ReadySite Description

ReadySite is an advertising program that allows website owners to put widgets on their websites that can earn them money. Website owners get to choose which type of advertising widget that can be put on their website or blog. They get paid a certain amount each time someone clicks on the widget and completes a task prescribed by the advertiser, such as signing up for a free offer or taking a survey.

ReadySite Detailed Overview

You have to qualify to be able to work with the ReadySite program; this is one of the first things that you’ll find out if you look at their home page. There’s not much information there on that home page; no FAQ section, no “about us”, not much of anything except for a few samples of what website pages look like with the widgets on them. Basically, they’ll give you more information if your website or blog qualifies.

Though they don’t make it clear what requirements are needed for your website or blog to qualify for the ReadySite program, more than likely they want to see a fairly decent page rank and a respectable amount of traffic coming to your site. There is an application that you fill out where you list your personal information, such as name, address, phone number and even social security number (for payment purposes). Then you list the URL’s of the websites that you want to include in the program, a description of each, and an estimate of how much traffic they get.

If your website or blog qualifies for the ReadySite program, you then get to choose what type of widget you’ll allow to be placed on the site. You can choose such thing as color and categories. Once that is all determined, you’re given some HTML code to place on your website, and the widget is displayed.

The ReadySite widget is updated regularly with information and offers, and the more people click on them and complete tasks, the more money you make. Payment varies, and it’s rarely a lot per click, but if you get enough participation from your visitors, it can add up to be some nice extra cash for you.

ReadySite Reputation

Feedback from those who’ve qualified for and used the ReadySite program has been mostly positive. There have been a few complaints, however, about lack of information on the site’s home page and when it comes to earnings for different tasks. Members report that the program does pay when it is supposed to, and that the widgets are mostly well designed.

Simple deal

I've found this service when I saw some small sites have this unique ad widget. I contacted the website owner and he referred me to this service. After I tried it out, I immediately love this site. Unlike most of other advertising networks where it will take days or weeks before they approve your site, this one will only need 24 hours to approve it and you'll be able to start putting their ads in your website after that.

What I love about this service is that they won't require their applicant to have a website that's full of high-quality contents or have a good number of daily visits. As long as the site is in English, doesn't contain adult or illegal material, they will approve it no matter how unpopular your site is. The earning wasn't that great because they will only pay per click on their ads, not per view, but it is still good to have an extra ad income without much work. I'd give it A+ if their earning is great, but since it isn't, I'll rate it B.

Started using ready site

I have started using ready site on my site. Widgets seem good and the links are clean, I have my ReadySite account protected, and I haven't seen any suspicious behavior so it is all good on that side, no funny business.

I have not requested payout, but I will keep you posted.

Readysite Vs Adsense

I signed up for ReadySite in order to test it and compare it to what I was getting in Adsense. The widgets and the fact that you can have an entire ReadySite page are awesome. That is a great bonus to the site and most of the ads are for free products or trials which was also something I liked.

However after comparing the stats after a one week test of each, I decided to stick with Adsense. I still use the ReadySite referral banner though as it seems to convert pretty well.

This is a pretty good program

I signed up for ReadySite and after about 3 days I had my blog approved. I was actually surprised because it was a new blog I had created that was just starting to make it's way up the rankings. First of all what I like about this site. The widgets I was able to choose from were really good in my opinion. They actually had ones that coincided with the theme of my blog, so that in itself was amazing. They just blended right in. Another thing I liked is that they were real easy to set up, and they have a high quality look to them once they were posted on my blog. This in itself is what brought in the income from me. What I didn't like about the site is there is nothing else there besides the widgets. I signed up and picked my widgets. I did have one question, but so far it has never been answered. I would have looked on their FAQ but there wasn't any. Anyways, I would have to say give this site a try and test it out for yourself. I have been happy with it so far.

Not for big bucks

Ready is in fact a good site. There are some problems like other users have posted. There is a Questions and Answers page which really is a bummer, and this site is really not for making a lot of money. It does help you get a little extra change in pocket which is always good. I rate this a B-pretty good.

Easy way to monetize your blog

I've wanted to earn more money from blogging for a while, but I've found AdSense and similar programs pretty confusing. ReadySite isn't perfect, but it was a lot easier to figure out and set up. And since it wasn't straight-up advertising the way other programs are, putting the one widget on my page didn't clutter things up as much. It did take me a couple tries to get approved actually, because at first my blog didn't have a whole lot of traffic, and I had to work at it a bit to get it up to the level where I could get approved. The other nice thing was, that unlike when I've tried other programs that pay you when readers click on ads (and how likely are people to click on AdSense ads, really?), ReadySite isn't really shilling typical stuff; instead, it's offering useful freebies. Because of that difference, I actually got a halfway-decent amount of revenue from people clicking on the widget.

I spent a semester in England; read about it (and my other travels) here.
I like to read and to give my opinions. Put them together and you get book reviews.

ReadySite is pretty good

I signed up for ReadySite and was very excited when my blog was approved. I had great content on my blog, but I was looking to add more to it. I chose the widgets that I wanted to add on my blog. I was able to choose between different colors also, so that it would match the format of my blog. The only thing that I dislike about ReadySite is that they have no "FAQS" page. I have had a few unanswered questions about the site. Overall, I am making a pretty good amount of money from my widgets. I don't recommend ReadySite to anyone looking to make "big bucks", just someone looking to make a little extra money.
