Text Broker Description

Text Broker is a way for clients to get unique articles which they can place on blogs, websites, or any other place needed. For authors, Text Broker is a way to make money from writing. Text Broker acts as a middleman between the two, giving clients a way to contact authors and making it easier for both. Unlike most freelance sites where an author has to bid on a project, the prices are already set according to the quality required.

Text Broker Detailed Overview

Clients – will have up to 1000 authors looking to write on their projects. All articles are one of a kind and tested through Copyscape, thus assuring the client of completely unique content. Clients can choose the level of writing they desire. They can choose a 2 star rating which means the article will be legible. A 3 star rating which means it will be readable with very few (or no) grammatical errors. 4 star means an article with perfect grammar and well thought out content. 5 star means it is a completely professional article.

Once the article has been written, the client has the option of accepting it as is, declining it out right, or sending it back for revision. The client does receive full copyright to the article and may use it as he/she sees fit. If the client has a particular author that has worked well in the past, then they have the option of doing a direct order (as compared to an open order, which all authors in the database can apply for). By doing a direct order, the client and author are able to negotiate their own prices. If by chance the client comes across an author whose work he does not like, he can add that author to his blacklist and that person will be barred from requesting those assignments. The price per article will vary according to the star level desired, a minimum of $25 must be put into the account before a client can post an order.

Authors – it is very simple to become an author with Open Text, you fill out a short form and verify your email address. After doing this you will be taken to a page to write a sample article. The article is between 125 and 250 words. Various topics are provided for you to choose from. It will take Text Broker up to one business day to evaluate your sample. Once this is done, you will be given a star rating, this star rating determines which orders you can take. You can only take orders for your level and below. Star level also determines the amount of money you make per article, but only if you choose orders AT your level.

Orders below your star level will pay that level rate. 2 star payment is $1 per 100 words, 3 star payment is $1.40 per 100 words, 4 star payment is $2 per 100 words, and 5 star payment (this level is only acquired by invitation) is $6.70 per 100 words. Minimum payout is $10 via Paypal, authors can request payout twice per month and payments are done on the 5th and 20th of each month.

Text Broker Reputation

I could find no complaints regarding this service, and it appears to be a very reputable company. It takes away a lot of the stress normally experienced by freelance writers, and has a good compensation plan in place. I checked the authors section and there are plenty of writing orders to choose from, but most of them are at the lower-paying 2 star level. But, this is a new company and as their reputation grows then the higher paying orders should start coming in.

Textbroker

Textbroker is an ok website, sometimes it can be a little difficult finding articles that suit your interests or you can relate to. I was denoted to a level 2 from a level 3, but there's always room for improvement. The downsides are: not enough interesting articles to write, most team orders I'm in don't ever have any articles available, and the directions of the writing orders can be very confusing. But overall, I love the site and the payouts are usually on time. I recommend this to anyone who needs a little extra money.

ABSOLUTELY love their system... the only problem is they pay POORLY!

Demand Media Studios pays significantly better than Text Broker. Why do we exploit people in this country? Why? Why must a government employee at USPS barely a high school diploma earn $30 - 50/hr putting a stamp on an envelope and Content Writers in this country earn $1 through Text Broker? This country is... $%@#$%#$@^! up when it comes to priorities and what's important. Many wonder why the quality of education in this country is extremely poor. Qualified people deserve to be paid for their talents! Writing quality Copy is NOT a walk in the park. No, it is NOT!

Hate, Hate, Hate, HATE TextBroker! (Does that get my point across?)

Oh my god! Don't get me started on this company. There are so many things to hate about working here, but I'll start at the beginning. I started working for TextBroker in May 2010. I had lost my real job a year and four months before, and things were getting really rocky. We were scared we would have to move into my in-laws basement. Okay, so my husband and I start working and it really makes us feel better to have some financial security. My husband got his level five status after calling, nagging and arguing with their conceited staff. I on the other hand have not advanced at all. When I was admitted, they classified me as level four, and I am still a level four one year and nine months later. I have raised my rate for direct orders, but that's been it. When I work here, I receive less than minimum wage. For three months, I've been trying to get my level five with serious commitment, and all they do is beat me down. Don't work here.

Grind It Out, Peasant!

I suspect that textbroker only lets their own employees attain 5-star status. I say this because I'm a very well read author for a leading political network who makes a very kind living during the normal workday, but I actually enjoy writing random articles during the margins of my day as well, which I've found textbroker is very good for.

Unfortunately, they pay their 4-star writers below minimum wage, and despite stellar reviews from all of my clients, I've been denied the exclusive 5-star status twice; once for a claim of bad grammar that was flat out incorrect, and once for using a colorful metaphor that the reviewer didn't understand. I'm talking about one or two instances over the course of 75,000 words, which is the length of a typical novel. So, you won't be able to get to 5-star status unless you can essentially compose a 300-page novel with no errors whatsoever, which, obviously, no one can do.

In summation, textbroker is quite good for a writer that is willing to grind their fingers and eyes to the bone for about 6 bucks an hour, but they will never be able to actually touch the pot of gold that textbroker continually dangles over their large workforce.

Textbroker

I have written for textbroker and find the service a great way to earn a little extra money while also developing your skills as a freelance writer. If I have one complaint, it is that I have been a level 3 writer for months now, even though I get very good feedback - I'm not sure what I have to do to get promoted. I also work for another site called independent publishing, which is basically the same but with this one I can write in a number of different languages (I am part Spanish) and I got promoted a little quicker. I think textbroker has just opened up a multi lingual platform as well, though, so maybe I will be able to progress in the Spanish market (if they have one!)

A Great Experience For Budding Freelance Writers

Freelance writing websites can seem to be a dime a dozen on the internet lately. They all make promises of paying out to their writers, but there are few that are able to deliver consistent work or really offer pay of any sizable amount. Other freelance writing websites are so professional that it is difficult for novice writers to get any work at all. Textbroker.com is different than most freelance writing websites in both of these categories.

This website offers even the beginner writers the opportunity to start earning money for their work. They have different levels of skill work on their website that allows anyone from a beginner to a professional earn some nice money on the site. The best part about the whole thing is that they consistently pay every two weeks for your work. There is also generally enough work to go around for all who want to earn some extra money.

Textbroker-Fast On Payment, Though Substandard Rates

Textbroker, I have found, provides authors with ease of website usage, but offers generally substandard pay. I personally have done well over 200 articles at the 4-star level for TB, with overwhelmingly positive feedback from clients. My compensation, however, has amounted to under 2 cents/word, which is absolute bargain basement prices, in my experience as a pro writer. Especially in light of the fact that there is always some amount of research involved, which can mean as little as $2-$3 per hour at times. Even when writing at full speed and ability, plan on making no more than, say, $30-$40 per day.

I will say that their article review and payment system is among the fastest I've encountered. So, if you're hard up and need quick cash vs. fair payment, go for it.

Text Broker

I'm new to Text Broker as a blogger but so far I really like it. The pay should be more for all levels and hopefully I can get some direct orders. Text Broker appears to be the only one that you don't have to have an URL address set up to get started. The other ones require this and it can become quite costly if you're not blogging enough.

Sometimes clients instructions are too vague, but this can offer an advantage to the writer. Staff support is exceptional and provides quick responses to all questions.

Textbroker

Textbroker is a great writing site for beginners and also for writers learning to do research on articles and learning to please customers requirements. You can not make a living on this site if your an average writer. From what I have seen and experienced myself is their pay rate is lower than most article writing publishers. What I like about them, they don't make you feel like your going to get fired the minute you make a mistake.

www.squidoo.com/SitesIRecommend I am a webmaster and a article writer. I also promote sites that I have gotten paid for. When I say paid I mean in my paypal account. I hate it when people refer sites that they never got paid on. And probably never will get paid. So if you would like to visit my site. Click the link at the top.

I have been a part of Textbroker for quite a while now

I have been a part of Textbroker for quite a while now.. and for quick extra cash for writing articles this is one of the best sites as the requirements for the articles aren't too daunting and it's something I can do in my free time. I recall the highest rate I received from an article was $3.50. Which. Is kind of low in most article-writing standards but for a beginning writer I think it was very reasonable considering I spent about 10 minutes writing it(Which can easily result in $17.50 an hour. )

In general though, I could see myself pulling out at least $500-$600 a month from the site if I worked at it on a parttime kind of work scale.

I think my most favorite thing about it is the fact that it pays to Paypal! I mean. Most writing sites want to write you a check, do direct bank transfers. Paypal is just sooo much safer and reliable. Which is a big plus in my book if a site uses it.

This accompanied with other sites can easily bank me a full-time income so I definitely will be looking into being more active with it and improving my writing skills to get more writing opportunities. I can't wait. :)

I really enjoy being a member of Text Broker

I have been a member of the Text Broker for almost 6 months and I write and submit articles or blogs according to whatever the order requests. It is extremely easy to do. I have made over $50 since I started. I not only make a little money on the side, but I am also learning a lot about how to write correctly and learning about products and just different things in general. If you are a writer and would like to make a little extra money then Text Broker is for you. I have already recommended to many friends and family of mine.

Convenient and quck to get started

I just turned in my first assignment to Textbroker last night, so I can't comment on how prompt they are with payment just yet. However, I was pleased that they gave my sample article a 4 rating, which immediately qualified me for higher paying jobs. The only problem I've had thus far was finding the client's instructions to be a bit vague. While I'm confident my article was well written, I'm left hoping that I gave the client what he was asking for. Otherwise, I found the system easy and convenient to use if you want to start writing immediately.

It Is What You Make It

One of the things that I like about Textbroker is that practically anyone can write for them, you don't have to be a professional writer.

Some articles on Text Broker take a lot of research and, therefore a lot of time, but there are some articles that you can write using your mind alone, and you can earn a lot quickly with those.

One thing I don't like is that there aren't usually a whole lot of subjects that I feel qualified to write about - there are a lot of health related articles that need to be written, so if you know a bit about health care related subjects you could earn quite a bit.

The Perfect Place for Amateur Writers

I really enjoy writing for textbroker. They have a variety of articles to choose from. You don’t make a lot of money for the articles, but you can do as many as you like. I’m on level 3 but if you get a level 4 than the pay is higher and a level 5 is professional writers. The client has 72 hours to accept or send back the article for revision, or just decline it, but they normally give you a chance to revise the article before they decline it. If the client doesn’t make a decision in that amount of time than the client automatically gets charged for the article and you get paid. Some clients accept the article the same day and others may take up to two days. Textbroker pays twice a month they are usually on time, sometimes a bit earlier.

A Great Way to Make Decent Money

I've been writing for textbroker.com for two months now. I've earned about $150 from writing 37 different articles. This was my first attempt to make money writing and my success here has inspired me to go on to bigger and better things. And that is what Text Broker is good for - a couple hundred bucks a month or to see whether or not you are good enough to write freelance. I was placed at level 3 to begin with, but 36 of my 37 articles were rated 4 so I am not level 4. It is definitely worth it to reach level 4 - I don't take level 3 articles anymore because they just aren't worth my time. Level 5 is not really worth attaining, though, unless you are specifically looking for direct orders.

I love the format of Text Broker - it is super easy to use and get paid. I have never had a problem with Text Broker and have only ever had one problem with a client.

Textbroker Author

I found the site easy to use and fairly rapid in response. They do continually review and upgrade authors 'star' ratings. So, authors are able to improve and have that improvement reflected. However, finding articles to write has been a bit challenging. I try to write about what I know. Because much of what is available often appears to be for advertising copy, I sometimes cannot find an article for several days.

Textbroker does credit promptly and does provide specific guidelines which are easy to follow.

I enjoy working this site, although accumulating enough for a payout is a challenge.

Love this company

As a writer I'm constantly looking for a way to make a few extra dollars, and with text broker I couldn't be happier. I wrote articles on what they had listed which were fairly good topics. I had no time limit which I enjoyed. I thought the "grade" they gave my essays was fair, and I was very happy being able to transfer the money right into my pay-pal. I didn't have to pay any upfront costs, and I didn't have to complete an application or anything. As soon as I signed up I got an email with my first list of essay topics. If your a descent writer and like to get money, text broker is for you.

Text Broker is a great site for writing articles

I have been a member of Text Broker for a few months now and my experience with them has been great for me so far. There are many jobs that you can choose from for writing articles from their site. The good thing is that they do pay twice per month and by pay-pal. I would highly recommend this site for individuals who are very good in writing in English and have a thorough understanding and patience that is needed in writing good quality articles as I believe this is key for anyone to earn good money from that site. This site is legit and they do pay as I have been paid many times.

Good place to start out

I have been with Textbroker for a few months now, I like the service itself, the jobs are plentiful and I can write whenever the mood strikes, but there are some drawbacks. You can only choose one article at a time, so if you get stuck on something you are dead in the water until you finish. Also, they only pay out twice a month, so if you need some fast cash this is not the place to look. But, they did take a chance on me when I had no experience and helped pave the way to better options for me.

Textbroker is Great for Freelance Writers

I joined Textbroker about five months ago. I was really excited when they approved my application because when I first tried to apply they had a waiting list. I was first accepted at a level three, but then progressed on to a level four. For each level, up to five, your rate of pay per word goes up. I like the large selection of titles that they have to choose from, and many of them are simple and fun to write. To me, Textbroker is a great opportunity for the freelance writer to earn extra money. They now pay twice per month via Paypal, and it's always prompt. They always have a large selection of titles to choose. Another great feature of Textbroker is that if you consistently write quality articles for a specific client, he may choose you for direct orders, where he will hire you specifically to write all his articles. Textbroker is a great company for freelance writers to gain experience and earn a generous income.

Great For Newbies

I have done a number of articles over the past 8 months and I like the site.

There are a number of jobs you can pick from. However the pay is low. But, if you are new to writing articles, as I am, it is a great place to "get your feet wet". It is a good place to learn and it is free to join.

Their grading system can feel a bit harsh, and that does make it impossible to get the better articles to write. But the input does motivate you to become a better writer.

The thing I like the best is that they do pay on time.

A Reasonable Service for Beginning Freelancers

From the point of view of an author, I think that Text Broker is a reasonable and beneficial way to begin making money as a freelancer. The initial assessment gives authors a good gauge of their writing abilities so that they begin to improve. Writing for the web is a huge industry and the types of articles requested on Text Broker allow novice copywriters and content writers to gain exposure to a range of subjects, writing styles, marketing techniques, etc. Many people see the prices as being too low, but considering that most of the articles require either little research or resources collected quickly online, it is unreasonable to expect higher payment. Since it is a "for hire" service, the content belongs to the buyer and there is no long-term earning potential for the articles. While some people can make a living working on Text Broker, it is not necessarily designed to provide a full-time salary and is a perfect way for people from various backgrounds and different living/work situations to make some extra cash each month. Overall, it is a great service.

Still Debating Textbroker

I signed up for Textbroker & was rated 4--which I think is a good place to start (not too much higher to go). I immediately found a topic to write on and my first article was accepted and I got paid around $3. Not bad for an article, although given it's only a one time payment not so great either. I haven't written anymore articles for Textbroker because I am a bit turned off that you can't earn anything past the one time payment. I'd rather write for eHow or Associated Content and write on a topic I choose, for the most part a length I choose, and be able to continue to earn passive income. However, if you're looking for immediate gratification through immediate payment and would rather have someone tell you what to write about rather than come up with a topic yourself, Textbroker may be for you.

I love Text Broker!

Text Broker is an amazing site. I have no complaints about this site. I was looking for a website not too long ago that would pay me to type or write articles online when I came across Text Broker. I am proud to say that I have met payout a few times, but it did take a lot of effort. For starters I had to right a sample essay, just to qualify as a author. As far as the pay, I had to write a few articles before I was no longer skeptical about the website. They did in fact pay, so I do believe that they are legit. I would have to say that I would recommend Text Broker to anyone who likes to type or blog, because it's really fun to work and actually get paid for your time. But if you are like me you will eventually move on to find more pay per post.

A Good Way To Earn

I have been writing for Text Brokers for over a year now. I honestly can say for those who like to write short articles, it is a legitimate way to earn money. You won't get paid much, but the variety of topics is plentiful and you are rated on your writing so the higher your rating is the more topics there are to choose from. I highly recommend this site.

Really like it

Textbroker is great for anyone getting into writing content for pay. There are a lot of topics to write about. The pay is ok, sometimes being around a penny per word. That can quickly add up! They will make you take a test to determine how good of a writer you are. This is how they determine how much you will get paid. Even if you score lower on the test, the longer you stay with them and more content you produce, you will gradually earn more. The minimum payout is $10. You can easily reach this with just a few articles. This is a great site to get started on!

Not the Best, I Did Earn Some Money Though

I was so excited when I heard about Textbroker a few months ago. I thought I would be able to make a good amount of money from this site the way people were talking. First of all the pay is the greatest. Five star writers get offered the most money, but there is hardly ever five star articles to do available. There are tons of job available for 1 to 3 star writers, but being an experienced writer I will not write a 500 word article for $2.15. The topics are always so boring. I have $5.50 in my Textbroker account. I couldn't even reach payout because I didn't like writing for them. There are definitely better sites out there. Even though I am not too fond of Textbroker, you can still make some money with this site and they do pay. My friend works for them and she writes 100 articles a week and makes $400 a week. If you are looking for some quick cash and don't mind working for little pay then this is definitely the site for you.

Great way to make quick money for writers

Text Broker is a great way for freelance writers to earn money. I have been a member for about a year now and they have always paid me on the dates expected. Text Broker offers a large list of assignments which are available to each member. The service is great, however you must present a sample of your writing to get accepted into the program. They rate your writing sample and fit you into a category. The more advanced categories or rankings make more money per word.

The main thing about Text Broker is being paid by word. You could write a small essay of about 300 words and be paid one cent per word. Imagine that, a cent for every word you type. I feel that this program is a wonderful opportunity for any enthusiastic freelance writers to try.

I would recommend Text Broker to everyone mainly because you are paid for writing at your own level. There is no real strain to be an amazing writer. The excellent service offered by Text Broker is why I rate it an A+.

Text Broker

I have been with Text Broker for a few months now. The articles they have available for you to write can be difficult and must be researched a lot of times. Sometimes the research needed does not seem worth it for the amount of money you get for your article. It is a great site though for those just getting into writing online for money!

Pretty good site to improve your writing skill and earn some money

When I signed up for Text Brokers, I was pretty surprised to see that they actually took a writing test of me before letting me write articles. This is unlike many other websites and it is a good way to make sure that their clients are getting the best articles. I liked this idea.

When I passed the writing test, they gave me rating to show how good I am. At first, I didn't get paid quite as much. But after working on this website for a month, my writing skills and rating improved greatly. Now I get more clients and earn a larger amount of money. This site is a great site for all the young writers out there. And you get paid for improving your skills! So, overall, I would recommend this site to everyone that likes to write.

A place to get your writing feet wet

I just recently signed up with Text Broker because I heard it was a good way to get your feet wet writing. Their pay scale is based on your writing grade. I received a 3 on my first submission which I hear is pretty average. I have written a couple of articles and still remain a 3 for right now. From what I have read, you need to submit quite a few articles and get good feedback before you can be upgraded to a 4 where the pay is a little better. If a client likes your work you are also given the opportunity to work directly for them where the pay is even higher. I'm not sure if there is a lot of money to be made, but I'm going to give it a shot and see how it goes. They do pay on time, I think you just need to choose what you write about carefully so you don't waste too much time researching.

SEO writing

This site is a great opportunity for those who like to write within guidelines. You get paid for every word that you write and most of the articles have to do with SEO. The amount you make is usually about a penny per word so for 300 words you would make $3. The most common articles are between 250 and 300 words.

I have found some 1,000 word and even up to 3,000 word articles. These are nice because with 1,000 words I was able to make $10 which is the required minimum for payout. There are always plenty of orders and some can be on the same subject. So if you write one article you can sometimes write articles on the same subject right after to increase the earnings a bit.

I have always been paid by this site and my payment was always on time. Unlike some other sites where I had to hound the support in order to find out where my payment was, this site is truly impressive for authors and recommended for anyone who wants to make some money writing short articles online.

So far so good with me

I started working for Textbrokers about two months ago. I was a bit skeptical when I first started because It looked so plan. Yes I know, I shouldn't judge a book by it's cover. And I will be the one to admit that I was wrong.

They are unlike a lot of the other writing websites. They actually made me take a writing test when I first started. Once they accepted me, they gave me a rating between 1-5. They use the rating to decide what work you can and can't take.

I like Text brokers because they make it easy for me to maneuver through the site. Another thing I like about Textbrokers is that they paid me and that is always a plus for me.

The one thing I would want then to change is there client descriptions. I get a lot of article request that aren't clear. So most of the time I'm guessing what the client wants. Other than that I like Textbrokers, they might give Associated content a run for their money.

So far Text Broker is a pretty good site

I just joined Text Broker a few months ago and have only written for them this past week, but so far so good. My sample article came back with a grading of a 3, so that is decent. I have written a couple of articles for them just the other day. They seem to take a while to get back to you on if it was accepted or not. For a 500 word article they generally pay around $3.50 which is comparable to AC - Associated Content. The site is simple to use, and I'd say that it is excellent for a beginner who wants to try writing reviews. I'd advise you to keep a copy of what you submitted to them just in case it gets denied, for I am not sure if they keep a record of your writing or not. If they deny your work, there are plenty of other sites that would take a 500 word essay on a product.

My Textbroker Experience

I have been writing for Textbroker for several months now and am overall satisfied with the experience. I have been promoted to a higher rating and have begun to receive direct orders from clients. I haven't started playing around with my rate too much yet, as I would like to build a better client base first.

The first thing I would like to note is that this is not easy unless you have the dedication and the patience to put up with poor paying assignments at first. Since the payout is only $10 you can at least get your compensation fairly quickly, but it does take time to build up.

If you are looking to make substantial money from this site, it is possible. The most important thing to remember is to find articles that have subjects you are at least somewhat familiar with so that research time is kept to a minimum. I believe that you can reach a point where you have enough knowledge gained through the article writing that you can produce quality articles at a fairly quick pace.

The second thing I want to note however, is that this site gives you the tools and the learning curve to be able to expand your writing experiences to other sites and not have to depend on this one solely. As others have stated, the article pool is not always full, and the lower start articles outnumber the higher ones.

All in all, I believe Textbroker.com is a fantastic way to earn money, and I will certainly continue to work for them.

I Love Text Broker!

I absolutely enjoy writing articles. So naturally I start up a website, however that is a VERY stressful, tedious, and just a plain hard process. On top of that, I haven't had any nibbles for advertisement so it isn't bringing in any money. Text Broker takes that all away, FAR away.

Not only do I improve my writing skills, but I also make a considerable amount. I've only been a member for a little while now, and it's all just positive experience. I hope to get to the point where people will actually come to me for my work. Theoretically you could make a living off this. Although I don't think I'll ever get to that point, Text Broker has been teaching me, inspiring me, and earning me some serious money. A+

My Overall Experience

I signed up with Textbroker several months ago. Although the website isn't exactly easy to navigate at first, it doesn't take long to figure it out. The pay per article is based on a rating system and although it's not fantastic pay, it is a nice way to earn some extra money if you are good at writing various articles. There are several different subjects to choose from and it's pretty clear on exactly what they are seeking in each article. The only drawback is that the past few weeks there hasn't been as much work listed as when I first started here. Overall, I do think that it's still a worthwhile place to pick up "fill-in" work if you're a writer.

Payment too low

When I was blogging for quite a while, I wanted to make money with my articles. One way was to put them on my blogs and get paid for the ads on my blog. The other way was Text Broker-like sites. The first option didn't work for me, because back then I just had not enough traffic.

So I tried this Text Broker thing I found. I thought it was great. I got a three star rating from my sample article, which is not that bad. And then I looked for an assignment. Their assignments are classified in categories and levels. You can't pick an assignment with a level higher than your own.

Their site was quite easy to use. I have written some articles, just to try it out. Most of my articles were accepted by the clients and the money started to flow in the pocket. But I was disappointed about the price they pay you. In writing an article, I put about half an hour of work. I guess the minimum someone should pay me for my half an hour of work is at least $5. But they pay less. I could make more money just with easy chores somewhere in a supermarket.

Well, I reached my payout, got paid but quit then. It wasn't paying enough.

Text Broker Is Great

I started writing for Text Broker about 3 months ago. At first I was skeptical because I couldn't find a lot of information about the site but after my first payout in just 3 days my mind was put at ease. I've received 4 payouts from the site since joining as a writer and love that they pay out every 2 weeks straight to your Paypal. Payout is usually made within 24 hours of the deadline twice per month. For the amateur freelance writer this site is a great start for some extra cash each month.

I Love This Site

I've worked with textbroker for about a month or so, I found the service at Textbroker very excellent indeed. If you really like writing I would say this site is the one for you. On there site there are always loads of assignments to choose from, and loads added each and every day which is a really good bonus for there service. I also like the payment rates they offer, unlike other sites out there they offer pretty reasonable rates. Depending on quality of you're work for professional quality work they pay around 25USD per every 500 words. They offer payment via Paypal account twice a month. I would recommend this site to anyone into writing and looking to earn some extra cash.

There are it's ups and downs

I began writing on Text Broker about 2 and a half months ago. There are many articles to write on and I have been paid legitimately. My largest pay amount for on article was about $10. It was amazing! Some clients are really picky while some take it as it is and are grateful. I have made about $108 so far and still writing. If you love to write, then try this site out! I have made a good amount of money because I am always writing so why not get paid for it?

My Text Broker Experience

I signed up with Text broker at the first of the year, and I enjoy writing for them when I have time. In the beginning there were always articles to choose from; however they seem to be at a slow point right now.

The pros to Text broker are they pay via PayPal biweekly, you only have to have a $10 account balance to receive a payout, it is a great place to start for the beginner freelance writer (no experience required), and they have a very user friendly website. You can also get offered direct orders from clients that will pay more.

The cons are they have long review times after articles have been accepted and the pay is low compared to other sites.

I would recommend this site to anyone wanting to make a little extra money writing. Also, this is the place to start if you want to get into freelance writing, but you do not have any experience. The editors are very nice and helpful with their reviews. I have gotten quite a bit of tips that have helped me from them.

Not a Big Fan of Text Broker

I signed up with Text Broker over a year ago and still haven't reached payout. There was some hassle in the past because people were hiring authors to write articles and paying them very little money. Another site hired writers for $15/article and this person claimed articles from that site and hired writers for $5/article. Once that happened, I quit writing. I do know a lot of people who use it and are happy though.

Pretty nice website, can be confusing when you first use it

At first when I found out about this website, I thought the site was very confusing. I didn't know the difference between 'For Clients' and 'For Authors', but after using it for awhile, I realized the difference. Another thing I found confusing was how TextBroker worked at the start, it was not like other sites where they would offer you a price and you write something and then you would get payed, and the 'Assignment' part confused me too.

A bonus with TextBroker is the fact that it is International. I have searched Google for a lot of websites where I could make money. I usually find a lot of people mentioning a few specific websites, but then when I visit the website, I find out that they do not accept International Users, and that they will only accept users from USA or UK etc.

Personally, I would advise people wanting to make a little bit more money to try TextBroker out. Do not drop it instantly if you do not know what you're doing, slowly read the FAQ and see how everything works, and you will be fine!

Good for New Freelance Writers

I've worked with Textbroker for five months now and found them useful for building Internet writing experience. I have, however, found that their writer pay rates are lower than market value.

Textbroker does allow their writes to take "direct orders" from clients and set their own rate for those services. While this can be more lucrative, it takes time to build up your reputation to the point where clients specifically request your services.

On the positive side, Textbroker’s clients are generally looking for simple, short SEO content, which makes it easy for writers to complete the articles quickly. They also have a wide range of topics available to write on—from computers to finance to fashion.

In short, Textbroker is a good choice for the new freelance writer looking to build up their resume and get a feel for writing SEO articles. For more experienced writers, Textbroker does offer opportunities to make a fair wage; it just takes a significant amount of time and work.

Textbroker too picky

I used to write for textbroker, and I liked it for awhile. I wrote over 40 articles which their clients accepted. I was paid, and thought it was an excellent working partnership. Textbroker insisted on rating my articles lower than the two stars that it required to write for them. Consequently, what was a successful partnership, no longer worked for me. Maybe if you are a professional writer it will work for you. I thought it was unfair when the clients accepted the articles and paid for them, I think they should have given me a higher rating for the articles I produced.

Love this site!

If you like writing, then this is a great site for you! I've been a member there for about a month or so, and I must say I really enjoy it. There are always many assignments to choose from, and I like that you get paid per word instead of a random amount that they offer like some other sites. You can also get a "raise" on how much you earn per word according to how well you write which is a great bonus!

I have only written a few articles as I haven't had the time to participate as much as I want to, but I would really recommend this site to anyone that likes to write as a way to make some extra cash!
