Advertising Web Service Description

Advertising Web Service is an online service founded by internet marketer Steve Bermeister that specializes in search engine marketing. The service provides businesses and website publishers with a variety of solutions for attracting and increasing visitors to their business and organizational websites and blogs. It does this by providing consultation and implementation of paid advertising in a cost effective way.

Advertising Web Service Detailed Overview

In business for 6 years so far, the people at Advertising Web Service state that they have honed their skills in helping website publishers and businesses get the most for their money when it comes to paid online advertising. The service works with businesses and website publishers to help them find customized solutions for getting steady, targeted online traffic to their business and organizational websites.

Advertising Web Service works primarily with the Google Adwords advertising program, which works through the “pay per click” method. Advertisers bid to pay a certain amount for every click on one of their advertisements, and then submit the advertisements to the Google program. How successful their advertising campaigns are through the program depends on such things as how much they bid per click, and how strategic they are in the use of keywords. This can be difficult for a person or even a company to do on their own, especially if they aren’t familiar with the intricacies of search engine optimization. The service promises to provide what businesses and individuals need to run successful pay-per-click marketing campaigns every time.

Advertising Web Service offers a 14-day trial for $5. If you decide to keep using the service after that, you pay $59 per month. What you pay to activate a Google Adwords account or run Google Adwords campaigns is not included with the price. You can, of course, cancel the service at any time.

Note:  If you're on IM Report Card because you're looking for a way to make money online, then you should check out our top recommendation.  It's the best method we've found that anyone can use to earn income online.  Click here to learn more!

Advertising Web Service Reputation

Feedback on the Advertising Web Service program is fairly sparse, but the fact that there don’t seem to be any major complaints about it is a good sign. The fourteen day $5 trial period is probably the minimal time that can be taken to decide whether the program would work well for you , but it should give you at least a basic indication of whether or not you want to continue with it.

Scam Artist got my card number will not let me cancel

I did a trial on this deal. I did not activate or use the service. The company charged me 64 in March, skipped April, charged me twice in May $59 each time and again this month $59. I found my login finally, canceled and told them I want a refund I never activated or used service, that was in May my subscription showed canceled and then again I get another charge for $59 this month, June.

The phone number showing on bank statement is wrong, there is no address or phone on website to contact these scam artists.

If I had their address I would file complaints with ftc, better business bureau and other authorities. Do not sign up for a three day trial or they will get your card and you will not get away... I have my bank trying to deal with them now.

This company was very helpful and provided me with incredible insight

I would have never been able to figure out adwords without their help. They did it all for me, gave me the tracking tools and all. I have a product for sale, and they helped me greatly.. two thumbs up :)I found that emails to customer service were answered promptly and they were very friendly.

This service is a scam

I signed up for the $5 trial. I received notice that my google site was ready and I logged in. There were two error messages-The first was the billing information needed to be entered (OK I get that one). The second read, and I quote from the google site "Your Google AdWords account has been permanently suspended for repeated violation of AdWords or Landing Page and Site policies in this or a related account. Learn more". Might I add that I have never had an Adwords account so it is not a me issue-They obviously don't know google like they claim to. When I asked what they were going to do about it, this was their reply, again I quote:

"Your Google AdWords account has been permanently suspended for repeated violation of AdWords or Landing Page and Site policies in this or a related account.

We are not able to assist you further.

Please cancel this account while you are still within your trial period. "

Total scam

Hi,

The only work of this company has been to take my money without any benefit in return. I would like to report a scam organized worldwide.

I knew very well that there could be a problem when I registered and I had read the contract. If I was wrongly charged because after one week at the lack of benefit in return, I immediately sent an email in which I stated not wanting to continue the process. I have had no response and I considered that the contract was broken. It is possible to foresee everything in a contract under French law and the parties free to determine the agreements they wish. But cons do not respond to requests from people who want to be helped or informed on a point of the contract or make it difficult to unsubscribe are fraudulent tactics such as to invalidate the contract. No one is immune from negligence. But cons we have here a routine maneuver and we will demonstrate.

Slow but worthwhile

The website said they'll set up my Adwords account in 2 days, but it took more like 4. Anyway, a rep contacted me to tell me they had an unusually high number of new customers.

Not happy with the delay, but the quality of the account was good. I showed it to a friend of mine who's been doing Google Adwords longer than me, and he said it was pretty good.

I think the main point of the service is to start people off using Google Adwords. I didn't know anything about Google Adwords when I started, but the website walked me through everything.

After a few months, I left because I'd learned enough to do it myself. So it's great if you have no experience with Google Adwords and want to watch someone else set up your account.

I disagree, my campaign has been great... ?

Reading through the above comments makes me wonder if we are talking about the same company?

I signed up for the 14 day trial, and was contacted by an account manager the next day (their guarantee was that you'd have an campaign ready in 48 hours, which they certainly delivered on).

I have had no problems logging in to my account to view my stats, which as someone mentioned above do take some time to get right, but eventually they find the right keywords etc and now my campaign is doing great for me. The login details were sent in an email after signing up, so I just kept them on file.

I think the problem here seems to be that you guys didn't pay enough attention during the signup process, which I always make sure to do with trial offers. There should have been no surprise that it costs $59 after the trial, as it states it clearly during the signup process that if you don't cancel your account before the end of your trial you agree to continue with the full service. Pretty standard for online services really...

I would suggest logging in to your account and sending a email through there, and you can also cancel your account there too - you don't even need to send an email. Either way, I always get a response within a day or 2. If you lost your password click the "If you have forgotten your password" link, where you can get the password sent to your email.

Anyway, that's my 2 cents. I hope it helps!

Web advertising services

Web advertising services is the most dishonest company I have contacted on the net. They offer a 14 day free trial, (which comes with a $59+ charge a month). I signed up & within minutes I realized they asked for my credit card #. After searching their site for in depth information, I found an obscure $59 monthly charge would be applied to this free offer! Immediately I contacted them to cancel, I received no reply. I wrote several times & all I got in return was "please activate your account-----" I did not activate it. They kept on sending me emails asking me to activate it, each time I replied that I had canceled. Next thing there was a charge on my Visa for a company by the name of Air Arena pty ltd, for $59, I contacted my Visa, who suggested that I change my visa card #. I did. Now I receive emails from Advertising Web Services asking me to contact them as my bank has refused their withdrawal! Keep in mind that no company by the name of Advertising Web services has ever tried to debit my account! Visa opened a case file & refunded my $59. I guess they came to the same conclusion I did. Web Advertising Services & Air Arena are one of the same. It is interesting that while they were still sending me emails asking me to activate my account, they had debited my account prior to that. All correspondence from them is now forwarded to Visa.

It is absolutely impossible to contact the company

I sent many emails requesting to stop subscription right after I decided to try their 14 day trial. In fact, I never activated the Google Adwords account because it's impossible to contact any representative from this company, or ask a question...

Yesterday, I looked at my credit card statement and was shocked. The company billed me $ 64 dollars every month. I don't know even why they billed me, they NEVER SUBMITTED an advertisement, I don't even have a website. They didn't create any advertisement text for me.

I wanted to stop (14 days trial), the problem that IT is absolutely impossible to contact at the company or make my emails to be answered. It is very tricky that they request to send them emails ONLY FROM THEIR WEBSITE, where the password is unknown. It is impossible to to contact this company via your regular mail account, I tried endless times and failed. The only one I had NO_Reply Infor service email that NEVER GOT ANSWERED. Again today I submitted email from their WEBSITE with a request to call me ASAP. No one even returned my call. It took enormous amount of time and strength...

First time ever I have had such a negative experience and fishy experience.

Total Scam

Just got a real shock when I opened my credit card statement. I had not agreed to the $59 which translated to £59.

I watch my stats all the time and I have had no traffic what soever.

The problem is I can't login to this to cancel my subscription. Will they take more next month?

I can't contact them and my card company says that I have to cancel my card to ensure it does not go through again. It's my only card so I can't do that.

How did everyone else cancel?

Haven't shown me a thing!

I tried, with more and more urgency to get back in touch with Advertising Web Service earlier today to take advantage of quitting after their "free trial. " Despite my use of the information I took screen shots of during my log-in process, I was utterly unable to log in to the website, despite their emailing me what I knew was already my password.

I also found out that it is impossible to "contact them" if you are already a user of their service. Hmmm. Pretty fishy. If you click that you're a user, it just shoots you to another page.

So, unless I hear back from them pretty soon, I clicked that I was not a user in order to contact them, they get a big fat F from me. Especially since my Stat Counter doesn't show that they have done anything for me at all.

Appears to be a ripoff company

I bit on the $5 trial and started signing up for the service. There is a 3 step process you go through to get registered, however after getting to step 2 and finding out it costs $59 per month, I stopped going any further and closed the window. Not even 1 minute later I get an email alert that my credit card had been charged $59 for this service that I didn't commit to. Of course, there are NO phone numbers or contact info to cancel the transaction. I have contacted my credit card company and fully intend to turn them over to an internet fraud investigator.

This company is a scam!

This company took £64 from my bank account for "web optimization". However, I have had NO communication from the company whatsoever and they do not respond to my emails. Furthermore, NO services have been offered or provided. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!

Please don't sign up for an account with Advertising Web Service!

I signed up for the 14 day trial, but money matters took a turn for the worst, so I canceled my ads and the subscription as soon as the first day kicked in. I had no email confirmation about this, but I checked my google account and there were no ads running, it said the account was canceled, so I thought nothing of it. Had two credit card payments go out of £59, which took me a long time to work out it was the advertising web service. I went in again to the website and checked no ads running, and this was fine. Went in again to the account area and unsubscribed again, then I received an email to confirm the cancellation, so was then very worried it didn't go through the first time.

There is no telephone number for this company, so you cannot speak to anyone at all. Isn't this odd? There is no whois information, and their live chat on their website is never working. So you can only email them and hope for an answer. I emailed 9 days ago, and have so far had only one response to my 3 emails. It was short and brash and basically said, it wasn't canceled until the second time, and that's that. Goodbye £118.

They can see I have had no ads running and they were canceled on day one of the trial. Why would I continue paying £59 a month for a service I have canceled the ad campaigns on?

I feel totally duped and conned. I feel stupid I went with this company, just because they looked genuine enough. Their customer service is appalling, and I'm really worried I have lost £118 of money I cannot afford to pay back, so I'll end up paying interest on it and advertising web service will have cost me a very big mistake.

Please do not use them. Use google direct and come up with your own keywords and ad campaigns; it's not difficult.

Anyone know where I stand on this? Any governing body/trading standards that can help?

Guaranteed listing

I got had a pretty good ad campaign with this site offering easy access to keywords and a daily update on other site reports and their stand on the entire marketing business. The part I don't like about about this site is the slow listing they provide. Once I waited a week just to get my listing posted. Though, they said they would guarantee it, I don't think they were lying. It may take some time here and there, but it will be up eventually. The site's rates are low in the beginning but increases along with traffic, just like many other sites. It's a good system, it just takes time.
