Constant Content Description

Constant Content is a marketplace in which writers can sell their content to marketers. The site sells unique content as well publishing rights of content from a huge list of over 20000 writers. There are multiple checks for uniqueness, grammar, and spelling to ensure that the articles on the site are of the highest quality.

Constant Content Detailed Overview

If you’re planning to promote your Internet business by submitting content to web 2.0 sites, to article directories, or to the search engines, it’s important to have the unique quality content. For people who want the best they can get and are willing to pay for it, there’s Constant Content.

The site is a site for both writers and buyers. Buyers can browse through categories to find the appropriate content for their business. They can either choose to buy usage rights, the whole unique article, or the full rights. The full rights are the most expensive and a unique article is a runner up in price.

You can go through the site and get a sample of articles. You’ll get the word count, keyword analysis, and get a sense of the writing style. You’ll also see if the content is unique by locating the iThenticate seal. iThenticate is a plagiarism detection software that compares content across many databases.

You can examine the articles by looking at the number of downloads and referring to the acceptable usage rights to see how they can be used. Constant Content has different definitions by unique and full rights, so make sure you read this carefully.

If you can’t find the articles by browsing, you can use the search function and search by keyword. If you find that you like an article written by a writer, you can look through to see all of the writer’s work. Constant Content even has a request feature where you can ask for work if you don’t find what you’re looking for.

The site for writers is a great resource as you can choose your own topics and submit them to the database. You can also set your prices and choose what kind of rights you want to offer to buyers. The only thing bad about this is that there are no guarantees your content will be bought.

On the flip side, you can write for content on the requests section and write content only people are looking for. While not all buyers that request specific content end up buying yours, the chances of you earning will increase dramatically as a result of doing so.

The site takes 35% of your sale, checks your content for quality, and pays out by Paypal with a $5 minimum payout. Despite these rules, the site can still be a great way to bring in some extra income. If you publish a lot of content, you may get several purchases a month coming from usage rights.

Constant Content Reputation

In conclusion, Constant Content is a great site for both writers and buyers who are looking for high quality content. As an Internet marketer, the content on the site could probably be too expensive as you can easily hire a writer to write a unique article for much less. The service doesn’t really cater to Internet marketers but to webmasters who are looking for quality content.

But if you compare outsourced article writing to Constant Content, I found that the quality is much higher. The grammar always makes sense, the content always flows nicely, and there are no spelling mistakes to be found. If you’re looking for quality content and have a short deadline, this is a great site to look.

From A Content Buyers Perspective

As an occasional buyer of content, I find this site a bad value. Constant-Content charges 'original content' prices for non-original content.

A lot of these articles can be found on associated content, hub pages, and other sites. Not worth any more than an article you could get for free at ezinearticles, etc.

Very Good but has strict Editors

I am a member of Constant Content but I concentrate on sending referrals in the hope that they are excellent native English writers. I tried making a few submissions but when I got four instant rejections I gave up. This is a great site for native English writers or any other writer who can write very good articles. The price range for an article of 500 words is very high. Some writers are even selling their work for over $20 dollars. Compared to normal freelance websites, Constant Content is really the best. Too bad it's editors are hard to please. If you are a native writer go for it as it is much more likely to work for you.

Constant Contact - Deceitful Billing Practices

Let me first say that I've been using constant contact for many, many years. Aside from a few quirks I have found them to be a very stable email portal for my business. That said, they have a very deceitful billing practice and should be monitored.

Here's what they do: When you register for service, they will bill you forward, the first month based on how many email addresses that you will be sending out to, then if you remove those contacts during that first month, in the second month instead of billing you for the new amount of contacts (0-500), they will bill you for the peak number of emails in your system from the last month. So in essence you are paying for 2 months of email addresses when you only use 1.

Here's an example:

A. Register on Jan 1st with 15,000 email contacts in your list.

Billed ahead - pay $150 (10,000-25000 contacts)

B. On Jan 28 if you remove the 15,000 email contacts.

On February 1st you expect to pay - $15 (0-500 contacts)

Instead you are billed for 15,000 (from the previous month), you pay $150 again.

Thus you are billed for 2 months when you really only used it for a month.

I've called them out about this, and the reps that answer know that it's wrong... but until someone puts together a class action lawsuit... this practice will continue...

Too Strict!

After finally giving in and deciding to try an article for pay website, like Constant Content, I can say there was no gain. After a long week of endlessly resubmitting articles, they were constantly rejected for minor issues like the font not being a size 12 or one not including an excerpt long enough. Other issues for rejection may have been if one placed a comma in the wrong place or didn't space an article in a specific manner. This website is overly meticulous in it's rules, but if you're an older person that has a lot of time to sit and perfect everything, then it may be right for you. Otherwise, I'd refer someone to a website for amateur writers. I've heard many others say their articles too rarely/never make submitted approvals. I personally felt like I could get nowhere with a website like Constant-Content.

My Primary Income Source

Within one week of registering with Constant Content, it replaced Demand Studios as my primary source of income as a freelance writer. I have enjoyed incredible success with this site and everyone I have dealt with has been wonderful and helpful. I find the template for submitting articles quite simple and user-friendly, and I like the feature that allows writers to keep up with the status of each of their articles'. Also, the editors are quite fair, in my opinion. I do not find them rude or "knit-picky" in the least. The best benefit of Constant Content is that their customers are willing to pay decent money for quality content, unlike some other freelancer sites that are filled with employers asking writers to work for slave labor wages. I highly recommend Constant Content to every freelance writer.

The only online job that makes me real money!

This has to be my all time favorite site. If you're willing to work, you can easily make hundreds in your spare time. The catch is that you need to be able to write well-researched, unique and perfectly grammatically correct articles.

I have referred a lot of friends to this site and many of them have given up after their first few articles are rejected. The key is to read their terms and pay attention to the comments they send back if they reject an article. That is the other thing I love about this site. If they reject an article, they ALWAYS give a good reason. So you can easily fix up your article and resubmit it.

They do take a high commission compared to most sites - 35%. But before finding them, I was selling a 500 word article for $2 on a site that took 10%. Now I sell an article of the same length for $20! So even with the 35% commission, I'm making a ton of cash.

I also like that I don't have to check the site constantly for jobs. I can write whatever I want and post it to be sold. I can also set up my account to send me an e-mail about every new request posted on the request board. And when one of those catches my attention, it's almost a guaranteed sale.

I have been a member of the site for almost a year and submitting articles every few days, and out of those only 9 haven't sold. Yes, the approval process is sometimes a little slow. However, I have never had to wait more than 3 days (on a weekend or holiday) to get my article approved, and on a week day it rarely takes more than 24 hours. In my mind, the approval time isn't worth worrying about. I found a well-paying, legitimate online job, and I get paid once a month without fail.

I'm happy.

Constant Content--Too much--Too little

While it is true that Constant Content can give an author a means to sell His/Her articles for a decent price, it is also true that Constant Content is very slow in approving articles. Rejections come in the form of a "Token" email with no explanation other than a broad term. The approval is left in the hands of ONE individual (ED), and approvals for requests are taken above others. Constant Content is a great place to submit and sell your articles, if it is your hobby, and nothing else!

Constant Content Review

I joined the site about a year ago because I heard that it paid users to write articles. I'm a writer who could use some extra income, so I decided to make a free account. When I logged on, there was a list of writing assignments people needed done and how much they were willing to pay for those assignments. The pay is higher than on other sites of this kind ($50 per article is fairly typical) but it is difficult to write an article that is up to the requester's standards. It must have perfect spelling and grammar and must be very thorough and exceptionally written. If your article is rejected, you can redo it and send it back, but I found that I lost patience fairly early on. If you are a serious writer with a lot of time to kill, this isn't a terrible opportunity. I became discouraged fairly early on because of how long it took to do the research for articles and how likely it was that my article wouldn't even be accepted.

Be a writer in constant content

Nice to be a freelance writer in Constant Content. If you like writing why don't you sell your article to Constant Content. You will earn huge money there.

I have sent 10 articles to them and only 2 of my articles were sold to buyers. You must have a unique article and good seo keywords in order for your article to be sold fast.

You can submit as many as articles to them as you want and just wait to see which article has been sold. The tricks in order to get money there are you must submit many articles about health and internet marketing and don't put too expensive a price to your article. I usually set $10 for one article that has 300 words. So this site is good for you if you have time to write something.

A Good Platform for Pro and Semi-Pro Writers

The best aspect of the site is that it allows authors to set their own prices on articles and determine the amount they are willing to work for. The site's guidelines are strict, which is to be expected if they want to sell high quality content. If you stick to writing directly for article requests, you are much more likely to sell articles. However, you can also write on topics of your choice and make a considerable amount. It is easier to sell articles if you know what topics are popular on the internet and with online companies.

The commission the site takes is reasonable and payment is fast. Acceptance time of articles is somewhat slow, but if you are submitting for a topic that was requested, it can be done automatically once the article is accepted. Overall, the site allows a great deal of freedom and provides writers and artists with an open arena to market their talents. Unlike sites like Textbroker, writers can be contacted through personal email by clients for regular work as well.

Good but make sure you read their guidelines

I'm a relatively new author at Constant Content. I've submitted about 10 articles so far (of those, one was rejected). They are quite strict with their standards but if you have a look at other articles on the site, read the writing guidelines and double-check your article before you submit it, you can minimize the chance of rejection.

The staff are good - I didn't receive a payment on one occasion, so I contacted them. It was resolved promptly & I received payment within 24 hours.

They also send you an email when you sell an article, which is great, so you don't have to keep logging in to the site to check.

The main drawbacks are:

- The approval time can be slow. I've waited up to a week for an article to be approved (most times it's been 3-4 days).

- Some articles just don't sell. My first two articles sold within 48 hours, but others still haven't sold.

- Their cut is high (35%), but in fairness, you can adjust your prices accordingly and they do seem to attract buyers who are willing to pay for articles at the higher end of the price range.

One of the better paid to write sites

I started IM as predominantly an Article Marketer and for a long time this was one of my main sources of IM income. However lately I prefer a competitor site which I will not name here.

For me it seems tough as there is not enough demand on this site anymore and I can't find as much relevant article requests as I used to be able to. It is still a good site though which I occasionally make a bit of money off.

In Constant Content's defense though the price per article is 99% of the time better than most other sites in the article industry.

Picky Publishing

I've tried using Constant Content several times to sell my freelance writing and photography. After having my first few submissions rejected, I learned that the site is very picky. First of all, it took quite a while for them to get back to me on the status of my submissions. I didn't hear anything from them until a few days later. When I did receive news from them, it was all bad. My photography was rejected for not having the proper length to width ratio and various other small concerns. After looking into it, I learned that photography doesn't sell very well on the site.

I decided to focus more on writing, but even then my articles would constantly be rejected for small formatting issues. It is also a little frustrating that they require so much of your article to be available for the public to see. If you show too little, you'll have your writing rejected. Every so often, I go back and try again but to no avail. It seems to me that the site is aimed more at professional writers, and if you're an amateur freelance author or photographer, you won't have much luck.

I Love This Site- The Best Paid to Write Site Ever

I always hear people complaining that Constant-Content is too strict, but there is nowhere else to earn $30-50$ for a 300-400 word article. The pay is great. Good writers can earn well over $500 a month. I am consistently making good money here. The pay is always on time, I've never had to contact them because they failed to pay me, and I have been using this site for four years. This is the second site I started on in my freelancing career.

Great service!

I have written for many different companies online. Some of them are professional and some are not. Constant Content is one of the more professional ones and they offer feedback on your articles. A lot of online companies just reject your articles with no type of feedback. So far Constant Content has provided timely feedback on all of my articles. I have submitted quite a few articles and been paid for them. They are a very legit company and great to work for. I was paid for my work and this is great because a lot of companies do not.

More for Professionals

I started with Associated Content and worked my way to Constant Content that is believed to be a more professional site. I found that they were very picky when it came to accepting my articles. They looked for every little mistake. Their only concern was about money and nothing else, for instance you can only read a paragraph of a certain article and then you have to buy it. The upside is they do pay very high for articles which I found out after a while. After writing for Constant Content for a couple of months I started to earn some decent money.

Constant content

After being a freelance writer and writing for other websites like associated content I came across Constant Content. It is a very professional site. They only accept certain content and are not hesitant to decline your articles. They do pay a lot though. Writing quality and unique content earned me the most money. One of the things I don't like about Constant Content is they only let you read a couple paragraphs of the article and the rest you have to purchase. They just want to sell your articles and nothing more. Constant Content is not for beginners, if you're going to join start with helium or associated content first!

Not AS Easy As It States

I submitted three articles, that I had published elsewhere, at once. That was it for me. I am banned. It is OK, but I found the site is very picky. I always check my spelling and grammar. They do not like for you to use first person in articles, I did find that out. I guess if you have been writing for longer than I have, it should be a great site for you. I am just trying the freelance writing stuff out, so I admit I do have a lot to learn. My advice would be to get more articles published elsewhere first, so that you get the experience. Then try an submit articles at Constant Content.

Great for looking for article ideas

I joined this site after I visited a blog from another site LinkReferral.com. At the site, the blogger praised Constant Content for helping her earn money even after she wasn't really active with the site. So I was curious and went and checked out Constant Content and found that it's like a marketplace where writers can meet those who are in need of content for their websites or blogs. Since I love writing I thought I could earn by contributing to the site.

After I joined, they're very diligent in sending me writing assignments which I find not so easy to write since some of them ask for very long essays. Some are even close to a thousand words long. But the pay was quite handsome. Some offer payment up to $500 which is quite a big amount for one essay. But I have never tried any of the writing assignments since most of the topics are not in my interest. And when they are, it is so specific that I don't think I was able to write about it.

However, I was able to submit articles that I can write within my interest and wait for people to view them. They are only allowed to view a paragraph or less and decide if they want to buy my article. This way Constant Content is like a shop where we the writers place our articles for people to come and buy. So if there are no buyers, we don't get paid, but our articles will still be with the site. So if there are no buyers today, who knows we may get a buyer later. Now I understand why the blogger said she still earns from the site even when she's not active anymore there. Her old articles with the site were bought at a later date.

Even though I don't do the writing assignments, I find the emails Constant Content sends me gives me ideas to write my own articles to submit. And with the helpful hints that the client sends, it's quite a breeze to write my own articles at the length I'm comfortable with. So I use Constant Content for article ideas, even though I haven't earned anything from any of my articles. This is one site I would recommend for professional writers who want to earn online as the clients are willing to pay quite high for quality articles.

I am hoping my luck changes!

In a way I like the way this site is set up compared to similar sites that offer practically the same thing. I receive several emails a day with people requesting certain articles. They tell you what keywords they want you to use and the quantity of both words and unique articles they are looking for. I submitted one article that I wrote for one guy about vitamins and the importance they have for our health. It was unfortunately rejected with the reason being it had grammar errors. I was slightly disappointed as I had spent a fair bit of time writing the article. I hope my luck will change soon as I plan to write a few more articles. The potential is there.

Too hard to make money with them

I signed up with Constant Content months ago and still have not made any money with them. They are very picky and don't accept all the articles I send to them. I don't think my articles are that bad. They are pretty good and I check the spelling before I submit my articles to them. I wish they would accept more of my articles. I only have had 2 of my articles accepted by them, but I have not made any money off of those 2 articles yet. Maybe I should just try another place instead to sell my articles. Cause I have been with them for months and still have not made any money with them.

Seems to be great

I can't remember exactly how I first found out about this site, but I am glad that I did. I have not made any money from this site yet, but I believe that I will pretty soon. There is a lot of things that I like about Constant Content. One of them being that they only accept my work that is written in a professional manner, and the reason I like that is because it helps my writing skills. So as time has passed my writing skills have gotten much better. Another thing that I like about this site is their guidelines, which clearly states that your work must be professional. You don't see a lot of sloppy work, where someone just threw something together to get paid. They also pay through PayPal, which is a major plus for me. So far I haven't found anything that I dislike about the site. So I would recommend this site to others, but I will tell them to make sure they read the guidelines so they won't be wasting their time writing a lot of stuff that just won't cut it.

I Made Nothing

I was excited to join Constant Content about six months ago. I have sold articles to Associated Content so I figured I could make some extra money from them as well. To date I have made nothing. A big fat zero. I think they are too picky when it comes to submitting items. None of my articles have been accepted, and they have not given me clear specific reasons why. Sure they have a right to be picky, but someone out there may think that my article is great. It is not like they are paying me anyway. Someone else will be buying it, so they would not really be out anything if they accepted more work. I think it would make their site better.

Either way you come in, you are in a win win

I have used Constant Content from both ends of the spectrum. I use to buy articles through their directory for certain small projects, as well as sell a few of my own. I'm not that great of a writer, but I will say that I'm good enough to earn a few bucks from my work.

Constant Content helped me work on my writing while paying me all at the same time. So I was heavily involved with how the article submission worked.

As far as me getting content through Constant Content, I will say that I have met some fine writers through Constant Content. This website is really professional and definitely for the most part a "serious writer".

I also like the way the interface, homepage is setup. It's plain and simple, easy to navigate and easy to understand. Out of all the article submission sites I've been to, Constant Content has the "it" factor,

I Have Had Great Success

I signed up for this program several months back because I like to write. After I signed up, I submitted several articles. I would have to say that about 80% of the articles I submitted were approved. I have also had several articles sell (full rights). This is what brought in a lot of additional income for me. For certain types of articles I write the usage rights is what sells but that is fine. I think this is a great site if like to write. I did not find it difficult to get articles approved through this site. I always make sure that I run several spell and grammar checks before submitting my articles. I would recommend this site for writers as you can benefit greatly.

No Guarantees at Constant Content

I stumbled across this website after reading about it on a blog that urged writers to try and sell their own works rather than selling them to a big company like Associated Content for a fraction of what they're worth. While I agree with that notion on the surface and that Constant Content does seem like a good idea, in reality the site won't provide success for most people unless you are a highly dedicated professional who is aware of the few things to write about that would actually sell. I submitted 5 decent articles to this website with absolutely zero success.

I do like how each author gets their own profile (complete with selling stats) and how a potential buyer cannot read the full article. However, so much quality writing will be going to waste if you rely solely on this website to sell it.

I love Constant Content

I've been writing for Constant Content for over a year on a strictly PART-TIME basis and have made over $5,000 US (and that's after CC's cut!)

It is definitely a great place for experienced writers to sell articles. Generally, I make between $400 and $800 a month at the moment and, recently when I took two months off, I still made $300 a month as older articles I had already written sold.

Once you build up a good portfolio of articles, you can sell the articles at any time. CC is not a guaranteed income, but if you contribute regular articles, you should see enough sales. The site has stats that about 70 percent of articles currently sell, and my own stats are that I have sold 88 percent of licenses, compared to the total number of articles I have submitted. Some articles have sold a couple of times (usage license only). My best sale has been $150 for full rights for 950 word article, and I have sold another article three times for $35 a use. Usually, my articles sell between $40 and $100 for full rights. I love this website and would wholeheartedly recommend it to people who can write well.

Constant Content, my point of view

Not that great. No guarantee you will make any cash because Constant Content does not buy articles but is basically a bid and buy site for articles. I give it a C because they deny many articles, reject your article with no given reason, so you don't know how to fix it. Ed, the editor is rude in the forums and they judge and deny articles instead of the actual clients themselves. I have good writing skills and kept revising articles but nothing ever got accepted. If you can actually get some work accepted, it may be a winner. One more thing, after three article denials you are banned. Minimum payout is $50.

Not bad and exceeded my expectations

I came across Constant Content when I visited one of my friends' blogs, and I told myself, heck, why not try it since it's free to join anyway. So I did. I registered on the same day, and got approved right away. The next day, I already started receiving alerts for new article requests. This is pretty good, I was actually surprised to receive 2 article requests on the same day! The request is public, so this means that it was sent to all writers or publishers registered at Constant Content. I was glad to see that the request contained the specific instructions as to how the buyer or client wants the article written such as the topic, number of words, and one even had guide questions to aid in writing the article content. This is pretty good. I have yet to get my article approved, but so far, I am quite satisfied as to how the site works.

Contant Content Works Best For The Season Writer

When I was a newbie in the freelance writing world I stumbled across Constant Content and eagerly signed up thinking it would be some easy pocket money.

While the concept of this website is great and the ability to make a fair amount of money is highly possible, you can't take this writing gig for granted.

To be most effective in the community you need to publish lots and lots of content. I myself hardly ever posted anything and therefore I did not earn any money at all from the site. I did see a lot of other authors that were making a pretty good chunk of change each month, but only because they were publishing a lot of content.

I would recommend Constant Content for more seasoned writers who have developed their writing skills and can produce a fair amount of daily content. There are a lot of people looking for quality articles on the site and if you stick with it and build up your reputation it can work out quite well for you.

Constant Content Lots of Content to Write About Hard to be Published

I think Constant Content is a good site if you're writing skills are excellent. Their standards are considerably higher than Associated Content, Triond, Reviewstream or just about any other writing site actually. I have tried publishing articles twice with them with no success. I do get continuous mailings from them though with requests for content. I may try again, but I will make sure I run everything through grammar and spellcheckers twice, if you don't do that, don't even bother trying to get anything published on Constant Content.
