Disc Mojo Description

Disc Mojo is a company that offers services that involve turning online digital products into physical ones with the belief that they produce more profits and sales. They use DVDs and CDs to turn intangible products into physical ones. In a sense, Disc Mojo takes advantage of the theory that physical products have more perceived value than intangible ones. Because of this, they also have higher conversion rates, which usually translate into more profits. This understanding among a few online marketers has created an advantage that not many sellers pay attention to.

Disc Mojo Detailed Overview

When an online seller wants to use their services, all they have to do is provide the actual product they want transformed. Disc Mojo arranges for everything to be done and converted. They then burn the product on CDs, package them, and ship them to the sellers’ customers. The customers, upon receiving the DVD or CD, now have physical products rather than the intangible ones which are commonly found on the internet (i.e. PDF ebooks).

Disc Mojo sees a great need to provide this solution to many small internet marketers out there. By selling physical DVDs or CDs of products, they aim to increase a seller’s customer base and sales. Another benefit by transforming digital products into physical ones is that it can build a higher perceived value. In addition, having physical products in a way is creating a unique selling proposition (USP) of the seller’s products.

Disc Mojo cites two other competitors who offer similar services on their website and highlights that their services cost lower than the other two. Because the concept of selling physical products in the online world is still gaining momentum, Disc Mojo still has a ways to go before being able to reach their full potential.

Disc Mojo Reputation

It is true that an online seller can create a higher value for a product through creating DVDs and CDs, but the whole process is a little inefficient in many ways. It seems to work for some sellers because they are able to “separate themselves from competition by being able to offer something different". Disc Mojo’s usefulness entirely depends on the seller’s market so anyone who desires to use their service must think thoroughly how it can make their business profitable and if there target market would rather receive a physical product via snail mail or have instant digital delivery.

I would not use Disc Mojo

I joined Disc Mojo because I had received a lot of requests to have physical DVD's and CD's of my product instead of the online version. I came across Disc Mojo and decided to give them a chance. I downloaded the software and entered in my customer's information along with what I needed a DVD or CD of. This was real easy to do. I uploaded all the information to what I thought was Kunaki, the company who was suppose to send the DVD or CD to my customers. Yeah, right.

After weeks went by and my customers were getting angry because they never received the product, I contacted Disc Mojo and was blown off entirely. I never did get a satisfactory answer from them. So I decided to contact Kunaki directly. I contacted them because they were supposed to be the ones that made and delivered my information for me. After speaking with them, I learned something very important.

Disc Mojo never sent in my information to Kunaki, or so they claim. I will have to say that they were just as rude as the people at Disc Mojo. I was not a happy camper. I also had the feeling that I had been taken. I ended up refunding all of my customer's orders and now I just make the DVD's and CD's myself. It is a lot easier and causes less aggravation.

My best advice is that you should stay away from Disc Mojo. They are not legitimate in my book. They took my $27 and did absolutely nothing for me. I would recommend making the DVD's or CD's yourself. I give Disc Mojo a D for the aggravation they have caused me and my customers.

Worthless

I was persuaded to use Disc Mojo by the fact that physical copies sell better than online software, so I signed up and wanted to make physical copies of my new software kit to sell.

I received some orders from customers who wanted to have a physical copy and I forwarded those orders to Disc Mojo. They should deliver those copies to my customers. 'Should' is the keyword here because they never did. My customers complained that they never received a physical copy nor any update on the actual shipping. You can say this is extremely bad publicity for my software, so I contacted Disc Mojo myself asking what the problem was and I got a very rude reply that basically was that they can't help me.

This is the first and also the last time I ever want to use such a service again. At least when I make the copies myself I know for certain that they have been sent!
