Histats Description
Histats is a free website statistics service created and run by internet marketer Francesco Vigotti. This program allows website owners to track not only how many visitors they are getting, but information on which pages are being visited and where visitors are coming from. The service provides statistic logs so that website owners can make comparisons that will help with marketing campaigns.
Histats Detailed Overview
Histats is, first and foremost, a website traffic counter. Website traffic counters are easy enough to get, almost always free, and involve putting simple HTML code on your website. What this program offers, however, goes way beyond simply counting how many visits that you get to your website.
When you register with Histats, you get code to put on your website that will install a hit counter, but you also get your own statistics page within the program itself. This statistics page will show you such things as how many visitors you’ve gotten in the last month as well as the last hour. Of course, you can only go back as far as when you registered with the program and installed the hit counter.
It isn’t enough for internet marketers to know how many visitors they’ve gotten at any given time. They need to know how many of these visitors were unique (first time) and why those people came to the website. Histats provides this information, as well as information on where those visitors came from, such as if they came in through a backlink or through a PPC ad. You can also find out what actual geographical location your visitors came from; the program does this by catching IP addresses.
With Histats, you can find out what page of your website visitors first came to, and what page they were on when they left. Though this may not seem immediately relevant to a lot of people, for marketers it can actually help them modify their websites to make them more appealing.

Histats Reputation
Feedback on Histats seems to depend on who you talk to. Most internet marketers who use it find it to be a helpful service, and the price certainly is right. Other marketers, usually those who are making significant incomes online through their websites, say that it doesn’t provide enough statistical data for their purposes. For all that it offers for free, though, even those who don’t use it say that it can be a handy tool for beginning and intermediate internet marketers.

Good free stats service This is free and it's good. It does what they say it does and it's very helpful in seeing and analyzing the traffic to your sites. It really helps you to see if traffic picked up after an on page seo change or adding videos or new content or whatever. Free and good. What more do you need to know? |

Histats is great I like Histats because it's free and very very easy to use. I was able to quickly set it up and add it to my website. What's really good about it, is that it's free, no payments required at all. It's very useful no matter what kind of website you run. Histats provides very quality information with almost real time feeds and there are also many things that you can see about your page, visitors, where they came from etc. I recommend you to try this out, it is definitely an A++ service. |

Thanks Histats Histats is great, especially for being completely free. Histats helped me see where my traffic and viewers are coming from and where I could use more traffic from. It's extremely helpful, I'd recommend this no matter what kind of site your run because whats better than seeing where your traffic is coming from. Histats - Online Your Visitor Histats is the best traffic counter I have ever used. I can track visitors online with detailed information, like which pages are being visited and where visitors are coming from. With Histats I can find out what page of my website visitors first came, and what page they were on when they left. I left Google Analytics and use Histats because of this feature. You must try if you are a blogger.

That Cool try Histats If you got a site and you need to know the number of visitors I think Histats is just for you. You get so much help from this program for free. Try Histats! You won`t be disappointed. Histats is the best traffic counter. I use it on my site and I can assure you that there is no other tool like Histats to provide you such detailed information. Good source of demographics  Just register at histats.com and add your websites to the histats website add option. Then you have to select a counter, which there are plenty to choose from, select according to your look and feel. The location feature has helped me find my target market easily. The graphs and data are shown clearly. This an all round Great product. I love it!

If only it was free Now, many would look at this site and mention that it could be better. Well of course it could. While it provides a great deal of knowledge and data on your target audience, it lacks something that quite a few other programs of this type have. The fact that you have to pay for it. It doesn't take too long to search online and you will find what is essentially the same product for little more than a finger click. A shame really. However, I cannot put any fault on the product itself other than the price. It does exactly what you would like it to do, monitor the viewers on your website. And it does the job at a very satisfactory level.

Histats - useful, but not necessarily worth the money  I'm going to be honest - Histats is a great program that provides all the data you would want to target your viewers properly, and get the most out of your website. /But/ there are hundreds of similar products like histats for free. So although it's a fantastic product that I've tried myself, I'd rather skip the payment and go with one of the free alternatives.

Histats - a nice tool to check your website stats Histats is a wonderful website service which gives you up to the time live statistics of your website. Just register at histats.com and add your websites to the histats website add option. Then you have to select a counter, which there are plenty to choose from, select according to your look and feel. You also have an option to choose from text-based, flash based counters. Further you can also choose from 2 line , 3 line, 4 line counters too. After your counter selection you get a java/html code which you must paste into your website. Now you can get detailed stats of your website live. Histats is a great statistical tool and a website.

Very useful tool This tool is very awesome. I use Histats at my blog, so I can view the statistics of my blog. With histats I can monitor how many visitors have been viewing my blog. And the widget they have is very interesting, there is a few widgets that we can choose, and it is very easy to put in my blog, and the best thing is we use it for free. So if you want to monitor the traffic of your blog or website try to use these very useful tools. |

Great records I use Histats for all my sites and it helps me keep track of whats going on and how my sites are doing. I also use those graphs and stats to show to potential customers on my sales pages. This is a great record keeper for any internet marketing business. The interface is user friendly and easy to use. Another feature that I love on the site is the location feature. It shows you the location of potential customers that visited your site. The location feature has helped me find my target market easily. The graphs and data are shown clearly. This an all round Great product. I love it!

It's a free tool. What else do you want! Used this for a short period of time and was satisfied with it's services. There are better products than this in the market which may not be free but I suggest you give it a try. It has many features as said in the review. The geographic location of the user based on IP tracking is a marvel but I feel that the data shown sometimes is of poor quality and the page load is relatively less. For beginners it's great to to get the hang of the user behavior etc. I prefer google analytics over this. For a free tool it's a wonder, but doesn't meet my expectations. I give it a B. |

Awesome Service for Webmasters I found it really great for webmasters. I have used it for the last 2 months and found it really great with it's features: referral, tracking of stats, etc.. Moreover in the control panel, we have the features to add sub-accounts. Another thing that I like with Histats is that it's free and gives graphical representation of reports. On my first discussion board, I have used it just by pasting it's HTML code, and got the information where visitors came from and in which month total of visitors is biggest. According to me, I would request users to use it for their new websites. |

Good for being free but not the best What I love of Histats is that they provide a log of the last 20000 users. Their reports are poor, but we know that "is the best" for new webmasters, you have to waste too much time in the web site for finding the report that you need. I am not using Histats anymore, I continue using statcounter.com, the free account is limited to 500 pageloads but they provide quality. I suggest you to use Google Analytics and Statcounter both are great, they provide all the information that a business needs. |

An easy Web tool for Webpublishers I have used this service and found it a reliable and efficient web counter for a web developer. It gives a variety of options to keep track of your visitors in real time. A simple HTML code is given to put on to your web page any where you want. You will also get to know about your unique visitors, where they came from and where they go and in which month how many visitors came to your site.

Free and A++ I switched to Histats (from mystat. hu) a while ago, and I can tell this is one of the best online website statistics service. And it's totally free! It has many different style of counters to choose for your website. And unlike Google Analytics it's easy to follow and install. Other useful things are I can track my visitors' IP address, and I can easily find out what keywords and search engines did my visitors use. Also, I can check the origin of my hits, so I can decide where to advertise. And they make records of all these. I recommend this to everyone who owns a site! |

Histats.com is great Just love this web site. The whole stats are very easy to manage and the graphs are great. The best thing is that, unlike Google Analytics, it is real time and very detailed - from country all the way to screen resolution. Amazing product! I have been using Histats for a long time and I can say that it is a great product! Some friends told me about it and I’m very thankful to them because this is one of the best tracking systems for visitors I have had the chance to stumble upon. I use it to track the visitors or to find out who is online in my forum and also in my website. If someone wants to know who is in his website or where is he coming from, that’s the right product to do the job. It’s so simple and fast, nothing short of amazing! Now I can see all of my visitors and am able find out where exactly they are at each moment. I highly recommended this product to anyone who needs a counter program for his sites.

One of the best I’ve been using Histats for a while now, and I can say that it’s great. This tool was very useful for my website. It’s really easy to use you just need to install it and get to work. And of course if you run into some problem, the forum members will help you they are really friendly and reply very fast. One of the best things about Histats is that it’s totally free to use. By using this service I improved my website very much. I was aware of what are my customers interests were so I could make my site more attractive to them. The best hit counter Last year I was looking for a good hit counter, and I found this. I have a website and blog, both have a hit counter from Histats. It's really good, you can find all sorts of information about who visits your site, from which search they used. It has graphs that show the traffic of your website and how many new people have visited your website. I recommend it for all types of websites as it gives you a lot needed information. And the best of all, it's totally free! |

Definitely Organizes your blogs and websites Histats not only makes you highly efficient and organized, but gives the information one needs to make important decisions of whether to update a blog/website or change a particular aspect that is either not getting any attention or in the opposite situation and you want to emphasize it more. I really enjoyed the in depth reports and information that came to me about my blog and websites which really made me realize that some parts were highly popular while others were not being visited at all! I immediately made a few informed decisions and the result was more web traffic to both my transformed blog and websites and more money in the bank! I would criticize the price of Histats though, it's not cheap. Highly recommended nonetheless!

Works best on blogs I love Hitstats! I signed up for it to track the number of visitors that came to my blog. The best thing about it is that it is completely free. I don't have to spend a penny to use it. Also the good thing about Hitstats is that it shows me exactly what people like to visit the most. Because of that I am able to focus more on that particular part of my blog.

One of the best out there I have been using this program for about a year or more, I use it to track visitors for my blog and my websites. It has a very detailed visitor list including ip, date, country, referrer url, browser, platform even screen resolution! It also offers high quality animated counters. Definitely one of the best analytical programs, and it's completely free.

Histats Works! Histats has saved me from going through hours of research. When I created my website, I would get a lot of traffic, but I wouldn't know what aspects and pages the visitors were attracted to most. With Histats, I can track what people visit, and can now concentrate on updating other parts of the website, so they also get as much traffic.

Pretty Good! I signed up with Histats because I noticed one of the blogs I was reading was using Histats which featured "users online" and "todays page views". I thought it was pretty impressive because some other stat counters do not feature this at all. Just page views per day. The best thing about Histats is that you can view in REAL TIME and it sorts out your visitors in groups from location, visitor language, internet connection and speed. It is pretty accurate. And also it tracks how many minutes the visitor is logged onto your site. The little button seems to always refresh so you can see if there are visitors on your page at the same time. I am pretty happy with this because you can change the color and you can choose your own unique button counter to suit your website. You can choose a text counter or an image counter. You can also choose what features on the counter like "page views" / "users online"/ "visits today" or "pages viewed". I think it is neat, tidy and has a modern feel to it. The best thing is that it is free! You don't have to pay for real good service! |

Use on my blog I use this on my blog. It works great, the stats seem to be live, but it does have some issues. Sometimes it seems that the users online and the total users do not get updated all day, like if they get stuck. It does not happen all the time, but once in a while. Overall, I love it. All of the nice counters are great too. I personally use the 1 line counter, with users online and total pages today with total pages rotating. It's simple to use and simple to install.

Best hit counter ever Histats is way better than every hit counter I've tried, it's fast to "install" - actually you just register and put the HTML code they give you to your webpage. It's easy to use, it has a lot of statistics - browser, OS, location, even screen resolution (it isn't really useful, but it is interesting), that helped me realize how I'm managing with the traffic. Another good thing is that it only counts unique visits, and can even exclude my IP, so I get realistic info. The shiny hit counters attract the attention of people, but I think the "invisible" hit counter is better, and only I can see the statistics. |

Free and Best The best thin about this service is that it is free. I registered for this site for my blog just to keep track on how many really do visit my site. I discovered that aside from this simple function there is a lot in store for HiStats. It has different designs for it's counters from a simple counter to a animated colorful counter. I can also keep an eye for my audience for my counter provides me stats on the location of my visitors which is a big help for me so I know where to improve or where to focus. This is certainly a big help for bloggers or web owners like me. Definitely I'm giving it an A! |

Best Hit Counter I use this on my website to track my hits, it is way better than the other hit counters out there. It has many attractive hit counters to pick from which can also show where my hits are coming from. It also does not count fake traffic, like page refreshes, only unique hits, so if you visit your website/blog regularly, you know that you've only added 1 hit from your ip address which makes the traffic accurate.

The Best Widget Ever I’m currently having two warez sites and I get like about 500+ uniques a day. But I never knew how many visitors are online at the moment when I’m at the site and from where they are coming. So thanks to Hi-Stats it has made my life easier, now I can keep track of my visitors from where they are coming, what they like most, on what content they are clicking the most and how many are online at that particular moment. Now I can change my website content according to my visitor’s choice so I can get more traffic on my site. It is simply an awesome tool. You got nothing to lose at all.

Hi-stats "Hi Five" This is the best widget tool I have ever used. It keep tracks of all website pages. Shows where the users are coming from most and what content they view more. I had very good experience with it and after knowing what content the visitors like the most I have changed a lot my websites contents. Now I received more visitors then before.

Pretty good counter Despite not having many different statistical analysis and graphs like google analytic and statcounter, Histats counters look great! You have many options to pick for your counter, text, inanimate or animate. It can display stuff like how many users are currently online, page view, visits, page view today, etc... Overall it's a great counter. I use this for both my web site and blog, it work great. Easy to set up. Recommend for anyone who need a counter for their sites. |

As a free program, Histats serves it's purpose very well! I use multiple stat counters on my blog to make sure I cover as much ground as I can in regard to obtaining information about my visitors. Some stat counters are better than others in accuracy and Histats is definitely one of them. My favorite feature is the chart representation of your website/blog hits over a period of time. With the charts, it is easy to see what days bring in more traffic than others, which is very useful to me. This feature helps me know when I should publish posts on my blog that will actually be read by a good number of visitors. If you are looking for an easy to interpret stats counter program with lots of features for free members, I highly suggest this program. |

Histats is Very Accurate! My 7 blogs have the Histats counters on them. I have tried other traffic counters, however, I found Histats to be really accurate when it comes to blog traffic reports. I like the fact that they offer many counter designs. As a blogger, I can choose the design that will blend well with my blogsite. The counter itself gives you a preview of the traffic stats. It also shows how many people are online on my blog at that very moment. I have one account with Histats. There's actually no need to make separate accounts for each blog. Just choose the "Add a Website" feature and you can have all your blogs in one account. This makes things less complicated. The best thing about it? With all it's great features, it's absolutely free. |

Histats works great for blogs I have used Histats for my blog for awhile now. If you want to know how many visitors you have on your site, then I suggest Histats. You can also see where your visitors are located. If you have any questions, the support team is there to help you. They have a lot of counters to choose from so you can choose one that fits your blog well. They are very accurate and I have never had a problem with them. If you own a website or blog and need a great visitor counter, then may I suggest you use Histats, you will not be disappointed. Works great and easy to install! |

Histats is excellent! I use Histats for my blogs and enables me to analyze which blog is doing best. Like Google Analytics it is also an important tool that a blogger must have. The only difference between Histats and Analytics is that in Histats you will get live data of blog/site visitors. It also provides useful information like sources of referrers to my blogs and browsers/geolocation of visitors. I have been using Histats for more than one year and very satisfied with Histats service. It is absolutely free to use(registration is required) and installation is very easy. Just paste the HTML code in the place where you would like to display the counter. There are many different colourful counters that can be used and they can be modified according to your requirements. Another biggest advantge of Histats counter is that users can include unlimited blogs/sites in an account. I use Histats for ten blogs. Try this excellent product. |

Free Stats for your website! Web stats will always be a publisher's best friend. And I love Histats because it is very easy to navigate, has lots of templates to choose from and most of all, it is FREE! I get to customize my settings for my stats and it gives me an idea how my site is faring.

Ay-May-Zing! Once you enter the site, you are greeted by an amazing and delicately designed home page. When you do register, or login, you are greeted by an easy to install HTML code that you just pop into your webpage. Instantly, you can receive your results in great graphs. Especially, since you don't have to PAY for this kind of amazing service. It's free. Absolutely, positively free. However, you can only assign one site per account. That is a little downside, however. But anyways, amazing service and place to get your stats.

Histats is an essential! I’ve been using Histats with my blog for almost two months, and it’s the first stat counter I’ve ever used. I absolutely love the quality and details of the stats they give! This is a very useful tool for anyone with a blog or website, and especially for beginners. I found it extremely easy to install and use; but if you have any trouble, the forum members are friendly and helpful. I had a question once, and it was fully answered within an hour. What more could you ask for? This is a free service that does everything you need it to, and it doesn’t even display ads. I would definitely recommend Histats to anyone who needs this type of service.

I used Histats as a back up The website I was using actually had a hit counter, It would keep up with not only my traffic but my visitors location and where they came from. The only issue I was having with my website's statistics was that it wasn't all that accurate. So I put Histats on my website as a back up. Histats is so reliable, I don't even look at my websites traffic report any longer. I received stats for all my pages. But the thing that has kept me using Histats is that they gave me detailed information on my visitors. I'm talking right down to their screen size! Histats is amazing and worth the time to implement into your website. I recommend it to anyone who has a website. |

Pretty good After trying out other sites that offer the same type of service that Histats offers, I have decided to stick with Histats. I like the fact that they have a very active forum where you can talk about different things with other members. When I first started using Histats I found out a lot of helpful information to improve my site. I knew exactly what my visitors were interested in the most and what part of my site that they had no interest in. I have since closed down my site, for reasons beyond my control, but I am currently working on a blog that I will be using Histats on. So I will know what interests my visitors the most to help make my blog a success.

Not Just Another Free Product I, in all my time researching free products, have never come across something so amazing as this Histats. It is the perfect counter for my blog and I am so glad that I have it placed on there. Now I am able to know where all my visitors are coming from. This is great information to know for advertising purposes. I just log into my account and all the information I need about my visitors is there. I was also able to install a counter that matches my blog perfectly. I am very happy with this product and would advise everyone to get this counter on their website or blog. You won't be disappointed.

The only stat counter I use on my blogs I use Histats (the free version) for tracking traffic of a website and two blogs of mine. It is just awesome. I agree with Luvikavi, this site provides various images, you can choose to display traffic information on your website or blog. It lets you display up to five kinds of stats: total page views, total visitors, page views today, visitors today and the number of people online. The code is written in JavaScript (not HTML). It can be a drawback, as it can only track visitors who enable JavaScript on their browsers. I have a Joomla website which has a built-in stat counter module. When I tried to enable both counters, they showed different results. While the module indicated that there were eight users online, Histats counter detected only one user online. |

Every Blogger Should Have It Every blog that I manage has this Histats counter. It has been very helpful for me since it allows me to keep gauged of my traffic. And as many of us may know, a good traffic translates to good earnings in whatever money making program we are members of. I also like the fact that you can choose from a wide array of counter designs to complement your blog template. I highly recommend this to every blogger out there.

One of my favorite traffic tracker sites I use a few traffic tracker codes on my blog, and Histats falls somewhere in my top 3. I love this service because it so creatively lets me display my visitors, pages, pages today, and people online. When you get on the website there are a ton of different images you can use to display your blog traffic information, and you can even do an animated version. I picked the animated t.v. because that blended in well with my website. I know that you can even paste in an invisible code if you don't want others to see your traffic info. One thing that impressed me about the site was when I signed up, they actually asked me what count I wanted to start out at. Meaning, if I already knew what my traffic was so far, I could enter that in and start from there. It's given me the most accurate traffic and the information always updates itself on my page. Best of all is you are not forced to put some tacky picture/animation to display this. They have many neat stat counter designs to choose from. If you want a great way to track your traffic, Histats is the best way to go! |

Histats is the best! I've used Histats on many of my sites for several years now and am very pleased with this free service. Histats makes it so easy to install and the amount of real-time stats they provide for us are amazing!@Yuuki and all: You may add more than one site using the same email address. I have it on 35 of my sites using the same email (just added another one this morning). When you've logged in and are at your Control Panel just click "Add a website" it will take you to a page where you can add your site URL, title and description. |

Best Counter out there! Looking for a unique counter that gives you a reliable statistics? Histats is the best out there because the graphics and designs are awesome for a free website. What I like the most about this site is that even if you don't log in, you have a choice to show public your stats or log on to see it. For me, I use the show public stats. Highly recommended site for counter. |

Very Good Service I currently use Hitstats counter on my website. I like Hitstats because they are accurate, and I also love the design choices on what type of counter you want to place on your site. So far this works well, I can log in and view my site stats and info on who was there and where they came from. If you use Hitstats on your site, the results will surprise you as they did me. I got so much information on my visitors and where they came from. There isn't anything I don't like about this site. After all, it's a free to use service, and perhaps the only one that I'd recommend. Give this a try! |
