Directory Maximizer is a website directory submission service. This service allows you to submit your website to only one central program, and in turn, have it submitted to several website directories at once. You register with the site for free and pay only per website directory submission. They also have an affiliate system that offers commissions for referring clients to the program.

Directory Maximizer is a service that can make one aspect of your internet marketing easier-- website directory submission. Website directories are popular places for website owners who want to get backlinks to their sites. They list websites in sub-categories that are part of broader categories, and when you get your site listed in some good ones, you can start seeing better search engine rankings.

If you were to look for all of the good website directories on the internet, make a list of them and then submit your website to them one by one, it would take a very long time. That’s where Directory Maximizer comes in. This service already has a list of over 1200 (and counting) website directories, and when you register with them you can have your site submitted to as few or as many of these directories as you like.

Submissions to the website directories listed on Directory Maximizer cost $.14 each, which translates to $14 for every 100 submissions. Your website is submitted manually by staff, which ensures that it will get into the right categories and subcategories. They make sure that all the directories they submit to comply with search engine guidelines, and you can have control over things such as the minimum page rank of the directories your site will be submitted to.

Directory Maximizer has also added social bookmarking to their services. You can choose any page from your blog or website and have the service submit it to any of the social networking sites that they list. The price for this is $.19 per submission.

Directory Maximizer Reputation

Directory Maximizer has earned a good reputation among the people who have used it. Though there were issues raised about how long it takes to get listed in some of the directories, the service clearly states that some directories can take up to 90 days to approve and list a site. Overall, people have been pleased with the service and the results.

Update to the negative review

I couldn't figure out how to change my comments, but when a company reaches out and does the right thing. You feel obligated to the company/this community to respond.

It seems their email program was not receiving my emails, which makes total sense, because I literally didn't get responses. They have fixed the problem, continued the project, and gave me a generous credit. Their humanity to accept a bad situation, and provide great customer service, leads me to change my grade to "A".

Emails are working fine now, good work done, and I will continue to use them... It's cool that they actually cared about my feedback. Any questions message me, on this account or nicheideas account.

Not an organized professional company

I must say I heard good things about this service, but not for me. I placed an order 2 weeks ago. The first email informed me that the link I posted was a redirect to another page, and that this should not be the case.

Totally right. I then confirmed this with their staff that day on.. followed up 4 days later. No answer. After a week someone had gotten back to me apologizing and asking about the link confirmation. I replied back. Yes confirmed. 1 week after that I get the same email asking me about my link, and what they should do. This company is extremely unfocused. I don't know what the issue is but I'm running out of patience, 2 weeks and they have yet to start.

I can't say anything about the actual linking, because this order still has not been fulfilled after 2 weeks. After today's email (asking again about the link, I am (to say the least) floored. Who is running this circus parade? IF you have another option, go with them. This company seems like they are unorganized. -my 2 cents . Adam

Completely Hooked!

My site has been struggling with getting ranked (well) for the keywords we are targeting. I ran a test with just 25 submissions and literally within 1 day made it to the 1st page for 2 keywords and 2nd page for another keyword. Before running this campaign through Directory Maximizer, our ranks for these keywords would not budge. After this campaign, keyword rankings shot through the roof- I've never seen anything like it. Will definitely be running some more article submissions with Directory Maximizer. I feel like I discovered an unknown SEO secret weapon!

I am an SEO specialist in Chicago. I handle SEO for a couple of businesses & am a regular user of this service. Till now I've got good results that I have been able to show my clients (which is most imp. for me)Directory Maximizer gets my vote :)

Using it for my sites

Started using Directory Maximizer for my sites (I'm an SEO specialist) since last year & have seen the results. I like their email handling, spread out submissions & more titles features. Gives me a lot of flexibility as to how I want my order to go through... in fact, I've also used their social bookmarking service.

Showing results, service has been the best

My travel site has got good results from Directory Maximizer, but more than that, I've really been impressed with their service - it's awesome. A lot of attention to detail, personal attention & timely responses makes the experience great. One of the best services I've received. Have tried other submitting services before, but only one I've stuck to is this site.

Directory Maximizer has been very useful to improve my rankings

I have been using Directory Maximizer for my site (home page & inner pages) & have been very satisfied with their service as well as the results. My rankings have been good, thanks to them, because really, I hardly do anything apart from the directory submissions through Directory Maximizer. But that's not so much of an issue as my rankings have stayed in the 1st page of Google! You should try Directory Maximizer too...

Good Directory Submission Service

It does what it says it will do. Doesn't cheat the customer or give false promises. If you want link building, this is the site for you. I have outsourced the directory link building for all my sites as well as my customer's sites to Directory Maximizer. Hasn't failed me till now.

Really helped new site climb up the search rankings :)

I am really not a very tech savvy person so when I got my site built, I didn't really know where to start with the marketing. I read about Directory Maximizer in a forum & decided to give it a try.

Not sure about the results, I just started with a small $25 order but the service they gave & the links that I got gave me the confidence to go ahead with them for bigger orders. I have since placed 5 more orders with them over a period of about a year & the experience has been nothing but pleasant. Their customer service is excellent, one of the best I have seen, really.

My site always comes up in the top 10 searches for my keywords such as 'Recipe for Kids' & has maintained that position for more than 4 months now. I am very happy with Directory Maximizer & think they should get their due!

Responsive Team at Maximiser eServices - Directory Maximiser

Kunal has a very enthusiastic and responsive team at Maximiser eServices. The first time we transacted, there appeared to be a hitch in the accounting which credited us instead of deducting our account, however someone from Maximiser called me and had the issue sorted.

Our later transactions also has seen a good level of responsiveness to our satisfaction.

Pretty good auto submitter

I submitted my site to Directory Maximizer around 2 months ago and since then have seen my rankings and traffic boost by quite a significant amount. Directory Maximizer does indeed do a good job of auto submitting. I paid for around 1000 submissions and within a week or two my traffic increased by quite a significant amount. As a result of this, I sold more products on my site and so Directory Maximizer was quite profitable for my business. I would strongly recommend Directory Maximizer to boost your site's overall ranking, as it did a good job of boosting mine. A very reliable and user friendly site!

Good service, seeing results

I have also been using Directory Maximizer but have had nothing but good experience with them.

I've ordered for 1200 submissions till now & have opted for their email handling option.

I am seeing an improvement in my search rankings & an increase in traffic as well. Used others in the past but was not satisfied at all! Directory Maximizer's service is great compared to many others.

Got me rankings for some key terms

I have been a user of the Directory Maximizer service from November 2008. I use them to submit my sites every few months, since they keep updating their directory lists often. I have noticed out of the 3 sites that I submit, for 2 of the sites where I've targeted niche terms in my titles, I've ranked for those terms within a few months. So I guess if you know how to use the service to your advantage you can get the best out of it. There might be a few directories on their list that I don't particularly like, shabby design and stuff, but if the links get me results, then I don't see the harm. The service definitely works, but as I said, do your research on how to get your titles right!

Directories were of very poor quality

I'd signed up for the 100 submissions per month in Feb. 09. I pretty much checked all the directories one by one that they submitted to. I wanted to see if my site had been submitted but also the directory site itself. Well, after a few hundred submissions (about the 4th month or so) the quality of the directories plummeted drastically. They were directory sites that all were the exact same and looked like they had been manufactured on the fly. They had listings from pharm, adult and gambling sites and that's not a neighborhood my site should be in. I had to immediately cancel any further submissions. Perhaps they thought I wasn't checking. So, I'm looking for another submission site and will want to see the directories they'll be submitting to. The sites they were submitting to were totally lame--probably just created before the submission, and probably by them. I don't recommend them except for the first 100 and that's all, if that.

Cheap price for average quality

I used Directory Maximizer for testing purposes only, so I ordered only 100 submissions for $14, however I can't say that I was pleased with service quality. All submissions were made fluently, without a long delay, but I was not satisfied with directories. I hadn't got much traffic from it, and this submission hadn't raised my Google pagerank either. On the other hand, I was happy with their email handling service, as I were able to save my private email from the mass emails from different directories. To sum up, I can't complain about Directory Maximizer service itself - this website owners work fluently and fast, but their directories list definitely needs to be updated, as the results are not good; even the directories with high pagerank hadn't delivered me steady traffic, so I think that some directories could have a fake pagerank.

Got Me Some Traffic

I used this program to submit my blog to for my gpt. It wasn't one of the best sites I have ever joined to get traffic but it worked somewhat. I paid only 14 cents to have my site submitted to the program. It got me a little bit of traffic. I probably got about 5 views a week from this site. This isn't great numbers, but for only 14 cents I really can't complain. I wouldn't recommend putting a lot of money into this program but a couple site submits might get you a few customers, but just don't expect huge numbers. So if you got 14 cents you can throw at this site than ya id say give it a try.
