Service Description
GotSafelist is a credit based safelist with MORE. It was created by marketers Kristian Huynh, Amy Luu, and Scottie Wilcoxson when they felt that the safelists they belonged to didn't give them everything they wanted. They decided to take safelists to the extreme and packed it with a lot of features you can't find anywhere else.
Detailed Overview
GotSafelist is 100% free (though you do get better benefits when you upgrade). They state that they guarantee readers and traffic. I don't know if GUARANTEE is the correct word to use, but the members do have reason to be responsive to ads they receive. With GotSafelist, you can get credit based safelist advertising through both emails and desktop advertising. With over 40,000 members there are a lot of people available to receive your information. You are also able to send out your emails and place your desktop ads daily as long as you have available credits.
Some of the more unique features include cash clicks (you open an email or desktop ad and instead of mailing credits or banner impressions you make money, granted it is only .002 - .003 cents each but it can add up). They have a cash for credits program where you can trade your excess credits in for cold hard cash. The current exchange rates are 0.000018750 cents per credit for pro members and 0.0000150 cents per credit for free members. Another feature is their GOT Lotto. With GOT Lotto, they place lottery tickets in hotlinks at the top of emails. Find one and you have the chance of winning 1,000,000 credits. You can use these to advertise or trade them in for cash.
As with every program, upgrading does get you more features and benefits. As a free member, you are only allowed to send to 2500 members regardless of how many credits you may have. With the pro levels you are able to send to more members, download more resources, save more ads, and save more hotlinks (hotlinks are urls for your sites, you don't have to enter your url information every time you send an email). They currently have three pro levels, bronze membership costs $7.99 a month and allows you to mail to 6000 members each day, silver membership costs $14.95 per month and allows you to mail to 10,000 members each day, and gold membership costs $19.95 per month and allows you to mail to 15,000 member each day.
Reputation
People seem to really enjoy this safelist; it is an interesting site to go to. But, some people do find the back office confusing to use. You do have to look around a lot to understand exactly what everything is and how to use it. One of the major complaints I found is the number of members you can email with a free membership. But, other than those two minor points, most people feel this a highly effective safelist and enjoyable to use.
Domain "Whois"
The Whois information for a website lists the owner and their contact information. The Whois information for "GOT Safelist" is public which is generally a good thing. This indicates the owner of this site has nothing to hide.

Fairly Good for a Safelist
I have been using gotsafelist for a few years now, and I have mixed feelings about it. I have tried other safelists, and I can say that gotsafelist is the only safelist that I still use. You can send an email out to 2500 other members if you are a free member (more if you are a premium), but not very many people end up opening up your email and reading it. With my experience only a few dozen will actually click on your link, and it hasn't resulted in any conversions for me. I would suggest gotsafelist more for site promotion in order to make people aware of your site and not for selling. As well, gotsafelist is good for promoting a website which pays you for page views, in which case you wouldn't care for anything other than the page view. As well, because your site is viewed within the gotsafelist website, people don't know the url of your website, unless you post it in the body of the email. Because of this, it's hard for people to revisit your website. Gotsafelist works for some people and I would suggest you try it out and see for yourself if it suits your needs.

This Is A Great Safelist
I have been a member of Got Safelist for a while now and I can say I really like it. Every day, I know I'm not bombarded with other members emails. I do receive quite a few but nothing major. The site is real easy to navigate and I like that I can send both a safelist ad and a desktop ad. These two combined are real powerful.
I also like that I can earn cash with this as well. On one of my credit emails, I actually hit the cash jackpot which provided my account with $24 in one email. I was stoked. Even though payout is $50, that credit email right there got me halfway to the mark.
I have also noticed a very high rate of conversions from my ads that I send out. The credit link in each email is directed to the hotlink that you set up with that ad on the site itself. The exposure is great and I feel everyone can benefit from this safelist.
I would recommend it to everyone. It is free to join, free to send daily ads and best of all the more emails you click the better chance you have of winning lots of banner credits and cash, not to mention the credits that add up quickly. This is an awesome site and has worked excellent for me.

Can't say it's the best safelist
My main problem with this site is that your ads will get exposure because people get an incentive, points, to click on your ad. This definitely gets you more clicks than the average safelist, but the points system usually means that everyone is only focused on trying to get credits for themselves. It's already a huge positive that you need two different addresses to make sure the solo ads go to the one that you use, so who needs points? So far these points haven't helped me in conversions at all. Also, the visitors aren't as frequent.

I guarantee you'll make money with this, but I REALLY want to because it's that good! You can most definitely make as LITTLE as $20 into your Paypal within two hours!

An Actually Professional Safe List
From all the safe lists that I use, I think this one is what I would actually call "professional". Their script seems to be unique and built up from scratch (unlike other safe list services that use the same script/template system). They also use their own artwork/graphics instead of the repetitive graphics that the other safe lists use. However, their navigation is rather complicated and still annoying to me to this date, but only when I want to do something new. But logging in and sending your ad(s) just requires a few easy clicks and the site is fast and responsive.
I really like how they also credit you with real cash. Downside is that their payout is really high. I check every single email they send me (I know I'm crazy), and I earn about a dollar biweekly. If my calculations are correct, that's about $2 a month, $24 a year... So to get to the payout of $50 you'd need to check every single email for more than 2 years. Crazy, no?
I'm a free member, and one important good thing to note as well about GOT Safelist is that you can send your ad at any time of the day without worrying if you did it exactly 24 hours ago. Smart Safelist, for example, is incredibly annoying when you get the message that you have to wait exactly 24 hours of your last sent ad to send another ad on the next day. That's VERY ANNOYING. They even count the last seconds! I'm not kidding...
I rate this with an A, because out of the 5 safe lists that I use, I think this one is the best out of all of them.

Top of the line
I joined months ago and can honestly say it's in my top 3 of safelists. Since they are credit based and also have thousands of active members, your ads have a greater chance of being read.
They also offer cash incentives in their hotlinks so you never know if you're getting credits or cash until you actually click the hotlink. You get the choice of using yours credits toward advertisements or you can convert them to cash. The support you receive from them is great too, you actually get a response that is helpful and you don't have to wait forever for it either. I recommend this site to anyone that has advertising needs.

It gets the job done!
I have been using this safelist for a few months now and I am satisfied with it. I like the fact that you can e-mail a lot of people at once with a free membership and so more eyes can see what you are trying to advertise! I like the way they use their 10 second timer when you are viewing the ads of the members. I love the solo e-mails that I receive because they have a lot more credits attached to their HotLinks. This is the first safelist that I joined and I am content with that. I have joined a few after and this is one of the better ones!

One of the better safelist
I've been a member for a couple years. I still occasionally use them. I would have to say that they have one of the best back office set ups for members than several other well know safelist sites.
The one thing that I really like about the site, and many may not think or realize this when they join, is that you get access to a very nice free download library of ebooks and resources to help you in your internet marketing efforts. GOT Safelist is worth joining as a free member just to get access to this info that other people try to sell in other programs on the net.

Takes a while to get there
I've been a member of GOT Safelist for quite some time now. Due to time restraints, I do not click on very many of their ads, which is why it is taking a long time for me to reach cashout. But, believe me, there are PLENTY of ads to go through each day! I highly suggest you use an email account that will allow you to filter these messages into a specific folder, and has a huge capacity (I use gmail) or it will fill up your inbox in a very short time. One thing that is nice is they frequently have a few emails that have a much higher value. Another nice feature of the site is that it allows you to set up 2 separate emails. One of them will get the high value emails only so that you can see those without having to go through several hundred other emails looking for them, and then the other gets the majority of emails.
A big plus for this site as opposed to other PTC sites is that I have never had a virus concern from them. And, when I have had questions, their support team has been quick to respond with the answer. That says a great deal right there!
I have not reached a cash out level, but I am getting close and I am anxious to see if they really do pay.

Very good safelist
I belong to many safelists and I can honestly say this is one of the top 3 that I belong to. I never get spammed by too many emails at a time and I get quite a bit of traffic to my site through Got Safelist. You get a lot of free credits when you sign up so that is a good thing. They also "force" people to read your emails and click on your links by giving people credits for opening links. The email editor is also nice. You can use html, and it's easy to edit your posts and save it. This is a good thing, and with the right kind of emails, you can really boost your opt ins. I suggest you promote a free product to make people opt in.

Decent site
I think that GOT Safelist is a decent site, especially since you can join as a free member. I like the fact that the credits that I earn can be used how I want to use them. I can use them to send traffic over to my own website. Better yet I can convert it into cash, which I love! Plus the site guarantees ad readers!

Be safe and earn
I signed up as a FREE member on this site and so far I am receiving a good traffic from them. The site allows me to advertise my blog through emails. I like this for a fact that members receiving emails should be responsive or else they would not gain some credits.
When I signed up I instantly receive 10,000 credits. I referred some friend and from each I got 2,500 credits. I think for now I will remain as a free member. I am quite happy with what I receive and what I earn as free member of the site.
Just a reminder, though, if you are planning to join the site, they do not accept Yahoo mail. According to the site, Yahoo mail does not receive emails from them. If you are planning to join them, make sure you will not use your Yahoo mail account.

Best Safe List I Have Found Yet
As far as safe lists go, I think that this one is the best. It offers so much more than most safelists do, and that is a great added bonus.
I have not had any conversions yet, but I know that there are people who are seeing my ads. Part of my lack of conversions could easily be that I just recently joined the site.
At this time, I have not upgraded; I am only a free member. One disadvantage of being a free member and not an upgraded member is that I can only send out a limited number emails. I really like the other aspects of the site; I can even make a little money there for clicking! The rate is quite low, but in time, it all adds up. Overall, I think that this safelist is a great one and I plan to upgrade as soon as I get my first sale from my ads.
