Hosting Zoom is a web hosting company that was founded in 2004 and is based in Houston, Texas. The company offers everything from web design, shared web hosting, reseller accounts, dedicated servers, and SSL certificates. The company stresses power, speed, and reliability that make their service stand out from other hosting provders.
Hosting Zoom is a hosting company that has received great reviews for providing a solid service for webmasters. I decided check out the company and try to figure out if they deliver on the points of support, uptime, and features that would make it a reliable web hosting solution.
Their servers consist of a strong network that consists of Intel, Cisco, and Juniper. They are using linux and supply their customers with cPanel to manage their sites (my preferred control panel platform). The servers support SSH, Perl, Python, CGI, SSI, Frontpage Extensions, and PHP4/5.
Their plans start at $10.95 a month with no setup fee which is normal for many web hosting companies. The longer you stay with them the cheaper it gets. If you sign up for 6 months it goes down to $8.95 a month, $7.95 a month for 12 months, $6.95 for 24 months, and $4.95 for 36 months.
What I like about their plans is that it includes unlimited sub domains, email accounts, FTP accounts, and MySQL databases. The plans come with 50,000 MB in storage space, 500 GB in bandwidth, and you can host up to 20 domains with the plan. This is not as good as other hosts that provide unlimited storage, bandwidth, and domains, but their service is very fast.
Their uptime figures are really high and they have a system where if one of their servers goes down, it automatically gets rerouted to another server. They have many datacenters across the US so you can feel safe that your site will not go down. The customer support is strong too. They offer great tutorials, 24/7 support with live chat, as well as a toll free number you can call.
Hosting Zoom may not offer a great unlimited plan compared to other hosting companies. However, if your site doesn’t get that much traffic and you don’t need much storage then this is a solid web host. The uptime, customer support, and speed are very strong and are above average when you compare it to other companies. The service has received great reviews from customers and I can give it a strong recommendation.

Zoomhost has changed! Worse! I used to be with zoomhost.com with one of my old websites, and everything was smooth, I payed for 2 years and have checked back on my old website and it is unbelievably slow! They must be overloading their dedicated servers to the max! The service used to be remarkable! But a couple of days ago I tried ringing and I received no answer and no message bank! It is impossible to get a hold of zoomhost, they are only going downhill from here! Overall: used to be fantastic hosting, but they have overloaded their dedicated servers to the point where everything is slow, or sometimes even unresponsive! Rating: C Thanks Tom Archibald |

Worst webhosting experience I have been working in the web design field for a while and when I had problems with my last web-hosting provider I went searching for a new one. I found HostingZoom and thought I would try out the one-month service for around $10. This had to of been the worst experience with a domain provider I have ever encountered. My site was constantly down and when I tried to call customer support I could never talk to an actual person. When I tried emailing them I never got a response after two weeks of waiting. The worst part is I have to wait for this service to run out until I can launch my site from another domain host because my site files are locked in with them and currently I can’t access them because their server has been down. I strongly recommend you do not affiliate with HostingZoon as it will turn out to be an experience of complications and headaches.

Disgrace to Web Hosting First of all, let's talk about their servers. ninety five percent of the time they are not working, and that five percent that they are working they are terribly slow. When you try to contact them through their "live help" (what a joke), no one is ever there. When you try to call, no answer. You try to email? takes at least 3 days for a response, and they spend so much time apologizing they don't even answer your question! For the $10.95 a month there are tons more better options! I give this product an F because there are countless other web hosts that offer better service for the same or lesser price. Don't waste your time here. |

Terrible service This site doesn't take any responsibility for their actions or my problems. First of all, you can't get in contact with them through simple means like calling them. Calling will never work. As for emailing, they respond with an either poor answer or they never answer back after "Thank you for your patience". Their servers, in particularly their dedicated servers, used to be very good, but now it's horrible. It's speed and service keeps going down and you have to monitor it yourself to get it going. While this all happens, I am losing money, so don't go for this site, it's not good anymore.
