E-Junkie Description

E-Junkie is an ecommerce solution that helps you sell products online without installing complicated scripts or signing up for expensive merchant accounts. You can sell anything from documents, pictures, ebooks, music, videos, software, and even physical products. They also feature your products in their shopping page to help you get more exposure.

E-Junkie Detailed Overview

There are many ecommerce solutions out there to choose from. But many of them require you to install scripts and you often need to sign up for a merchant account to take payments online. The learning curve is also very steep and requires you to spend days integrating your script with a payment processor, and learn how it works.

I recently found an easy solution called E-Junkie. With E-Junkie you can put a shopping cart on your site without installing anything. All you have to do is add a simple HTML code to your web page. The shopping cart works inside your site (without popups) and works on all browsers.

You can use E-Junkie with Paypal, Google Checkout, and Authorize.Net. The shopping cart also caculates VAT, sales, tax, and shipping cost. All the features can be managed from one central location (from the E-Junkie site) keeping everything organized.

I respect the fact that they allow physical products to be sold unlike their competitors PayLoadz and Clickbank. You can use a fulfillment service with CDs and even manage inventory online. That means if you have limited quantities of items, you won’t have to deal with extra orders coming through when there’s no more product available.

The one huge selling point for me is the fact that there is no bandwidth limit (all downloads are stored on their server), sales limits, transaction fee and transaction limits (other than from the payment processors). It only costs $5 a month to get started and you only pay extra depending on how many different products you want to sell.

In addition, there are great customization features including thank you pages, sales emails, logos, and purchase buttons. This makes your online business look more professional to your customers as it shows that you control the whole process. You can even run promotions with coupon codes or sell product bundles.

With a lot of ecommerce software it’s hard to get the sales data on your products. What I also really found useful about E-Junkie is that you get detailed info on sales and view the transaction data. It can also be integrated with Google Analytics which a lot of webmasters use.

One issue that I’m sure everyone has dealt with is digital pirating. To prevent that, E-Junkie allows you to set download links that expire (can be reenabled if customer loses product). They’ve also introduced a PDF stamping feature in which the buyer’s name, email, and transaction ID is stamped in the top left of each page in a PDF file to discourage file sharing.

To get you more exposure for your products, you can list your products on E-Junkie’s marketplace. This also submits your product to Google’s product search, Google Base, and other feeds. In my opinion, their marketplace doesn’t get you as much exposure as Clickbank or PayLoadz, but it still is a huge plus.

The final feature I want to mention is the affiliate program. It’s so easy to set up and the process is easy for affiliates as well. They can sign up without hassles, grab links, and check their real time sales. There is also a mass pay file you can use with Paypal to pay your affiliates, and refunds are factored into the masspay.txt file you download in E-Junkie. I’m glad a company finally factored in the whole refund issue when working with affiliates.

E-Junkie Reputation

Overall, E-Junkie is one of the best ecommerce services I’ve used. The big plus is that you’re only charged depending on how many products you sell. I’ve used services where I was charged by the service and by the processing company which really ate up my profits. Despite all that I’ve talked about, there are still many extra features here that I didn’t really have a chance to explain.

Best of all, the service gives you everything you need to sell your products effectively. The ease of use is probably my favorite features as you can integrate the shopping cart anywhere, even on your MySpace page. E-Junkie has won numerous awards in well-known magazines and continues to get rave reviews from customers. I highly recommend it if you are selling or planning to sell digital or physical products online.

Hate the name and the layout, love the service

I suppose there are those who consider 'junkie' to be a cutesy-poo name. Our customers do not. Perhaps it's a description of the junky layout of their site. It's pretty awful but, those are the only two negatives I have to say about this company. Their service is flawless and much better than their nearest rivals (rivals who charge MUCH more than e-junkie).

They have proved to be absolutely dependable, adding and removing products could not be more straightforward. We researched these services and e-junkie came out head and shoulders above the rest.

No Compliance Controls for "Sellers" Means You Don't Get Paid

We are a publisher and have blacklisted ejunkie in our business because of the simple reason that anyone we deal with who uses their affiliate platforms has proven to not pay commissions at one time or another.

For people who want to work with us and propose ejunkie we tell them flatly go to clickbank or we can't work with you.

The compliance for sellers is zero - you can't even report their failure to pay. Ejunkie doesn't take it seriously and says it isn't their problem. For an affiliate this means they are useless (no cash, no use) - all the other platforms out there are better.

Not Up To Date!

I gave ejunkie a test for about 3 weeks and decided to make a change. Their site is good, but it lacks many of the features I would expect from today's systems. There was no instant commission built into ejunkie which was a feature I wanted. You can also not do recurring orders which is really disappointing. I decided to change as I did not want to learn this software if I could not do things I needed to do.

Good solution and a great price but

The feature set is a little light and new functionality seems pretty slow...

E. g. , while I happily use the product to sell a couple of hundred e-books, I've sort of been waiting for a cross-selling tool for, well, years. (They used to have this, and say they'll add in the future, but it's been a long wait... )

BTW, if I was grading this product solely on price and ease of use, I'd probably give it an "A". It's pretty slick and simple.

E-junkie is not Junk - it is a gem

I was having a very tough time till I found e-junkie for my e-store solution. If you have a download-able product e-junkie is a must-have product at a down to earth cost.

When I started with my first e-book, I was so skeptical about the sales and I didn't want to spend more money for an e-store where I can sell my products and track it. E-junkie came on my way to help with an economical subscription model where you just pay 5 $ per month and you can store up to 10 products in your store. It will take care of shopping cart, payments buttons, tracking the orders etc.

Another cool feature is we can setup affiliate sales for our products and also you can promote other e-junkie customer's products from the market place. It also gives a good visibility for your products in the market place.

A decent affiliate network

I joined this site as an affiliate, and I must say it is a pretty accurate affiliate tracker. I mainly joined this site, as it has a lot of programs you can join to be an affiliate of. The problem with his site is it is very hard to get a report of your earnings globally, as each one is individually reported.

Awesome place to sell e-books

It's been about 4 months since I used e-junkie to sell my e-books, and the result is awesome.

From 3 e-books that I sold I got a nice bucks there. I believe the beginner will not have a problem and they will just need some time to learn how to use e-junkie.

E-junkie also has many positive feedback from many sites. In e-junkie all that I do is just make my product, in this case an e-book in Administration tabs, then set the product specs and price and I was offering my button code and simply copy and paste it on my website, or ebay or myspace. Very easy and simple.

Another thing I like from e-junkie is the price. It is only $5 each month and if you want to try there is a one week free trial.

The last thing I like from e-junkie is their referral program that makes me increase more bucks when my referral's product sold.

All I can say is this E-junkie is a great place for you to sell ebooks and other downloadable products.

For selling when you can't

If your like me then you know it's hard to sell your ebook and have a life. It's either sell the ebook all day or have a life all day but be broke. Well e-junkie fixes that, with e-junkie you simply upload your ebook and set the price along with what you want to say when someone purchases your ebook. And they automate the rest. With their simple setup they allow you to have a life and still make money at the same time. And that is why e-junkie is my top favorite automated ebook seller.

Great for ebook writers

For recreational purposes I review ebooks on a forum that I'm a part of. E-Junkie is by far the best product if you are an E-Book seller. It allows the customer to pay for the ebook then to get a secure download link with no risk of the ebook being exploited and leaked all over the place. It is really a great service for the small price you pay for it. I have seen so many people use it and have great success. I for one love their service and am to renew my membership next month (Just renewed it today).

E-Junkie.. Just Great!

It has been about 5 months that I have been using e-junkie to make sales for my products. I was able to sell tangible goods as well as some downloadable products through e-junkie. Though it was a pretty rough start for me in the beginning as a beginner, I was able to increase my sales to about 25% gradually with the help of the excellent customer support that they have. I like the pop-up cart window feature which allows the customer to continue to shop without leaving the website while shopping. Creation and management of the discount promotional codes is easy in e-junkie. E-junkie is just great with a lot of features for the pretty low price for which it is being offered.

E-Junkie rules,

I'm having great success with selling my website templates with E-junkie.

E-junkie is so easy to set up and is very flexible and for the price they charge it is a great service. I highly recommend it for anyone who wants to sell digital, and to some degree, tangible products.

Great place to sell

It was around four months back when I stumbled upon E-Junkie. I thought that this will be a good way to gain more exposure to my products and also sell more through that platform. So I joined in because the price wasn't that high and I am glad I did, since I was able to achieve pretty good results. I really found out why the site was receiving so much positive feedback. Actually the first few times of using the product, I had some problems and not everything was clear to me but after several days of practice I was able to get the hang of it. I believe that beginners also won't have problems and they will just need some time to learn how exactly to use E-Junkie. Great thing about the product is the great customer service I received. The team was really made of professionals and I got fast replies to my questions which were explained in detail. So after some time of using the shopping cart I started gently increasing sales and now I am making around 20% of my sales through E-Junkie. A great addition was the referral system. I was able to draw quite some people to join in and was able to earn decent money from them. So overall E-Junkie is a great selling system and I am highly recommending it. You can also make good money from the referrals system alone. Worth trying out and an A grade from me.

Simple ecommerce alternative

I used E-Junkie before I knew how to set up my own e-commerce shop. Around then, I didn't have a whole lot of money to spend and I needed a service that was well within my budget. E-Junkie was only $5 a month, this was a steal for me. When I first visited the website and registered, I almost immediately got the hang of how the system worked. It was very simple. All I had to do was create the products I wanted in the administration tab, set the product specs and prices, and I was off to receiving my button code. Not only do they give you the option to sell digital products, but you can also sell a few physical items as well, like CDs that can be sent in the mail. If you are new to e-commerce, I recommend that you use E-Junkie to start off at. It's a low cost alternative and you don't have to install anything special in order for it to work.

I had great experience with the service

I found the product being recommended quite some times in different internet discussion boards. I was in need of a something similar and I decided to try E-Junkie out and see how well it will perform. Definitely when I first saw the program I was a bit confused and everything seemed a bit hard to me, but fortunately that was just at the beginning. The site support was there to help and it really did - I've got straight to the point answers which were really helpful. Understanding the basics really made the process easy. Right away I started to use the shopping cart and to date I have made quite some sales. The reseller program was also a great addition, since you can earn good money just by promoting the service and finding people to sign up. E-Junkie is definitely a service I would recommend when it comes to selling products.

One good and Helpful Tool

I used this to sell my products. At first I thought that it was just one of those post and wait for buyer websites but I was definitely wrong.

I signed up for the free trial for a week and was surprised to see that people are definitely buying my products and shopping is indeed made easy with this. What I liked about this is that it has it's shopping cart feature and PayPal support.

I've been using this tool for like months now and I am still planning to use it for quite some time to sell my shirts online. I'm giving it a B for a job well done.

Tool that gives me one less thing to worry about

I have had some trouble getting good results with my ecommerce products. After using E-Junkie, I began improving on the percent of sales for my main ebook on myspace marketing. E-Junkie was very reliable and never had a problem with the service. It was very easy to set up, just in a few minutes, pasting the HTML code, I was up and ready. I love tools that act as a personal assistant, doing the hard work for you, and saving you time and money. It weeds through your orders, verifies, and sends payments. EJunkie was surprisingly cheap and gave me no reason to look elsewhere for my ecommerce problems.

A tool that you can depend upon

This is the current ecommerce solution that I am using right now to sell my eBook. It’s almost 4 months now and I did not face even a single issue with it till now. Very reliable and compact. All you have to do is just add a simple HTML source code to your website and you are good to go. It hardly takes even 10 minutes to setup. Apart from that this is like a personal account assistant to you. It will handle everything from verifying the user payments to transferring the money to your account. However I recently faced a small issue where my browser was constantly crashing (IE8) and customer support promptly helped me with their solution and I was good to go in just 4 hours. If you want a web solution which will completely automate your payments, great functionality and very cheap, then look no further. This is a must have tool. I personally use it and I absolutely recommend it.

Good for beginners

This is a great service but unfortunately the lack of flexibility brings it down a notch. And my biggest issue with it is that it is hard/impossible to edit the template at some points. That being said, the service itself is great and completely idiot proof. I have been selling e-books online for a while now using this service, however I am thinking of switching to another CMS.

Tool's a tool not more not less,

I joined E-Junkie lately and found the site's concept brilliant. It is not just another clickbank clone, which is pricey. I found E-Junkie affordable and they store your digital products and you can sleep on it, paid directly to your Paypal. With clickbank you have to buy your own domains and bla blah. But a tools a tool, it's the artist that has the power to reshape their product so it can be sold like hotcakes! It's getting easier with E-Jukie, they have already managed good networks.

Pretty good

A friend told me about this site and how easy everything was for her. So I decided to give them a try. At first I didn't really know what I was doing, but with help from her and the customer service at e- junkie, I started to understand everything. I have never used anything like this before and I have to say that it was pretty easy. Everything was broken down for me, and before I knew it I was using the shopping cart. I have had 2 sales since using the cart and I have to say it was very accurate. I have joined their reseller program as well, where all I have to do is promote the site and when someone signs up I get around 20% of their subscription payments each month. I haven't earned from that yet, but I'm still promoting. This site is legit and I would recommend others to check them out.

Easy Shopping Cart Option

E-Junkie is great if you need to set up a quick shopping cart and don't have much technical know how. Recently I implemented this for a client. The pros are that it's quick to set up, I modified a customers existing cart in about an hour with the pre supplied button code, you can also add your own custom buttons. The admin is great because it makes setting up products, discount codes, and shipping extremely easy that even the most non-tech savvy person could figure it out. Also the ability to have the auto redirect to a thank you page when trying to track sales conversions is a huge plus. The cons I have are not even all that bad. The actual "view cart" screen is currently not customizable, however I see in many places that they are working on making that happen. Really the only other thing was the email that it generates when a sale is made is kind of a messy looking text format, could be cleaned up a bit.

Overall this is a great and simple cost effective cart solution.

Pays instantly

I joined E-Junkie as an affiliate when I was setting up my blog that I got from Blogging To The Bank (BTTB). Rob Benwell has a review of the product that I posted in my blog. After changing the code I forgot about it. Two months later, I got an email saying I made a sale. A couple of days later, I received the payment from my paypal. I was so ecstatic.

E-junkie has lots of product for affiliates small and big time. From ebooks to softwares, CDs to t-shirts to Blackberry themes, there is practically anything for anyone to sell. It was a little bit confusing when I first arrived in the site, but after sometime I found my way around. Like clickbank and other affiliate market places, it's free to join and choosing a product is also very simple.

Works for me. Cheap to use. Hardly any problems

I joined E-Junkie over a year ago. I liked the fact that you could test out the service for a week before deciding whether to part with your money or not. I took advantage of that and after the trial expired, I signed up for the $5-a-month offer which allowed me to upload up to 10 products. There is an option to upgrade so you can upload more items, but for what I do, I've never felt a need to do that. 10 items with 50mb storage space at $5 a month suits my needs just fine.

I found the monthly payment subscription easy to set up (I pay via Paypal) and the subsequent ebooks I uploaded pretty straightforward to get up and running (I have 2 ebooks on there at the moment).

There were some parts of E-Junkie that I found a bit confusing to use (for e. g., setting up an affiliate program for my ebooks), but I eventually got the hang of it. Apart from that, I've had no problems with the site - is pretty easy to use, does what it says on the tin.
