Service Description
Created by Internet marketers Thomas Sheets and Russell Westwood, My Traffic Zone is a traffic exchange program designed to help people get their websites seen and their emails read by the right people. The program has different levels; the first level being free and subsequent higher levels costing graduated monthly fees. What level you are on, of course, determines the benefits that you will get from My Traffic Zone, but Sheets and Russell claim there are benefits to every level, even the free one.
Detailed Overview
Thomas Sheets and Russell Westwood based their traffic exchange program, My Traffic Zone, on the theory that exchange programs are an effective way to get traffic to your website and subsequently buyers for your products. As well as increasing your profits, they also claim that you can build email lists through traffic exchange programs, which can give you a steady source of customers to market your products to.
Many people downplay traffic exchange programs as ineffective. They claim that to get enough traffic, you either have to pay a continual monthly fee or click on other people’s websites for long periods of time. Not only this, but they say that the only people who will actually be seeing your websites are other people in the traffic exchange program. So how do Sheets and Russell say that My Traffic Zone is different enough to make it effective?
The My Traffic Zone exchange program does offer you credits for surfing the sites of other people in the program, but it also offers more than this. You get marketing tools, information on how to build a downline, more credits than average for your surfing efforts and the ability to email your downline on a regular basis. With each level up in My Traffic Zone, you get more chances to market to other people, and if you are smart enough about your marketing, you should be able to see some results for your efforts, even if only other members will see your websites.
Reputation
As far as traffic exchange programs go, My Traffic Zone is reported as one of the better ones. The program is easy to learn and follow, the people who run it do go to great lengths to make it as beneficial as possible, and a decent percentage of people who join stay with it. Some people simply don’t believe in traffic exchange programs at all, but for those who are willing to give it a try, My Traffic Zone is often recommended.
Domain "Whois"
The Whois information for a website lists the owner and their contact information. The Whois information for "My Traffic Zone" is public which is generally a good thing. This indicates the owner of this site has nothing to hide.

Not my favorite
I didn't really see or have anything jump out at me with this. It did however give me credits and gain some traffic to my site (not a lot, like %5 increase) But with those extra %5 they left after about 2 minutes of being there. As well, the most annoying thing with this are "Hover Ads", my pet peeve. They are annoying, useless, and drive traffic away, just like it did with me. Overall, this gave me one positive of a 5 percent increase in traffic, but they did not stay nor even had an intention to do so. I give this a C because it did do some good things, but mostly negative. I would not recommend this to anyone that wants to get peeved off.

I give it an A
I really like My Traffic Zone. I have been using this site for about 3 months now and have no complaints. The owners send out emails with free credit promo codes pretty regularly, so if you are pressed for time and cannot surf, you can still manage to get your site seen. They also have some pretty impressive prizes for the referral contests. In 3 months I have had a few signups on 2 different projects. This site seems to be more popular than people think because every surfer I have mentioned it to is already a member. I tried to spread the word at a social site and everyone I mentioned it to was either a member already or they did not use traffic exchanges. I still surf there at least 2 times a week and recommend it to anyone that is not already a member.

Just another traffic exchange
I joined this site about 4 weeks ago along with loads of other traffic exchanges but for me this site does not stand out of the crowd. It is the same as all of the other traffic exchanges out there. Yes it brings lots of hits to your website but not many of them sign up to that program.
I have another big problem with this site and that is the site layout. For me it is not clear and simple to use, it just looks like a scam site because of it's funny graphics.
I would not recommend this traffic exchange to anyone there are much better ones out there like hits2me which actually give quality traffic and the site looks good and is simple to use.

Decent for hits but not for sales
I joined as a free member and decided to work it in as part of my daily marketing routine. Nothing stood out about it to make it any different or any more profitable than any other standard traffic exchanges. I was receiving hits, but none of the hits were converting to sales, so it was absolutely worthless for me. I would only recommend it if you need hits and aren't concerned about making sales.

Nothing special about this traffic exchange
There is nothing special about this traffic exchange. It is just like the others, except that this one allows hover ads that stay with you as you are trying to scroll down the page. That is quite annoying, and I ended up not looking at what was in front of me, but just waiting till the timer ran out and then clicking to the next page. I was able to earn credits and gain hits to my web site, so that is positive. However even though I got the hits, my website showed that people only stayed on my website long enough for the timer to run out and then they were off my website. Nobody stayed longer or clicked through the pages. The results, other then the hits, were not positive with this one.

Typical exchange
This is like any other typical traffic exchange site. I believe I have tried almost every exchange I could find and this is one of them. What makes this different is that they have a better surf ratio than other traffic exchanges. I was getting a lot of hits, but I got nothing out of those hits. I was still attempting to give it a try, but after two weeks I still was not getting referrals to my websites listed on my blogs. I was not monetizing and wasting my time. The layout of the website is okay. It is sort of a turn off for me. I believe it needs to look a little more professional. The look of the website is very important for me because it is what attracts me to it. I would read the information on My Traffic Zone about downlines and all, but I learned this information elsewhere so it wasn't useful. I am not saying this traffic exchange is bad, it's just that I know I can put my time somewhere else. It just didn't work for me.

My Traffic Zone Gets a Green Light
I like My Traffic Zone because it provides a very clean surfing experience. Unlike other TE's I have used, My Traffic Zone surf sites never fail to load for me and are presented without a delay in the timer. The click-to-verify icons are all clever traffic signs, and I'm happy to report that unlike Dragon Surf and other graphic-based verifiers, these ones are actually big enough for me to click and see!
I love that I have the option to open a link I like in a new window while I'm surfing. I haven't seen this before in TE's and think it's a pretty crucial aspect to include. I've had to list my site name directly on my page with other TE's so users will remember the address and come back!
I like how I can message my downline and that there are referral contests for some major credits! On downside, however, is that the FAQ section is sometimes broken and wasn't running when I joined.
All in all, My Traffic Zone is your typical home-run TE with the same cookie cutter script as most of the others. I personally keep experimenting with the ones that deliver the most results, and My Traffic Zone has done decent for me so far.

Simple exchange, easy to use
I've joined various traffic exchanges trying to bring more viewers to my blog over the last few months. My Traffic Zone is similar to others with the way it works. I do see more site traffic using this one, and I enjoy the theme that they have going and how it is integrated. One complaint I have about this site is the "hovering ads", they move with you when you scroll through the page which makes it hard to read all the information at times. This may just be me though, as I generally dislike those type of ads, as they are too much like pop ups. But overall, a good traffic exchange site and I would recommend it.

Brings me lots of traffic
I signed up with My Traffic Zone a few months back and it is a pretty cool traffic exchange. I find that it was real easy to get admin to approve my site and it was done quickly. I also like that it is very easy to earn credits in which I use solely for banners. I wanted to try something different and banners is what I chose.
I created my own banner for my site and was able to easily get it on this site for advertising. I like that the placement of the banners is eye catching which has done wonders for my campaign. I also created a banner that would grab people's attention when they surfed. This has proven to be very effective on this exchange.
The theme on this site is pretty cool as well. The layout of the whole thing is simple yet appealing. The site is real easy to navigate and I've never had any problems. I am seeing an increase to my site traffic because of My Traffic Zone.
If all else fails on a traffic exchange, try using your own banners.

Just like a normal traffic program.
I did join this program because I was hoping to get lots of traffic to my website which would earn me lots of money. I didn't get a lot of traffic and for awhile there I thought I would quit with the program, but then I realized that I was lucky enough to find a legit traffic program that is not a scam. About every week I get 1-2 more traffic visits than I did the week before, so it's going good. I do recommend it.

Great for 2:1
I found My Traffic Zone to be OK. This one gets me a lot of click throughs on my banners. For us free members, MTZ gives us 2:1 surf and you convert banners and text ads for 1:25. I usually don't bother with any exchanges that are not less than 1:1 however, with all the dimes that I have been finding while surfing I think I will stay with this one a while.
Keep in mind that it's just an exchange; you're only going to sell to other marketers(we are the only people that use them).

It a good traffic exchange
I have been with this traffic exchange for nearly 2 years now. My Traffic Zone is one of my favorite traffic exchanges. With a 10 second timer and endless credits to earn what's not to like? I mean the layout is old fashioned, but I like the racing theme they have going on. I would recommend this site to anyone looking to get some extra traffic to their website.

Nothing Unique
This is just your average traffic exchange. You earn credits and earn hits for your websites.
I joined this site hoping to find a traffic exchange that might get my landing page a few hits, but as with most traffic exchanges, nobody stayed very long. Good thing it was easy to earn credits there.
If you are looking for a unique traffic exchange, do not join this site.

Well it's okay
Its an okay traffic exchange. I mean it's not like it's unique, but it's not bad either. I like the racing theme and the 10 second timer. I don't like that you have to wait for the admin to approve your site. I also don't like that you only get a half of a credit for every site you surf. But, hey over all it's a pretty good traffic exchange.
