Cliqs is a free url shortening program with a few interesting differences. Just like any url shortening program, members can type in their affiliate url and get a disguised one which will protect it from people trying to hack into their sales. But, Cligs takes this to a whole new level by providing some major analytics to the whole thing. This allows members to not only protect their sales but to also see where they are getting those sales.
Joining Cliqs is a very simple process. All you have to do is pick a username, password, and an email address and you are good to go. Once you have signed up, be sure to click and drag the bookmarklet to your favorites toolbar so that you can easily access the program every time you want to shorten a url. Making a new url is absolutely painless, click on the tab for create new Cliq and enter your url.
Once you click the Create Cliq button, you will receive your new url which will be something like http://cl.gs/x8ts9s just like the new url you would get with any other shortening program. But, the big difference with Cligs is that you can then go to Edit Cligs and make that url a little more personable. You can change the url to anything you like, anyway that you want to brand your url. So, http://cl.gs/x8ts9s become http://cl.gs/ipickedmyownname. And, it is always easier for people to remember something unique than a bunch of jumbled letters and numbers.
Cligs also offers some major analytics to help you figure out where your urls are getting clicked and who are clicking them. You can take one url and make multiple shortened (and personalized) urls and place them in different advertising venues. This way you can tell which site is actually producing clicks and which are just a waste of time. And, by giving unique urls to your referrers, you will be able to see which ones are actually producing the most traffic for you.
The real-time analytics tell you when your links are getting clicked, where they are getting clicked, and if the search engines are having their bots click them. And, since the program is 100% search engine friendly and uses 301 forward to get you the best ranking for your website, it can really give your site a shot at a good ranking. Using the tools and the Right Clig option to test how your links are doing in different countries really allows affiliates the opportunity to fine tune any and all advertising campaigns.
I am actually very impressed with this site. I have looked at a lot of url shortening programs before and never really wanted to bother with them. Something about that jumble of letters and numbers just seemed aggravating to me. But, this one allows me to customize my link, and I think that is very exciting. I can really get my name (or any name) in the public eye and really brand myself. And, the multiple url's for the same link will really give me the chance to see if my advertising time and dollars are being put to good use.

Does a great job  I can honestly say that this is the best url shortener I have ever used and it is absolutely free - this is just awesome. The site is very well ordered, very user friendly - you will get used to it after a few clicks. I use Cligs for shortening of my affiliate links and I have never had problems with the urls. I love the option to personalize your link. Other thing that is very good is the option to track all the clicks on your link. If you need a service like this, just join the site for free and you will really be satisfied the results you get.

An outstanding advertising tool It's actually more than just a shortening service, and it's great that it's free. I've used it for at least 10 different urls I'm advertising, and I've never had any problems. I also absolutely love that you can personalize your shortened links. It's a great tool for anyone advertising an affiliate program, because it's won't cost you anything, and it's very easy to use. Before, I was using several different sites to shorten my urls, but now this is the only one I use. I would definitely recommend it for everyone advertising online.

Good Quality and Free to Boot! This site is incredibly easy to navigate, and it definitely delivers on what is promised. What I like the most about this site however is that it offers it's service to the user or member at no charge whatsoever. While there are flashier url shortening services out there, one really cannot beat free, easy to navigate, and great results!

Just awesome! This site is great! There's a lot of URL shorteners out there and this is not the shortest. but it's probably the one with the most features! There's so many features that it's SCARY. The site is well organized. You should really join the site for free instead of just using this without an account because you won't get all these features. I just dumped my old URL shortener for this!

This is one of the best I have used several url shortening programs before, but Cligs is the one that really stands out for me. I enjoy being able to personalize my shortened url once it is generated. To me this give it more a personal touch instead of just some random letters at the end. What this program has going for it the most is the analytics portion. I really like being able to track the clicks on my url. I am able to see when and where my link is being clicked. To me this is very important because it allows me to advertise a lot better. I'm able to focus in on certain areas and markets because I'm able to see everything on here. It's simply amazing. While other programs allow me to also customize my url they do not have the added benefit of the analytics. I would highly recommend Cligs to anyone wanting a shortened url and the capability to see where your traffic is coming from. This is an awesome feature that goes with a real good program. To me it is one of the best and I use it all the time. It's real simple to use and get set up. It's quick and actually produces results. If this is something you try, I would make sure you replace the letters at the end with your own personal touch. It seems that in my experience it gets more results. I give this two thumbs up. |

Decent Site  I have tried a variety of URL shortening programs, Cligs being one of them. They hold their own against the competition, but don't have anything really special that I like. Although they do offer the ability to customize your link, other programs offer the same service. I usually stick to URL shortening programs that offer incentives to use them, like Linkbucks, but for an ad free URL programmer, Cligs is good.

Increases satisfaction! The Cligs URL shortening service is a great way to monitor and shorten links that usually require high traffic and typically have longer URLs. A very long URL is too long for the website users to remember, and sometimes I need to see how many users went there. The Cligs service increased my customer satisfaction by about 30%, and even increased the number of users who went to the pages that I used Cligs on. I also found that I could de-bulk my website by monitoring what times users click on certain links, and making those links only appear at certain times. Cligs is a great way to increase satisfaction and make URLs shorter.
