortunately have had too many bad experiences that have cost us orders and damaged brand perception to be able to recommend the application to anyone wanting to do serious business online. In fact we're moving to another provider within the next 2 weeks.

At least 4 times this past 12 months the system has been 'broken' in some way preventing customers from placing orders. It seems to coincide with updates or upgrades planned around that time (I am suspecting they are making changes to the software during business hours).

I realize down-time on any application is inevitable, however they should do everything to ensure these things don't happen and it appears they are not. In addition, you cannot phone them unless you pay an extra $30 on top of the monthly membership (otherwise you have to raise a support ticket and wait up to 3 days for a response) and the time it takes 1automationwiz to fix any issues is extensive, which is the real killer for our business. For example, yesterday customers couldn't place orders that included a free shipping coupon (most of our orders) and it wasn't fixed until today. It worked fine prior to yesterday and this morning it was suggested that the software upgrade that rolled out today somehow 'fixed' the problem - obviously they began the upgrade during business hours and something broke as a result!

Adequate support is not available for this application, unless you're willing to pay an additional $30 fee every month and only expect support during business hours. (Other providers cost the same each month and include 24x7 telephone support without extra cost. )

In addition, requested updates and fixes, which are made via a special forum, are practically ignored or take years to actually have any action taken on them - even when they are the #1 priority according to the number of votes they have from customers.

Over the years I have used this application, I am beginning to suspect that the company is actually very small and unable to cope with the work required to maintain a good system, or unwilling to pay overtime to employees who should be working during the night to make updates rather than the middle of the day.

It might be a good app for very small businesses, however we are not unable to continue operating this application due to the lost revenue and the impact these issues have on market perception of our brand. As a result, we are configuring a new shopping cart (many hours and dollars to get up and running) with another provider and will be rolling this out in the next couple of weeks.

Autoresponder works great

I joined 1AutomationWiz because I needed a reliable autoresponder for one of my websites and I was really happy with the quality of this service. Firstly, I was able to use autoresponder for ~5000 of my website clients and this was only a half of the service limit as 1AutomationWiz clients database limit was 10 000 clients. Moreover, I hadn't got any other limitations: I was able to upload my own custom images, view all statistic, import/export clients list and so on - all this was provided without any additional fees. Finally, I was pleased with their support, as response time to my emails always was less than 12h. To sum up, I really recommend 1AutomationWiz as a good solution for autoresponding system and the only disadvantage I could see was a bit high price, as I had to pay $29 monthly fee and I think that it was a bit higher, compared with the similar websites, which offer similar autoresponding systems.

The first thing I appreciated about 1AutomationWiz was that it allowed me to test drive almost everything before I actually purchased anything. This to me is what made 1AutomationWiz different from a lot of programs I've tried.
