SocialSpark Description

SocialSpark is an advertising program run by the company IZEA and CEO Ted Murphy that allows advertisers to connect with bloggers for promotional opportunities. Through this program, advertisers can offer to pay bloggers for promoting their products or services on their blogs. Participating bloggers can earn in a variety of ways, including commissions on sales and direct pay for promotional posts.

SocialSpark Detailed Overview

There are a lot of programs that bring online businesses together with bloggers so the former can get exposure and the latter can make money. SocialSpark seems to be somewhat unique among these programs in that a large number of its opportunities for bloggers are in the form of affiliate or pay-per-click earnings.

When you sign up as a participating blogger on SocialSpark, you first need to have your blog approved by the program administration. There are the normal rules, such as no porn and no objectionable content, and beyond this the blog should be interesting, timely, and it should get decent traffic.

When an advertiser is looking for exposure on a participating blog, they submit the opportunities to the marketplace section of SocialSpark, and bloggers can look them over and decide if they want to take advantage of them. Advertisers specify if what they are posting is an affiliate, cost-per-click, pay-per-post or link-trade opportunity. An affiliate opportunity will pay a commission to the blogger if they promote the advertiser’s product or service on their page and someone purchases from the link they provide. A CPC opportunity will pay a commission to the blogger if someone clicks on the advertiser’s link in their blog. The pay-per-post and link-trade opportunities are more along the lines of what most of these programs offer, and are fairly self-explanatory. There are also sponsorship opportunities where the advertiser pays the blogger daily for featuring their business on their blog.

SocialSpark acts as the broker between advertisers and bloggers, so they get their cut. This program is a great way for both sides to find what they need, though. It can save advertisers and bloggers a lot of time and everyone can profit.

SocialSpark Reputation

SocialSpark is a fairly new program, and so far the feedback has been mostly good. Administrators of the program seem to be working hard to help it run smoothly, and advertisers and bloggers alike are appreciating this. People report that they are benefitting from this program, so odds are good that it will stand the test of time.

Newbie blogger on socialspark

I have joined social spark November last year, but I have only started making blogs for them in December. Not that I do not have offers but I did not know how it worked. After some readings on other blogs I decided to get an offer, I submitted it and was approved. The following day another offer came, wrote it and got approved again. I have at least 4 offers that have written so far for the span of at least 3 weeks. I have not been paid and I am looking forward to that.

Do you know anymore services like social spark? Please let me know, I am a bit desperate for an income these days!

Great for Steady Bloggers with Traffic

I have been writing posts for SocialSpark for about 2 months now, and I love the way they work. All links are nofollow, and the posts are generally a minimum of only 200 words. I have been getting $15 per post, not a lot, but the posts only take about a half hour to do.

I don't have any complaints about the quantity of offers. I do a few a week. I really wouldn't want more than that on my blog anyway. My only complaint would be that under the current terms I will have to reach 30k uniques per month to get regular offers over the $15 I currently get.

Writing opps for bloggers

Social Spark is another pay to blog site for bloggers, I recently joined in after some nudge from an online friend. It is easy to register and not much requirement except to post in your blog some randomly generated phrase. After the sign up procedure I immediately had my first writing opportunity worth $5 for a 200 words article. I finished it within 5 minutes but since it was my first time it was rejected several times, why? It was definitely not because of the article but because of the codes or links required. Then there should be no ads in between and articles before and after should be this and that. There is too much ado for such a small fee. I guess I don’t have a choice but to give in. I just hope I could get opportunities with a higher rate next time.

Straight up awesome, get paid for doing what your already doing

Blogs are such a vital part of my online income, and I have been using them for quite some time now. Social Spark is one of those tools that you just have to adore. My AM told me about it and I looked for it and was amazed. I have so many blogs that are actually very jampacked with great content that I don't really use anymore, so this was just too easy. I grabbed over 15 blogs that I set up in the past but haven't used in over 6 months and I submitted them. All but five my blogs were accepted and I made an immediate profit. After submitting all of them and reviewing why the ones that were rejected, got rejected, I learned a lot about what kind of blog material they are looking for. Nowadays, I make many blogs a week and most of them are useless to me after testing a certain offer and I just change my blog around the way Social Spark likes it and I make profit. This just can't be easier for the blogging type. I highly recommend this to all of you Im'ers.

Great for Profit, not so much for Newbies

I have to admit, I’m a pretty good blogger, and I have made a couple hundred dollars off my blogs by posting them on my site. I was referred to SocialSpark by a friend, and I have fallen in love with it. I was very surprised to see that they are paying $10-$60 for a 300 word blog, and I knew I could write top quality blogs in about 30 minutes. I submitted several of my blogs, and only 3 were not accepted. Altogether, I have made over $300 with SocialSpark, and haven’t invested much time or money into it. I would recommend SocialSpark for seasoned bloggers, but the site might not be too good for newbies, because the administration is adamant about only accepting the best of the crop.

Earning cash and having fun

My friend suggested SocialSpark for me to be able to earn some cash from my blogs. He was an avid fan of my blog and he knew that I can receive more than what I was receiving then.

I signed up and was surprised to see that they were paying $10-$50 for a 250-words blog for one of the products they have. I was thinking that it is really easy to do that. I submitted my blog and waited for a reply and nothing came.

I tried to send other blogs like 3 times until they finally approved it. I felt so happy to be paid for my blog and I have to admit that I really enjoyed it.

They paid me on time and I am giving it an A.

Good Site but Not Newb Friendly

SocialSpark is a paid to post website. I applied to this website with some of my newer blogs, but they were quickly rejected. The administration certainly does work hard to accept good blogs. Once my blogs did get bigger, they were accepted. I did have to wait a while before I started getting opportunities, but once I did start receiving them, I was earning some great residual income. I was getting paid around $10 to $50 per post! I usually took around 2 per week adding $20 to $100 extra money in my paypal account. This is a nice way for experienced bloggers to make residual income, but for the newbies, it can be a bit difficult to get accepted.

Good for good bloggers

I've heard some stories of people who made money from Social Spark. So I wanted to try too. Back then, I was a beginning blogger and had some blogs up. I signed up my blogs in their system but none of them were approved. The administration is certainly working hard...

Some time later, when my blogs got bigger and better, I tried it again and just one of my blogs got approved.

Their system is a bit technical; you must know exactly where to past the code they give you. But once the code is put in the right place, everything works fine. I've experienced this is a good site, so I would recommend it to bloggers. But you should be either lucky or a good blogger if your blog is approved.

I love this site but it would be better if they have MORE OPPORTUNITIES

I love SocialSpark for the mere reason that the pay per opportunity is quite high compare to other paid post site I am a member of. The site pays around $10 to $50 for a 250 word article. This is one good site that pays well.

The only problem I can think of right now is the lack of opportunities available to some countries. There a lot of opportunities but most of it are not available or open to my country. It is frustrating too that when there is an available opportunity to me, the slot is already filled.

The best thing I can think of about SocialSpark is it's ability to create spark among it's members. A blogger or a publisher can also have an advertiser account. One can ask other members to blog for them and in return they will blog for them too. It is a good way to build links and traffic.

Social Spark is a very unique website. It is a good earning site and at the same time offers a community for all the members.

I am loving this site

I have just joined SocialSpark, and I have nothing but raves about this site. I love the fact that I can get to meet new people and gain a new network through this site, and of course, I also love that I have the opportunity to make money as well. I have yet to earn my first buck at SocialSpark, but even though I'm not yet earning right now, I love that I get extra traffic by socializing and making new friends. Once you join this site, they ask you to join a "team", and a team leader or manager is assigned for any updates from the site. I love that my team leader is fun, and he keeps encouraging his members to keep visiting the site for any opportunities. I am still waiting for writing or posting opportunities, although I do know that they have the CPM opportunities available as well. I also love the site layout itself, and the ease of navigation. I am still referring my friends to join, and hopefully, I don't only get to gain new friends but also start earning from the site as well.

I sooo love SocialSpark!

I have submitted my main blog in the middle of May 2009 and my 2nd blog in the middle of August 2009... I didn't have a problem getting them to accept my blogs even though both of those blog don't have Google PRs.

So far I can say I've earned more than $600 from SocialSpark since middle of May and I have some of my paid post actually chosen as SocialSpark's Best Post To Date.

I love it because as long as your blogs have higher RR, you will most likely qualify for a lot of opps and a lot of opps will mean a lot of earning... I'm loving SocialSpark!

Loving It! BUT More Opportunities Would Be Better

This site is the highest paying in the industry, which is the main reason why I love it when I am qualified for an opportunity. BUT, since the payment is high per offer, the slots often disappear in mere minutes after the announcement of a new opportunity comes in the email. So I make it a point best to grab the offer before anyone else takes it. Lately, there isn't any post opportunities offered, and although they offer CPC and commissions per sale, I'm not really into that type of stuff so I focus on just the writing offers.

Another reason why I graded this an A is because they do not give emphasis on the PageRank of a site, but instead on it's RealRank, which to me, is a much more reasonable way of judging a site's value. I love it also because there is an actual community of bloggers that you can interact with inside the site, unlike other pay-to-post sites out there where you just go to bid on projects or log in to read the instructions for a task. I've found a lot of mommy bloggers in the site which helped me build my network, which is great.

The writing instructions are always clear cut, and they are strict about every article passing the system and the client's requirements, which is how I like it. It maintains the integrity of the system, I think. The interface couldn't be more beautiful, this is the best looking online earning site I've stumbled upon in ages. They offer an option to become a VIP member, but what I get for free is okay for me, so I think I wouldn't be upgrading to VIP anytime soon.

The people at IZEA are not hard to like. They're the friendliest bunch of people I've had the pleasure of working with, and they give us tons of opportunities that are simply hard to miss. These guys make me want to be a better blogger, not only for the high-paying opportunities, but also for the warm and welcoming community that they provide to it's members.

I imagine advertisers think twice before securing their services. SocialSpark, after all, demands a high payment for their bloggers. But seeing how only the advertisers can choose only the best people for the job, the investment is worth every dime. If I had enough funds and was advertising my site for profit, I would definitely go to SocialSpark for my advertising needs, as I have seen how effective they carry out their campaigns.

This is my most favorite pay-to-post site to date, and I'm not about to change that choice anytime soon. If you haven't signed up already, I highly recommend that you do. Two, heck, three thumbs up for them!

High IZEA Rank Means High Earnings

In order to earn more from Social Spark, I am always on the lookout for new opportunities so that I can grab a slot right away. I enjoy being a Social Spark member. Not only do I earn money from the site, but I earn friends, as well, because it makes me possible to network with other bloggers.

I log in regularly on the site to check if there are new opportunities. Two of my blogs has been approved by their system. Even though these blogs do not have high Google Page Rank, they are still qualified for most opportunities due to their high IZEA rank. Based from experience, IZEA rank is more attainable if you are really active in blogging.

Parenting Notes

Problems at first, But hung in there...

I was initially frustrated with Social Spark because it took a while for them to accept my posts and I kept getting rejected. But, I stuck with it and then when I started getting accepted, I fist got a little confused by all the codes, where to put them, etc. , but I did a little research and work to figure it out and finally got the hang of it. Now that I'm posting on there and got down the coding it's been working really well for me. It's nice that it's free to use and post, and I'm able to make money from it. It takes a little while for Advisors to pick you up or decide to use your blog, but if you stick with it, it is worth it in the end. Plus, you are able to keep track of how successful your blog is if you are getting more exposure and that's always helpful information.

Social Spark not so Sparkling

I was initially excited about Social Spark because I thought they

were an alternative to payperpost. They are owned by the same people (IZEA)and I had problems posting on payperpost due to the difficulty with coding. Talking to the help staff did not resolve the situation. I found similar problems with SocialSpark, so it was a site that did not work out for me, even though my blog was accepted. If you are great at pasting code it might work for you.

I love them!

I have made some pretty good money using Social Spark. I have been with them for quite some time now and all I can say is they are awesome! I had 5 of my blogs accepted by them and I got a lot of work. Two of my blogs were rated pretty high and I felt pretty proud of that. I like how they rate blogs on there. I also like how I can get a lot of work on there and that my blogs were accepted.

I highly recommend Social Spark for bloggers that get traffic to their blogs and have had their blogs up for awhile. They really do pay and I enjoyed the money I got from them. I still use them and will keep using them for along time!

For known blogs

I know very well that for some, Social Spark has really made a "spark" by earning them money through the many offers found in their website. But for blogs like mine, and beginner bloggers like me, Social Spark is quite hard to get along with. I tried to submit my blogs to them for many times but I still get rejected even though I've got a decent page rank and Alexa Rank. Plus it was confusing how their codes should work, it was hard understanding where to put them. But I guess, like Pay Per Post they're a good place to be since they pay most bloggers. Although it's not just the thing for me at this time. For now, I'll stick to Pay Per Post.
