Netbug Advertising Description

Netbug Advertising is a unique advertising exchange membership program that allows members to earn video advertising credits for watching other videos. Through this program, it’s also possible to purchase video advertising credits and even earn money for watching other members’ videos. Two membership options are offered, and there is an opportunity to build referral downlines for commission income.

Netbug Advertising Detailed Overview

There are plenty of ad exchange and traffic exchange programs out there on the internet, but Netbug Advertising has come up with a new twist on it. Instead of concentrating on such forms of advertising as URL links, banners, text ads and email ads, this program concentrates on video advertising only.

There is a free level of membership at Netbug Advertising and a paid level of membership, with the paid level costing $39.95 per month. When you join as a free member you are allowed to watch other members’ videos for credits. For every three videos you watch, you get one credit. Each credit that you earn entitles you to place a video advertisement on the website and have it viewed. You can also purchase video advertising credits as well as some promotional products that they sell in their online store.

That’s about as far as the free membership with Netbug Advertising goes. The real emphasis of the program is on the paid membership, which is not surprising. With the paid membership, you are allowed to watch other members’ advertising videos for credits, purchase video advertising credits for half the cost that free members pay and you get $.15 for every video that you watch. Paid Netbug Advertising members can also recruit others to the program, and they get paid commissions for everyone they recruit who becomes a paying member, plus everyone those people recruit who become paying members.

Note:  If you're on IM Report Card because you're looking for a way to make money online, then you should check out our top recommendation.  It's the best method we've found that anyone can use to earn income online.  Click here to learn more!

Netbug Advertising Reputation

Netbug Advertising is a brand new program, so feedback is scarce. Most of the people who are providing feedback right now are those who are trying to recruit other members. The program launched on July 4th, though, and the fact that there don’t seem to be any immediate complaints is a good sign. Time will tell, and in the meantime, anyone who’s interested in the program could at least join for free to see how it works.

Disappointed

The main problem with these opportunities is the disappointment

and the time you waste trying to promote something that turns out to be way less than expected. There should be emphasis on promoting to others after we see the value of the product. I guess everyone was mainly interested in building a downline, because there were very few videos to watch that it was obvious people didn't want to see the advertising. I think they're not paying money to watch because no one is buying any advertising. I watched boring videos for two months with no return on my cash. Most of the videos were company videos that could be seen on the company website. I canceled just before the third payment was due.

Less interesting than I expected

I thought this was a good service, but I can't rate this high because it is not as good as most people think. And what I hate about these services you can't see the cons about it before you purchase it. You notice bad things after you purchased it. And the same problem is with this service. When I bought it, I noticed immediately that it was a bad service that didn't meet my expectations. You just need to watch videos and you get the money. But it was to slow to make some serious money. In fact, I was just wasting my time. There were only a few videos, and it cost me a whole month to get paid. And then I didn't make much money, it was not worth my time

So I don't recommend this, because it's just time wasting.

An amateur on internet marketing, but all information helps.

Not all it's cracked up to be

Netbug advertising uses advertising methods that involve videos. Being a free member, I did not earn anything after about a month. I decided to use Netbug instead to simply advertise but still did not see much of an increase in profits. I got views to my advertisements, but that's all I got. Netbug advertising is not a complete letdown because it does have potential; it is just not the type of program I would personally recommend for many people other than large businesses. This being said, I rate Netbug Advertising a C+ because it does have it's uses in regards to larger marketing campaigns.

Could have put Youtube under the ground

This is what I thought when I first joined the sight. It seemed interesting enough to join so I thought why not. When I joined under "free, " I got practically nothing. I couldn't make anything because I wasn't viewing videos.

I have never in my life paid for an upgraded membership not to earn. So what I did was use Netbug for my own personal advertising. Now I will say that it has worked out very well on that end for me. But as far as making money watching videos; by far it is not worth my time, energy and or effort.

I think that is Netbugs main focus. They want people to advertise with them more than they want people to come and make money watching videos. Either way I took advantage of the advertising spectrum and gained a ton of visitors to my site.

Very Upset with Paul Darby's NetBugAdvertising!

As a Pro Member of Paul Darby's NetBugAdvertising, before the launch, I was pumped! Enjoying all conference calls, even though it took valuable time away from my family, falling a bit short on their needs, temporarily. With daily promotions, paid and free, I managed to gain referral to what I thought was going to be a Win Win Opportunity to Financial Freedom once and for all. I advertised as such, including the much boasted "Paid to View" & "Free to Join" that was being promoted in the very beginning before the launch.

Once the site was launched, it seemed the finer points to how the program worked changed.

The Site is Free to Join but only Paid Members eventually started to get Paid To View the videos. I was watching videos before the launch and was never able to find any accumulated credits. I felt guilty for those I referred. As all I was taught that the program was about and took with me on my advertising campaigns turned out to be false. Pretty much a case of false advertising but at no fault of my own. Furthermore, once the Payment Processor was getting billed $39 per month, it was showing up as $78. I canceled my recurring subscription to NetBugAdvertising.com. Rarely do I receive anymore member mails from Paul Darby. Never once did I ever hear from direct up line.

I feel that the subscription costs that I paid to NetBugAdvertising and the concessions that I made to do so were worthless.

NetBugAdvertising.com may be good for those at the very top but for how long? I can not see this program surviving the long term when there are a couple new Paid to View websites that do pay it's members per view, without a monthly subscription cost as well as high impact advertising!

I, too, was disappointed

I joined NetBug during the pre-launch. It was highly advertised that you could make money watching videos. I really advertised the opportunity and had 16 free downline members when it actually went live. I just wanted to make enough money watching videos to pay for my monthly fee, but they were very slow getting things set up. I only saw

1 or 2 videos that you could watch and get paid for during the 5 weeks that I participated.

I would not recommend this one at all.

I Was Suckered Once Again

I joined Netbug Advertising while it was still in pre-launch. The creator Paul Darby had a somewhat respectable reputation on the net so I joined. I thought I was joining a program where I would be able to earn money viewing videos without having to pay cash. I was proven wrong once the service actually launched. Turns out that you would have to pay all of about $40 in order to earn for viewing videos which would not even cover the cost that you paid to be a member. Then the only way to really cover your membership costs would be to sucker others in and get them to do the same. I couldn't be a member of a service such as this. Since launch, I haven't been active or even looked back. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone even if they did have the money to spend. I think it is a complete waste of time and energy.

I was scammed!

I had spent $80 on this program to initially earn money. It is a paid to earn money. You earn it by watching video clips. I figured it would be a great way to earn good money, not to mention a fun way. I got a loan from my mother and so that I could join this money making idea. After I joined up, I did not make the money that they promised. I finally had to discontinue my membership and report them to the Better Business Bureau. I was out of luck paying my mother back and I don't encourage anyone else to join.

Snagged again

I have gotten better, but it looks like I may have made another wrong choice. I joined and the basic idea sounded good, so I became a paid member. Went through the pre-launch and launch and finally the day the advertising became paid and not just Free credit.

Well, I went looking for paid advertisements so I could recoup my monthly fee. None could be found. Everyone I came across was Free credits for watching.

I went to my local bank and cancelled my credit/debit card, and then I sent my emails to support to have my account cancelled. Well after 8 undeliverable emails, I am confident I finally made the correct decision.

Before you join anything go to Google and put in the name of the opportunity followed by scam. Heck that's how I ended up here. :]

Oh yes, before the full launch I had sent an email to support about a suggestion and got a response back in 2 hours. That put me in a false sense of security. But lucky for me, I started listening to my own doubts about the program.

Hope this helped.

Nick

I joined Netbug in prelaunch

I was anxiously awaiting the full scale launch of netbug, which had been touted as the "Internet's next big thing". I received all sorts of daily emails letting me know that this program would "Take the Internet by Storm". You know, the usual hype. But I thought, it's new, it's different. I'll give it a shot.

What I discovered is that this program is not new or different at all. There is nothing really new or different about using video to market. That's been going on for awhile now, and paying people to watch it is simply another PPA plan. This is simply a traffic exchange with video, and frankly, it's pretty uninteresting.

The first thing I noticed upon "test driving" the system is that the whole process is very slow. These are not just quick little videos. Some of them are like full-scale infomercials. At a time when people are twittering and using manual traffic exchanges with 8 second timers, this seems a lot more backward than forward, modern marketing.

The user is required to log in, watch a video, and prove to the system that they watched the video in it's entirety by entering a code at the end. I could go make myself lunch and never have to watch the video. Just wait for the code. I can take a bathroom break, or a smoke break, or watch TV, or anything else. In the age of the short attention span, this idea just does not fly.

I haven't even tried promoting it because I cannot imagine that marketers are willing to go through this whole painfully slow process just for a few credits or cash. At almost 40 for the "upgrade", there are plenty of other exchanges out there to make cash and credits that are free to join. Yes, it's video, but will anyone watch it? I can't see that happening. It is just not worth the time. Time is money, and nobody has enough of either.

As the review said, you can opt for the free version and try it out yourself, which is good, although I suggest using an alternate email address because you WILL get hounded with pleas to upgrade now.
