Grade GoDaddy ...

GoDaddy is one of the largest domain registrars in the United States. The company was founded by CEO Bob Parsons in 1997. They now offer other services such as web hosting, site building tools and SSL certificates. The company is known for its wide variety of features for webmasters and affordable packages.
Over the last few years, GoDaddy has become very well-known through their outrageous SuperBowl ads and commercials with celebrity racers Danica Patrick and Dale Earnhardt Jr. With that in mind, it may be hard for businesses and webmasters to take the company seriously for domain names and web hosting. But does GoDaddy really deliver a great service?
Let’s find out by first talking about GoDaddy’s domain registration service. When you are registering a domain name, you are offered many different packages such as adding .info, .net, and others into the shopping cart. This is a great way to save money and make sure you secure your domain name and brand so other people don’t grab it.
The cost for a domain is $9.99 which can be higher than other registration services. But GoDaddy almost always offers coupon discounts which you can find by searching through Google. You’ll be able to reduce the price of their domain registration fees down to around $7. You can also get discounts by registering your domain for longer periods of time.
The whole setup process is smooth, but I found their interface very hard to work with. It is disorganized, and the site itself has way too many things going on which can be really confusing. You will, however, figure things out as you get used to using their service. I also found that the interface will require you use different browsers like Firefox to function well because Internet Explorer has problems sometimes.
I like the fact that they remind you that your domain is about to expire, and that they do it multiple times. I had other registrars either email me only once or didn’t notify me at all. GoDaddy also offer cheap domain transfer fees, private domain registration, copy protection and other features which are shown as you go through the purchase.
One negative thing that many marketers have complained about is GoDaddy’s strict spam regulations. If the company finds that you have received spam complaints from an email subscriber, they will shut down your domain until everything is cleared up. Obviously, if you’re doing product launches or massive email marketing campaigns, this can be a problem. You should opt for another domain registrar if this fits your situation, as your domain being blocked can really screw up your campaign.
GoDaddy’s customer service is top-notch. They offer 24/7 customer service, and their staff is well trained. The staff is very professional, and they do their best to help you out with any kind of technical issues. They were also very patient and didn’t make a stressful problem worse by having a negative attitude or tone.
While their domain registration service is excellent, I can’t say the same for their web hosting. Their hosting is incredibly cheap at $4.99 for their economy plan. The problem with their hosting is that they use their own webpanel to manage your site rather than the industry CPanel. Their webpanel has fewer features and is less organized than CPanel.
Another problem is that their servers are slow which can provide a slow experience for your visitors and also take longer to upload simple files. Their customer support also has problems dealing with hosting issues – I think they haven’t been trained comprehensively with web hosting. They have higher than average uptime figures, but you have to remind yourself that isn’t the answer to all problems.
Overall, GoDaddy is one of the most reliable domain registrars. I have used various registrars over the years, but I found GoDaddy had the best combination of price, reliability and customer service. Setting up a domain and getting the name servers updated with my hosting company was easy and took only a couple of minutes. The company also offers various domain packages so you can snap up .net, .biz, .info, .us and other extensions at a cheaper price.
If you’re looking for a hosting solution, you should look elsewhere. GoDaddy is still relatively new to the hosting business and need to improve their servers, quality and customer service related to hosting. While the hosting service is one of the cheapest you’ll find, it’s important to pay a little more and get the best hosting you possibly can for your business.

What I think of GoDaddy What I think of GoDaddy is that this web hosting website is, as the kids today call it, "the bomb". I wanted to get a domain name for my website and I tried every other website, their services were either too pricey, or just plain horrible. I turned to GoDaddy, and I've never looked back on the decision. GoDaddy provided me with an excellent domain choice, and a very good price for it. This is why I'm giving GoDaddy an A++!

There is better hosting out there GoDaddy has cheap domain registration and has some sales gimmicks to get you hooked. I would say that this is the most mainstream hosting service out there, but it most certainly is not the best. Their customer service I found to just be ok and did not help me to the extent that I required. Their hosting service was more than what I wanted. Better hosting exists, but this one does work well. |

GoDaddy is the greatest host I have registered almost all my domains and hosted websites on GoDaddy. They provide awesome service with lightning fast hosting and amazing prices. The customer service is quicker than anything I've even seen before. I sent them a letter regarding a payment to them and they literally responded within a few minutes. GoDaddy is surely the best choice for any website owner that anyone could ever imagine. Everyone should try it out because it's the best. |

Godaddy Service is just Awesome I have been using Godaddy as a domain registrar since July. They are awesome. I have had a bad experience with another registrar like taking too much time to update nameservers or dns zones etc. But after moving to godaddy it's all become smooth. Thank you godaddy for such a fantastic work |

Great site for domain purchase I`m sure everyone knows godaddy by now, but if you haven't and you just started looking into a website, this would be the first place to go. They have great discount promo codes to buy your domain name for $3 dollars! You should always do this, and when it comes time to re-new. |

GoDaddy - Awesome Why all marketer (like me) love GoDaddy. I have had a lot of experience with GoDaddy, GoDaddy always gives special coupons every month and every event. Last black friday I could buy a domain for only $1.99 and this month (December 2012) I can buy 10 only $0.99 each. But GoDaddy not supported for Paypal payment, only Credit Card.

Godaddy is worth a try All my domains that I have ever bought is from godaddy and if tomorrow I have to buy another one, I would still choose godaddy. Buying a domain with godaddy is always a good experience, fast checkout and your domain name is already booked for you and it is not available to anyone. Godaddy has also got a good team. Once I contacted them and I got a reply within 30 minutes. Since I have used it and I never encountered any problem I am giving it a B. |

Godaddy is awesome! Use it on a regular basis I have had a lot of experience with GoDaddy, registered about 10 domains so far. They are always having promotions/coupon offers for domains as little as $0.99! I would highly suggest them to anyone looking for a cheap domain registrar. If you happen to come across the need for a domain, go to GoDaddy!

Best priced domains available I use Godaddy for all my domain purchases. Previously I had a bad experience with Registerfly, cheapest registrar at the time who went out of business. Once I used their hosting and there were certain simple things that "couldn't" be done on their hosting site, so I'm no fan of the hosting. I'm also not very pleased at how many sales they are trying to make when you just want to make a simple purchase. Their ethics are a bit questionable though if just looking at the way that females are portrayed and used as sex symbols. |

GoDaddy! Simply, Simple! Go Daddy, is one of the best domain registrars in the world, though it's a relatively new service, many people would rather use this service because of how easy it is to setup and how fast it is. Many people can argue that because it's new it yet doesn't have that great of a system, but trust me, I know many people who would've rather used this system instead of the old and messed up ones you can find out there. From the Start you know Go Daddy is a trust-able site! It's got great privacy settings, and it teaches you step by step how you can start your site, if you don't know! Go Daddy has been a great successful company, and I'm sure that with the years the company will continue to grow and expand. So if your looking for a Domain Registrar look no further Go Daddy is simply the best! |

Hosting Sucks GoDaddy hosting sucks. I wanted to use a script that required Zend, which is free and they would not install it on the server. There is no downside to installing it. So I then decided to cancel because they would not help me. Canceling was very, very hard. They would not allow me to cancel. They kept making me fill out forms and then saying I did not fill it out right so they still would not cancel. Never want to deal with them again. |

Great interface for me, others aren't liking it I was surprised to see negative reviews about the interface. In my mind, the mind of a programmer, the interface is the best part of the website. Call me crazy, but it makes perfect sense to me. Feature set and price and both outstanding, but it might be harder to get started with this one.

Hosting Service is not Good I tried GoDaddy hosting and boy was that a mistake. I did not like the control panel, so that was the first thing. I wanted a cpanel hosting system. So I decided to cancel. Canceling was a huge pain. They would not cancel my account. They kept saying I did not fill out the cancel forms right and would not terminate my account. Finally I threatened them with the FTC and other scam sites if they would not cancel the account. That finally got the job done, but it was a huge pain.

Great features I heard about GoDaddy.com about 5 years ago when I wanted to start my own personal website for my art. Many of my friends tried GoDaddy and told me about the great pricing for the domain, so I decided to give it a try. It was very easy to set up everything since I was a beginner, so I liked that. So if you are a beginner or an expert, and you're looking for a good service, check out GoDaddy.com.

A pain to work with. I tried godaddy to set up a basic, single page website. An online resume, if you will. All they wanted to do was charge me more and more for things that should have been included in the base fee, not to mention having to jump through hoops just to upload files! I cancelled within a day and moved to a different host with a much easier to use control panel. Almost every other host I've come across has been better in some way or another, and almost all of them better value for the money.

Not too shabby Not bad, but not the best. I have never had any troubles with their customer service, and they have always had competitive prices if you take the time to look around for a promo code. I like the reliability. They could hire a designer and make a new parking page though. That thing is ugly. I haven't used it in years, but I remember their site builder and template section being kind of weak and lame. I give it a B. Not the best, but certainly not the worst. |

Go Daddy is a winner I started with go daddy about 9 years ago and when I needed to know about the domain registry, they had no problems in helping me. I have had domain transfers and they have been completed in less then 24 hours. Customer support is always there to help when you call. I have sold domains, and the new owner has never had any problems with the transfer to their new account. When I have set up a new domain and hosting with go daddy it has been very fast in being able for others to view. |

My likes and dislikes Not much to dislike, unless I can mention the checkout process. By the time I got through I had purchased some services I did not need. But I called them and the awesome customer service kicks in. Since it was something refundable {something other than a domain registration} they did it with no sweat. I even told them that their slick website "got me" and then I told them it was a sign of excellent design, but a little too good. We had a great laugh. Just pay attention if you buy a .me top level domain {TLD} because the SMART SPACE package may find it's way on to your order! Do not worry at all about such an occurrence, they will fix it up. I actually tried the smart space {because one of the GoDaddy girls had one, of course} and I TOTALLY recommend it! I guess you could say that I really like GoDaddy!

A Safe Bet GoDaddy offers excellent pricing and customer service. You'd be hard pressed to find another provider that would exceed them in both. Great place to consider when starting a website for the first time. I opened a site with them and never had any problems. Everything ran smoothly. If I ever need another website, they'll definitely be my first stop.

Great for Newbie Just Starting I found GoDaddy to be wonderful. I was just starting a small business and needed a website to refer potential customers to - But I had no clue as to where to buy a domain, or how, or how to create my site. GoDaddy was cheap and easy. When I didn't understand, the customer service was great in walking me through things. It took me longer to figure out what to put on my site than it did to get it up and running. The multiple notifications that it was time to renew was great too. Again - if you are clueless but need a web presence, a great company to use.

GoDaddy. com GoDaddy.com is an alright site. I have my web domain under them. Their site is always easy to use and very professional. Although some of the e-books and stuff they sell do not look very promising, many of them look like winners. I have recently purchased one of the e-books, and I am about halfway through it. It is a very good book! I would recommend this site to pretty much anyone.

Great Site I had to register a domain name for my online store. I found using GoDaddy to be a pleasurable experience and after shopping around a little, I found them to be the cheapest domain names around. They really simplified the process especially for people who aren't particularly tech savvy like me. I would definitely recommend GoDaddy and use their site again.

GoDaddy is my Favorite I joined GoDaddy when I was creating my first Website and noticed that it was very confusing and overwhelming at first, but I do think it is one of the best ways to get accommodated with the real world about having a site and everything. It is surely cheap and a good reliable source. I learned to like the interface after using it for awhile, and it has some key features that many other places don't. To me, it is pretty much the "google" of the hosting and domain business.

It does what it says I have been using Godaddy for years now. My domains automatically renew when they say they will, and I get the emails letting me know ahead of time when they are going to renew. There are a LOT of sites like this out there, but Godaddy has been around for a long time. They aren't going anywhere. So, I just tend to stick with them. Are they the best? Hard to say. But, they offer when they say they will, the sites is pretty easy to use and they are always offering deals for new members or for people that want to add new domains to their account. |

GoDaddy Web Hosting I had once purchased a domain along with webhosting from GoDaddy.com. The customer service is great, and the site is easy to understand. I would definitely recommended GoDaddy.com to an individual who just so happens to be a first-time buyer, looking for quality web hosting. I would recommended this web hosting service to anyone. and I would do more business with them in the near future.

If you have or need If you have or need a cheap blog or mini site then Godaddy is definitely the site to get your domain and publish your site with, the premium hosting being what I would call "dirt cheap" and the domains being very cheap as well Godaddy is definitely the go to for your budget web publicist. Since they are relatively new to the web hosting industry I would wait until they improve upon the other services they provide but overall great customer support they were very helpful with helping me get my wordpress blogs up. One annoying thing though - I believe they outsource for your mysql database because it was buggy setting up my word press blogs which is why I needed the help getting them to work. |

After a few years gone... I think that GoDaddy is a great site. I used it a few years ago, and was impressed with the customer service, and how easy it was to set up my website. After a few years away from the internet, I came back, and just recently set up another website with GoDaddy. I only paid $7 for the year, so still a great price, and I was pleasantly surprised when I got a phone call asking me how everything was going with my website and if I had any questions. I did have some questions that I had written down, and the lady that called was very helpful and informative. I also just got 20% off on a web site package deal! Highly Recommended by me!

A great choice in domain registration I use GoDaddy along with 3 other domain service providers for my clients websites. Of the 4 domain service companies I use, I'd say GoDaddy is the best. They have great customer service and their additional tools such as SSL certs and site building tools are a nice added bonus. If you're after file hosting, I'd recommend looking elsewhere as there are cheaper companies offering better packages for file hosting at the moment, but for domain registration and basic domain tools, GoDaddy is excellent.

A familiar hosting service Go Daddy hosting is pretty solid and can be considered as one of the largest web hosting company today, because it offer good domain names, great performance and prices. Go daddy is also good both for small or big business hosting. I had a good experience with their customer support, they process my request in minutes and are very knowledgeable. |

I've been dealing with them for 4 years, and they're always willing and ready to help, when and if needed. Not only do they offer a great domain name service, but their hosting is inexpensive and awesome as well. They rank very high in my book! I even recommended them to my friends, and my friends love them as well. They will explain any and everything to you whether you're a newbie or otherwise. |

GoDaddy isn't for everyone... My mother uses this service as just a way to list all her auctions on one home page which she in turns sends out in her invoices from Amazon and Ebay. She likes it I think because it is really, really cheap. It's less than $10 a year for just a basic site. However, I tried this site for an entire year. I must say, they were really good about letting me know when my domain expired. There's no way I could have missed it unless I had shut my computer off for about a month, which is highly unlikely! I liked it all except I had a little trouble with the WYSIWYG attribute. Perhaps I am just used to a different format, but it seemed a bit "choppy". Keep in mind this was about 2 years ago, so maybe some improvements have been made by GoDaddy. I would recommend it for someone who just wants a nice, simple site to start and doesn't mind taking the time to build it up. It really does have some neat features. |

GoDaddy Works for Me I've been using GoDaddy for my domain services since June of last year, and so far there isn't a thing to complain about! The domains are cheap, the back office is easy to navigate and use. Also, the two times that I did need a little extra help, when I called the customer service line, I wasn't kept on hold forever, and the person I spoke to didn't have a thick accent! All A+s for GoDaddy!

Established, Reputable and Affordable I have been with GoDaddy for almost two years now. I am confident that my internet property is in good hands. The customer support is helpful and prompt should members every have a problem or enquiry. It isn't out of character for GoDaddy to go the extra mile. The domain names are super affordable and potential customers can be confident that they are buying their domain through a company that has been online long enough to build a solid and positive reputation. I am constantly updated with frequent specials, that make the GoDaddy services cost almost next to nothing! Inside the membership area, GoDaddy is set up to do business and is ready to host your next website with them at an affordable rate. I highly recommend GoDaddy for your next domain name. You can easily park your domain or forward it to another hosting company with ease. The FAQ contains in depth help files. I have never had a problem with GoDaddy. I have never had to contact support about any problems with my account whatsoever. |

I love Indy Racing I think GoDaddy was pretty smart using the advertising of Indy Race car Driver Danica Patrick! Well, that got me to their site in the first place. After checking and finding a domain I liked, I searched for a discount coupon and found one easily. I saved a few bucks their too. The back-office for the free website builder is really pretty good. I was a little clumsy at first, only because I was new at it. But I got a handle on it and really have control now. I don't like the advertising at the top of the screen, but I know that's just me being cheap again. Overall, with the $7 price I paid and Danica, I am satisfied! |

Godaddy is great! Godaddy is great for buying domains easily and cheaply. The webhosting is also cheap. Their services are very reliable and they have good support. They are the best place to buy and design a website. It does not take any special skills to create a website with them. Anyone looking for website hosting has to give Godaddy a try.

Absolutely great! I bought a domain and a host which I've been using for around 2 months from godaddy and I must say that I'm really satisfied with my hosting plan which was incredibly cheap. The support was great over there. I had some problems with my site and as I'm not very good around computers. So I felt really satisfied after they answered all of my somewhat "stupid" questions and helped me get my site as I wanted it. Now my site is running just great! The only "bad" things are those banners and toolbars, but hey, for that price it's worth it. I'm really happy I picked this over my other alternatives, and I will stick around with them for a good while. I would highly recommend this if you're looking for a cheap hosting with great stability and support. |

GoDaddy is Awesome! The support is great, the prices are very much in line with the current market. The wait times are very low for everything involved with the site, not to mention the advertising it does is second to none.

Depends what you need I suppose... I needed cheap and easy hosting just for a year or two, so this proved to be perfect for me. However, I can understand the concern people might have with aspects such as the toolbar and banners. These were mere annoyances for me. Just consider it a result of their pricing! Let's face it, you're not going to find this service for any cheaper anywhere!

Free is still ok
Yes that banner is a pain for certain templates for blogs and especially word press blogs. That banner messes up all my word press blogs and a CSS code is NOT legal to get rid of their free advertisement banner (at least that is the idea I've gotten from some Technology forums) but even then, the premium service is cheap and VERY affordable (only less than 7 bucks a month), so really my suggestion is only use the free hosting for a domain that you are not using or perhaps something that won't get screwed up by that tacky banner.

One of the best hosting sites When I signed up, I was very surprised on how much I got in return. I learned the basics on how the web works. This site also has great customer service. When I was getting started, there was nothing better than talking to a live PERSON, and not just reading a lot of information. I have 2 domains right now and am looking forward to setting up some more with GoDaddy. You really won't get a better deal than this one, and I wouldn't pass it up.

GO Daddy GO My personal experience with GoDaddy has been nothing short of fantastic. Mr. Bob Parsons is the perfect example of achievement; his thinking outside the box has created great success both for himself and his business. The company is very professionally operated by it's staff and has assisted me several times with some issues I had on a misspelled domain name that I registered with them and they simply corrected it for me and I was up and running that same day. You have to love Bob’s witty sense of humor and his chromatic charm he posses. Yeah, he’s quite the guy always surrounding himself with attractive women and having a blast while he’s at work. We all wish we had a job like this... I think I'm... Jealous. Yes, the perfect example of achievement, finding work in a field that one loves that sustains and provides ones needs. He has my utmost respect and I wish him well. Go Daddy Go! Take Care, Chuck T

You Get What you Paid For Godaddy boasts the cheapest prices on the internet. I paid for the most basic services, purchasing free hosting, limited space, and no templates- for only 15 dollars for two years. I found the service to be quite exceptional, with a worker calling me to make sure I was well only a day after my purchase! However, I soon realized the bad side of such a cheap price- GoDaddy posted a huge banner going across the whole screen, saying "this page is hosted free by GoDaddy". There is a CSS code to get rid of the advertisement, but I'm not sure if it's legal or not. |

Good product, great customer service I would say that this is one of the best sites that I can recommend to those looking for the right domain registrar and web hosting service. It's my favorite site in buying domain names and they always have discount offer. One good thing, when I encountered problem in Domain forwarding, the customer service was really great, and they gave me full support to solve the problem. They make you feel that the customer is the #1 priority to them by sending you reminders and offers and great message like the Happy 4th of July Celebration, it's awesome. Way to go.. Go Daddy...

Overall, a great deal I have 4 different domain names with GoDaddy.com. They were easy to search and find the names I wanted. ( depending on availability ) The free full edition site builder can be published and used for one whole year for approximately $7 ( with coupon ).. and that's hard to beat. If your site is successful, you can pay to remove the advertisements at the top and grow from there. The Customer Service will answer the phone and speak "clear" English! |

Great support I have used GoDaddy.com for all my domain names and have had a great experience with the company to this point. Their domains are very reasonable, and they have great support. Occasionally they offer specials on domain where you can save as much as 30%. You will need a special promo code. I usually get these offers via my email. I would recommend GoDaddy. |

What I think of GoDaddy is that this web hosting website is, as the kids today call it, "the bomb".
GoDaddy has cheap domain registration and has some sales gimmicks to get you hooked. I would say that this is the most mainstream hosting service out there, but it most certainly is not the best.
All my domains that I have ever bought is from godaddy and if tomorrow I have to buy another one, I would still choose godaddy.
GoDaddy hosting sucks. I wanted to use a script that required Zend, which is free and they would not install it on the server. There is no downside to installing it. So I then decided to cancel because they would not help me.

I recently began using GoDaddy for my websites. So far, they have been really helpful although the transfers took 5 days to complete. I even had a phone call from them asking if I understood everything. That was a complete surprise and made me much more confident in using their services.
