Hexatrack Description

Hexatrack is a web-based PPC research and conversion tracking application. The premise behind Hexatrack is that to increase your odds of success as a pay per click advertiser, it makes more sense to copy what others are already doing then it is to take a chance on unproven idea. Hexatrack was originally developed by super affiliate Amish Shah to help him with his own pay per click marketing efforts. After seeing considerable success with his own campaigns he released Hexatrack to the public in 2008.

Hexatrack Detailed Overview

Paid search marketing is more competitive than ever and are only getting more so with each passing day. Affiliate marketers are becoming much more sophisticated with their advertising strategies, and if you are a beginner then this can put you at a great disadvantage. For someone in this situation, a tool like Hexatrack can help to increase the odds that your next pay per click campaign will be a successful one. In this short review, we will take a look at how Hexatrack works and help you decide if it is something that is right for you.

What is Hexatrack and how does it work?

Hexatrack is an integrated subscription-based application that is specifically designed to help pay per click marketers uncover opportunities that exist in niches they are considering advertising in. Hexatrack serves two primary functions which are as follows:

  • Keyword Spying.

At the heart of the Hexatrack system is keyword spying. The basic idea behind this is that you enter a group of keywords into the application and then it will return to you a wide array of helpful information. For example, suppose you are considering entering the debt consolidation market. Using Hexatrack, you enter in the keywords which you believe are most relevant for the topic of debt consolidation and then Hexatrack will go to work.

Over a period of a few days, Hexatrack will monitor any Google advertisements that are being displayed for the keyword you have entered into the system. Additionally, it will return to you all ad variations, ad placements and the number of days a campaign has been running. The basic concept here is that if a campaign has been running for a long time, it is likely to be profitable and therefore a good candidate for mimicking. In this way, you save time and money by knowing if a niche is profitable before ever entering it!
  • Conversion Tracking.

As with other pay per click tracking platforms, Hexatrack also offers the ability to do conversion tracking. Ask anyone who has been doing pay per click marketing for some time about the importance of conversion tracking. The likely response you will get is that to be successful as a pay per click marketer, conversion tracking is something that you must implement.

Unlike other tracking platforms however, Hexatrack offers additional features beyond just the tracking of keywords, including things like click fraud detection (via IP addresses), referral information and time stamping. Hexatrack conversion links are compatible with many of the major affiliate networks and they are continually adding more as their membership requires.

In closing, using a tool like Hexatrack can be very valuable if you are a beginning affiliate marketer who is having trouble coming up with profitable ideas for niches. However, with a setup fee of $197 and a monthly subscription price of $147, it can be out of reach for most beginning affiliate marketers. If you're just getting your feet wet, consider utilizing a free tool such as Tracking 202, which while not being able to perform any of these spying functions found in Hexatrack, would still be a suitable alternative.

Hexatrack Reputation

Hexatrack was developed by seven-figure super affiliate Amish Shah for use in his own pay per click campaigns. Amish is well-respected within the affiliate marketing community and his tools have been used and recommended by such pay per click marketing luminaries as Gauher Chaudry and Amit Mehta for use by their students in Pay Per Click Formula and Pay Per Click Classroom, respectively.

Easy to use conversion tracking tool

I registered to Hexatrack because I needed a tool for my PPC (pay per click) campaigns statistics and Hexatrack was offering a free membership. I must say that I really liked working with it. Despite the fact, that I were using almost 100 of different PPC keywords, I was able to see a simple statistics, which really helped me to optimize my Google Adwords campaigns. Moreover, a ''Keyword Profitability Score'', which was provided by Hexatrack worked very well and made my optimization job even easier. On the other hand, I felt very ''limited'' when I was using my free membership. Conversions tracking limitations for this type of membership is really too strict and it is hard (or even impossible) to work, if you are using many different PPC campaigns, however ''Professional'' membership limitations are more reasonable, but, due to it's high price ($197) I hadn't ordered it and stayed with free membership. To sum up, I can say that Hexatrack is one of the best free tools for PPC advertising, which you can find on the internet, but it have many limitation, which can only be removed by subscribing a ''Professional'' membership, which is very expensive.

Not for everyone

I became a member of Amish's Hexatrack after hearing positive reviews and recommendations from other super affiliates like Gauher Chaudhry. I must confess their keyword research and tracking facilities are top notch . The only negative is that the product is a little too pricey and unless you have a huge number of campaigns, you can use other tools which are much cheaper than Hexatrack.

Amish is probably the most powerful PPC to CPA marketer. So his tools are top notch and if you feel problems in handling the volumes of your PPC camaigns then Hexatrack can manage them for you.
