PopUpTraffic is an advertising network that serves millions of pop ups across their websites. The network helps advertisers get more traffic and publishers monetize their sites. The service specializes in using pop under traffic, which is a window that opens up behind the original site rather than serving a pop up right in front of the user.
Pop ups have been around ever since the beginning of the Internet. Although most marketers think they are uneffective, it is still a viable way for advertisers to spread their marketing message, thus a way for publishers to earn money from them.
PopUpTraffic is a ad network that brings together advertisers and publishers. Let’s go into the advertising program first. You can buy popunder traffic from the US/CA/UK for $3 CPM and $1.75 CPM for international countries. This is actually a pretty good rate for pop under traffic. The network also protects you by only counting unique pop unders that are viewed, not blocked.
Publishers are paid $1.80 CPM (per thousand impressions) for pop-unders. This is a pretty okay rate as many networks usually pay less. If you have a site that people will most likely view only once, then you should probably try to load all 3 types of pop ups from different networks to your visitors. However, if your site depends on returning visitors, it’s best to use only 1-2 as you’ll find visitors will not want to revisit the site because of the pop up.
A problem that publishers have faced is pop up blockers. Because PopUpTraffic only credits you only when an ad is fully loaded, many people have reported that they are not earning much with the network. This applies to every pop up traffic network so you’ll have to test this yourself and find the results.
One thing you have to remember is that you are credited depending on the type of traffic. You will get paid .70 cents CPM for UK and Canadian traffic, .30 cents CPM for international traffic, .30 cents CPM for non unique US traffic, .15 cents for non unique UK and Canadian traffic.
Other international traffic will earn you .30 cents for unique traffic and .05 cents for non uniques. By unique traffic, I mean for every unique IP address. Because a visitor can browse your site and see more pop unders, you are credited less for those.
The statistics are very easy to read and you can view your figure by the day, month, and type of pop up. The stats are not updated real time so you will have to revisit them by the hour if you want a more accurate figure.
Overall, PopUpTraffic is a solid company for monetizing your site. They are perfect for small and medium sites that want to bring in some extra revenue. I do think that they need a better reporting system and need to update their impression counting. Publishers have reported no problems getting paid out by the network and accumulating the minimum $25.
As an advertiser, you should be aware that this source of traffic is less valuable than email, PPC, or SEO. You’ll have to really track carefully and try different campaigns if you want to make pop under traffic work for you. The network has great customer support and is an established network so you don’t have to worry about whether you are being cheated, just about converting your traffic.

Popup traffic Sucks Stay Away! Popup traffic still OWES me a few thousand dollars and never did pay. When I used them, I would log in to their "control panel" every day to view stats. It seemed ok and I was earning money. However months went by and no check ever came. And to this day, despite many attempts to get paid, they have not paid me. They made up some lame excuses and banned me from their forum when I complained. Is this the type of company you want to do business with? They misled me with daily stats and never paid. You've been warned! |

A little of My Experience I was a publisher a few years back (2007) and received multiple payments. With my low traffic numbers they were the only network that would allow my network of sites. The payouts listed above are all wrong. I made double that 2 years ago and I can only imagine it is still the same, if not more. I would recommend that any interested parties check the site to confirm the current payouts. Overall with the easy acceptance, plus the fact that this company did pay then and it still exists years later. I would say this is one of the better Pop Under companies to work with! |

I was able to make a cashout Popup Traffic was a site I found quite accidentally about four months ago and I decided to join in since it seemed really a promising one. Unfortunately this wasn't the case and I just lost a lot of time and effort in it. The results I was able to get were not worth it in my point of view. After some time the site certainly proved to be legit since I myself have been able to make some money out of it. I used the site mostly because of the high conversion rates. I was able to make just one cashout and I believe that for the time it took I could have been able to make at least 3 times more money. Reaching that cashout is really a hard thing. Another bad thing was the traffic quality from Popup Traffic - it definitely wasn't good and not worth wasting time. As a conclusion I would say that the site wasn't of any use to me and despite being able to earn some money, I wouldn't recommend it.

Lost a lot of time in it I was in search of an advertisement solution about two and a half months ago when I happened to stumble upon Popup Traffic. I thought that I might be able to produce good results and tried it out. The conversion rates were quite high actually and that was also a good thing. Despite all of that, reaching for cashout wasn't the easiest thing and it took quite some time. It is just not a good way to make money, since it can take forever to reach cashout more than once. My site also wasn't receiving much quality traffic and I wasn't able to see good results. The program was working well for me at first, maybe the first month, but after that something went wrong obviously and everything slowed down so my experience with it wasn't too good.

Pop up traffic never works Pop up traffic never works. I actually tried this just to see how things would turn out. The site was easy to navigate, and I got my ad done very quickly. I then set it in rotation and waited. At first, I did get fairly good results. There was a lot more traffic to my site. Then it declined sharply and never went up again. I assumed that people started using the pop up blocker, and my ad was never seen again. I don't recommend this site to anyone that is looking for traffic. You are going to have to do it the old fashioned way.

Received Bad Traffic I heard about this site just 3 months ago. They offer a cheap pop-up traffic, so that's why I would give it a try and hoping my blog would be visited by more real visitors. Then, I purchased for US/CA/UK traffic. I'm expected to have about five leads on my blog and make some cash. What happened? Sadly, I didn't get any sign ups at all, moreover the traffic was so wasteful and I'm sure it wasn't visited by real people. Pop-up window can really make people annoyed and they'll surely close it before it gets fully loaded. This kind of traffic never gives you something big, on the other hand, I just can say this is worthless. I have tried more than two pop-up traffic services and none of them are working. I think it would better to save my money for something else rather than buying a pop-up traffic.

I didn’t receive the results I was hoping for I signed up for PopUpTraffic about 3 weeks ago. I signed up hoping to receive a large volume of quality traffic. Straight after I signed up, I went in and designed a pop-up, the first thing I noticed was the simplicity and easy to use nature of the programs interface. I had designed a professional looking pop-up within 20 minutes of me signing up to the program. After this I uploaded it and they said that it was now ‘live. ’ I was blown away by how easy it was to set the program up. The only thing I was waiting for now was the sure-fire traffic (or so I thought. ) A week after I purchased the program, I went and checked up to see how much traffic the program had gotten me, the program had gotten me only around 300 hits and 0 sales. I was extremely disappointed with this and I have now unsubscribed from PopUpTraffic. I believe that there is potential within PopUpTraffic, however I certainly did not optimize this potential. I recommend this program to anyone who has a high degree of patience and is prepared to wait to see the effects of this program, in my case the effects that I saw were not sufficient for my needs.

Not that good I used Popup Traffic in my blogs in order to make some extra money. At first my conversion rate was very good, and once I got paid by them. Later they refused to pay me on the grounds that my traffic was not unique. When I asked them for clarification they informed me that my blogs were getting traffic from sites that are against their policies. However, bloggers have to be careful if they are displaying Google ads in their blogs. Once I was warned by Google and luckily they did not close my account. Later I deleted every ad by Popup Traffic from my blogs where I displayed Google ads. |

Not worth it to me I signed up with Popup Traffic several months ago and was pretty excited at first. I was able to get high conversion rates with the popunders on my site. I was able to reach cashout only once. I then noticed that the popunder views declined dramatically after that. I'm close to reaching payout again but it has been close to 4 months since my last one. I think this program works good at first until people notice the popunders and the site associated with them. With so much popup blocker software these days, I don't see my sites getting very many more views with this strategy. I still use it because I want to reach my second payout since I'm so close. After that, I'm not too sure. I would not discourage anyone from this program, but I would keep in mind that it may only work temporarily.

Great at First Then Disappointed I got Popup Traffic for a previous site I was working on and figured I'd give the service a chance to see if I could make some extra money providing space for ads on my site. I actually did make a pretty decent amount for about the first two months, and reached the cash-out twice, which I thought was pretty good since I wasn't doing much work for it. But for some reason after that, my earnings dipped significantly. I didn't make payout again for another almost three months, and didn't do anything differently. I don't know if it was because more people were just blocking the pop-ups, or if Popup Traffic was just being flaky or changed their rates. Whatever the reason, I was disappointed because I had success at first and got paid quickly from them. After it stalled out though, I stopped using it.

Waste Of Money! I ordered pop up advertisement from this site when I first joined the online world and was trying to get visitors to my site without the effort of doing it myself. Of course being a newbie to the online world I thought I could just buy a million views and get a ton of referrals. I was wrong! I found this site and decided to give it a try, but all I got was useless views that were automated and not actual customers. If you do decide to be lazy and not get your own viewers and pay for them on your own, then stay away from this site.
