Downline Builder Direct Description

Downline Builder Direct is a safelist and referral membership program where members send promotional emails to each other and to their downlines. This program works through a viral system that allows members to recruit others and build downlines to many levels. Members can make direct commissions from these downlines and can send them promotional emails as well.

Downline Builder Direct Detailed Overview

Downline Builder Direct is a referral-based, downline-building program, but unlike other programs in that category, it is not just about directly earning money from your downline. Instead, it is about earning money directly from your downline and indirectly from it through building opt-in lists or gaining referrals for money-making network marketing programs.

When you join the Downline Builder Direct, you have the choice of being in 6 different levels. There is a free level that’s offered, and then there are the bronze, silver, gold, platinum and diamond levels. The higher you go, the more benefits you get.

Downline Builder Direct works as a safelist and as a viral downline builder. First of all, when you join, you get to send promotional emails to other members of the program. How many members you get to email and how often you get to email them depends on your level. Free members can send promotional emails to 200 random members every 15 days. Diamond level members can send to 20,000 random members every two days.

When you refer others to Downline Builder Direct, you earn commissions if they buy into any of the uppers levels. As you refer others to the program and your downline grows, you can choose to send promotional emails to them, or to random program members, whichever number is greater. You can only email random members or your downline through the program, though many creative members recruit others to their own personal opt-in lists with the use of good squeeze page links in their emails.

Downline Builder Direct Reputation

Downline Builder Direct has a reputation for being a solid and honest program, but not necessarily for being a lucrative one. They are fine with paying commissions and answering member questions in a timely manner, but many people end up quitting the program when they don’t see the results they thought they would get. Members don’t have to read the promotional emails that they get through the program, which means a large number of them simply go unread. Creativity in your email subject lines could improve the odds.

Great Program, Great Admin

This is a really good program with outstanding customer service and administrators. You definitely need to use a unique squeeze page and not promote something everyone and their brother and sister is promoting and expect good results. Utilized correctly you can get really good results from Downline Builder Direct. Those who don't get good results don't know how to market with email, PERIOD!

It's a good tool if used correctly

Hey there, I used Downline Builder Direct a couple of years ago for a free blog product I created. DBD was the first site I used for promotions and gained 24 total subscribers over a period of two weeks.

There are a couple of reasons for my success. For one, blogs were a very hot topic at the time and everyone was looking for the latest information. Second, my product was original, so I knew all eyes to see it would be first timers. Last, the product was free and everyone likes free information on a hot and upcoming trend.

Downline Builder Direct helped me to successfully connected with prospects and that is what the tool is meant to do. If the products your promoting lack any of the following criteria (hot/new trend, originality, and value) this program will prove worthless, but so will every other program that is meant to help you build your business...

It looks like the previous comments are from people who expect everything from putting in a little. It takes effort and a smart, tactical, approach to be successful. So don't bash the tool, the wrong business approach will doom you from the beginning. Not everyone can be a successful Internet Marketer, contrary to popular belief...

I get great results

I have used downline builder direct for over a year now, and still continue to receive 1-3 leads a day from using this service, I paid once and never looked back.

It did take a month of testing different subject lines, ad copy and offers before I was able to get that consistency, but it was well worth it.

There's no such thing as a magic bullet and all traffic generators

(that's how you should think of downline builder direct and all other list builders) perform differently and you need to test each and everyone to make sure it suits your business.

You should also employ more than list builders to generate your traffic, there are endless ways to generate traffic and I recommend using has many has you can learn or pay someone to do.

If I relied on the 1-3 leads I get a day from downline builder direct I would starve, but when I employ 100 more traffic streams doing the same or even better, well you get my point.

Scale it up and out, ya know, well hope this helps...

Downline Builder Direct Is A Complete Waste Of Time

I joined Downline Builder Direct several months back based upon a recommendation. This was a huge mistake. I looked over the front page of the site and I guess I was taken in by all the promises. However, after being a member for several months, everything I read on the front page was an outright lie. It is nothing but a hyped up scheme to get a person to join.

After months of sending emails to other members, I only received 17 hits to my site. That is just an amazing fact to comprehend, but it is a reality for me. I still cannot believe that only 17 members have clicked or opened an email I sent from this site out of the thousands I sent. I have changed my subject line so many times that I ran out of ideas. I just cannot understand how I can pay for thousands of emails by upgrading and yet only 17 hits, not unless emails are not sent all the time. I have strongly considered this as a factor in the poor results I got.

I, too, wasted money upgrading on this site and all I can say is that it was money down the drain. I am very disappointed with this site and would recommend everyone to steer clear of this one. I can say that this site does not live up to it's claims and each and every one of them are false. I cannot stress enough to just move on to better sites.

Not Worth Investing, But Worth a Try

Well, im gonna be honest with all of you. I was one of those people a few years ago who thought that with this program I would be able to get more people into my downline with investing money into DownlineBulider. Unfortunately I managed to get 1 person into my downline out of 20000 emails I sent out.

As a few of the other reviews placed below, I can confirm that this site is NOT A SCAM, it's just the matter that when you send so many emails out to random people 99.9% of those people are not gonna read the email and think that it is spam. I myself don't bother with all the emails I receive from people trying to build a downline, the mail goes straight to the trash.

In my opinion what I say is to think of what you would do if you got a ton of these emails sent to you?. Would you spend the time to read it or just delete it?.

Whatever answer you decide is the way you should approach DownlineBuilder.

Too many false comments on this one

Downline Builder Direct is not a scam like many other commentors are saying - they clearly didn't put the effort in, or probably didn't join. Downline Builder Direct is a program for the people beginning to make online money, which usually requires effort and doesn't give a lot.

I joined this program a while ago. Downline Builder Direct supplied me with many emails that I had to send out, both to my referrals and other random people. I had my list and went on with the procedure. However, it was clear that the list built did not have the correct audience as I only had one person who signed up after exactly 10 days. I put a lot of effort into the first ten days and the results weren't promising.

However as time went on, I had to contact support. They gave me different lists and different ads and I managed to rebuild from there. I got what I spent for this program back - that was the first step, then I slowly became better at it. I eventually switched to other programs that would make more money.

Do not waste your time on this

I found the site through a search engine and now I wish that it didn't happen. From the very beginning I thought that the site is quite fishy but I don't know what was wrong with me back then because after all I decided to give it a shot. First of all if you stumble upon the site I suggest you to not believe what is written in it, not a word is true and everything is just false claims. I've used the site for several weeks and for that time I wasn't able to make a dime even though I've referred about ten people to it. Unless you want to waste your time, which I highly doubt, you should stay away from that scam. I expected to get a bit of an exposure but the results were terrible. Spamming people with emails is just not the best way of growing their interest on something. At least I haven't upgraded and had only my time wasted.

Where is my downline?

In my defense, I joined only because it was free. I was smart enough to set up an email account just for this site because immediately after signing in I started receiving a lot of mails. First I thought it was a good thing, but then I realized that no one takes the time to read every piece of mail they get. So I was unlikely to get anyone to click my link and afterward join my program. Still I tried, and I sent out a very nice email. If anyone read it, they didn't bother to check out my site further because my site got no traffic from there.

After my bad experience I researched the internet a little bit and I found a lot of complaints about them. So I just gave up. I abandoned my email address, because the unsubscribe button didn't seem to work and that was it.

You Just Don't Get More Traffic

I figured 200 emails wasn't going to help, so I actually forked out more money and signed up to the Gold level membership. What a complete waste of time and my hard-earned cash! You may send out emails to your downline (once you get people on your list, but the random members just don't even look at the emails, so it is a waste of time really). I sent out one email to 10,000 random members and according to the statistics not ONE person opened the email. Sheesh! Wasted effort. I tried again with three or four different subject lines and certainly did not get better results. Don't waste your cash on this scheme.

Results are poor

Interesting thing is, when Downline Builder Direct launched, some of the most respected internet marketers promoted it saying "It gives you awesome results!".

Well, I don`t know where those guys got their results...

This is how it went: I upgraded my account so I can mail out to 20000 members. I mailed out and I noticed I just wasted almost hundred bucks. I mean out of 20000 members I got only 2 susbcribers.

The main page is hyped up and there are lots of better programs on the internet that actually deliver what they promise.

You can try it out for free so you`ll see the results for yourself but I don`t recommend upgrading.

Avoid Downline Builder Direct

I joined the site just because a friend of mine told me about the Downline Builder Direct. The site seemed to be quite suspicious and it proved my expectations that it is not the right place to expect money. The first thing you will see when opening the site are all those false claims on how awesome the site is. Definitely do not believe them. You will not make a single cent from them. It is just a big time waste. I haven't got any traffic increase at all. People just aren't going to look at those emails, since they look more like a spam. Stay away from Downline Builder Direct or you will risk getting SCAMMED.

Leave it alone

When you enter that site, you see a familiar-looking page. Lots of text and exaggerated promises, everything seems too good to be true. It's supposed to be an amazing opportunity and your profits will skyrocket, you know. I had too much time on my hands and needed some traffic and visitors, so I joined Downline Builder.

I wasted too much time on Downline Builder. No success at all with this boring program. Amount of traffic was basically nothing, and the whole process was kind of spammy with the e-mails, certainly not attractive. I had referred a couple of people there, but they quit too, and I didn't earn anything. I doubt the validity of this program, but maybe the system works for some people, certainly not for me. Patience is the key? Personally I don't recommend this program to anyone.

Pretty lame

I referred a people to this site and never received anything for it! I didn't like Downline builder at all! I thought it was a waste of time. my website never received any hits, and that was the main reason I tried this site out. Downline Builder is not original, not even close! I don't think I will be using this site ever again, there is no point! also the people I refereed never use this site no more, so they must also think it's a waste of time and not be receiving hits. I really cannot think of anything good to say about Downline builder.

Not recommended to anyone.

Pointless Sums It Up

I too tried referring my friends to websites with this program and never received a penny for it; so my guess is this referral money is just a scam, and maybe even a way to generate traffic for downline builders themselves. The worse thing is it always felt like this was doomed to fail when the whole process is ran by email. They are unattractive, and are generally recognized as spam; instant delete. Won't be returning to this site that's for sure...

Not SO Hot!

First of all, I referred a few of my online buddies to this site and never received a dime for it! What referral money is this site referring to? For that reason, I didn't like Downline builder at all! I thought it was a waste of time. My website never got any attention (viewers)and as a marketing newbie, that's really hard for me to accomplish on my own, and that was my reason for me signing up with Downline Builder in the first place. Downline Builder is not original, not even close! They are a long way from getting me to sign up again! Also the friends I referred thought it was a waste of time obviously because they no longer use the site either. How embarrassing! Currently I have nothing good to say about Downline Builder.

Your Headline Would Have to Be ON FIRE to work!

And I mean that literally! This program does start on a good concept, only problem is, there's no incentive to view the e-mails, your main source of promotion. So your headlines would have to jump out of the e-mail and truly slap some people in order to get read. That is if most of the membership hasn't simply directed the e-mails to the junk box.

I tried several different e-mails with several different headlines as a free member of this service. I didn't have the knack to attract any clicks here.
