TopSurfer is an advertising membership program that allows members to earn advertising credits through participating in some site activities and through purchases. This program lets members exchange their credits for visits to their website through surfing, promotional links and banner advertising. Members can also recruit others to the program and earn credits and/or cash from their downlines’ activities.
Stan Thompson’s TopSurfer program works on a credit system. You join the program and you surf to earn credits or you purchase credits, and you can use those credits for different types of advertising. You can trade credits for visits to your website, banner advertising within the program and promotional emails to other members. They make it a little more interesting to surf for credits by allowing you to play games like solitaire or bingo while you do.
One of the first things that you’ll notice about the TopSurfer program is that there is a huge difference between free membership and paid membership. With a free membership you get 100 sign-up credits, you can surf for advertising credits and purchase advertising credits, and then use those credits for your own advertising within the program. You can earn advertising credits when your referrals surf as well. That’s the extent of what you can do.
With what the TopSurfer calls a “wholesale membership”, you get 1500 sign-up credits, credits toward placing an ad in the program newsletter and earn cash when your referrals upgrade to a paid membership or when they surf. You also get free website templates, discounts on extra credit purchases, some software programs and the ability to bribe members by offering them credits to join other programs that you belong to. Paid membership to TopSurfer is $10 per month, or you can get a discount by paying for a few months at a time. That price actually isn’t too bad if you want to get serious about using all that this program has to offer.
TopSurfer falls somewhere in the middle when it comes to the popularity of traffic exchange programs. They do deliver in what they offer to people, but there are some problems that are brought up about the program. It’s nice that they offer games to play while people are surfing websites for credits, but that means there’s even less chance that these same people are actually looking at the websites. There are also complaints that the program website can be confusing to navigate. People who want to give this program a try might do well to test it at the free level for a while at first to see if they want to take it any further.

Topsurfer-you can earn money and hits There are a few things to be aware of. Free members have to surf at least 50 sites a week to be in priority status, i. e. , actually get your site circulated. If you're upgraded, you don't have to do that. You don't have to be upgraded to surf for cash and you can read solo emails for cash. Payout is $10.

One Of The Highers Payment Commission in the industries Seriously this is the best site to earn extra money and visitors without spending a lot of money and efforts. I joined topsurfer in 2010 and total I have made in free money till now is $40+ and you also have the opportunity to sell wholesale memberships to other network marketers and get your money back.

Topsurfer scam I have used TopSurfer for a couple months. Overall it was ok, till cashout. The same day as I normally would have received my 1st payment, my account was paused. After contacting TopSurfer, they said I was surfing with a 200 x 440 browser, which is totally untrue as I always surf full screen with firefox and use different tabs. I have tried the 200 x 440 config and it is not possible to surf this way.For me it is clear, they invent excuses for not having to pay and so TopSurfer is a scam! |

Tried and was not impressed I have bought the wholesale membership and got 5000 credits with it which I spent right away. Got lots of views to my sites but not a single sale. I have also tried their solo ads which then cost 50 bucks. I got lots of views and also opt ins but no sales. So this kind of traffic just does not convert.

No website conversion at all I just wanted to say, I thought this website would have sent many people to my website. But this did not happen. I paid for the wholesale member, still no conversions. I think the only thing that was good about this site is you have the opportunity to earn money. They have a cool surf bar, but still not enough money.. I will be bailing out on this one soon.

It's not what I expected I'm a free member of Topsurfer since about 1 year. Earning visitors and a little cash, at the same time, seemed to be a good deal. My experience: Nice and easy to navigate. You can accumulate credits quickly but they’re not dispatched fast enough. Expensive solo ads that other members only open to earn credits (personally, I don’t read any …and I’m sure I’m not the only one!) At the beginning, there was no surf limit and they only verified the member’s presence every 35 pages. Now, they’ve put a surf limit for all members and they verify excessively the member’s presence (really boring). Since January 2011, I finally reached 10$, so I filled in the required forms to receive my cash. After filling in the forms several times and contacting the webmaster to claim my cash… I’m still waiting! Conclusion: Not enough visits and no cash. I will not recommend this site in my circle. |

I agree with the others I have tried TopSurfer for a while and while I did get a few clicks for my sites, it's not impressive. I thought it was just my ignorance of how traffic exchanges worked, but no. Haven't tried paid, because free didn't do anything. Really a waste of my precious time.

TopSurfer is Fantastic I have been using TopSurfer for several months. I have in that time accumulated 10's of thousands of credits. It is an easy site to use if you want cash and advertising. Yes, there are games available but it IS NOT a game site. As for the spam complaints above, they do send out solo ads to it's members. If you open a free email account, ie gmail, you can have all the ads sent to that address, keeping your primary email account untouched. Those emails will PAY you if view them. My signature will show my recent payouts. Take another look at TopSurfer. |

Good site but not recommended I signed up for TopSurfer some weeks ago when I was looking for a way to promote my site. This is one of those traffic-exchange sites I was looking for the fact that it has games, I immediately signed up knowing that you can exchange those credits. What happened was that they sent spam mails to my registered email and I realized that those games do distract surfers. They don't actually notice the ads when they play. So it's not a good site to promote. It has a good interface but I think it's not for me. I would recommend these to those looking for income in doing stuff but not for advertising. |

Big fan of Top Surfer I am a big fan of Top Surfer. It is one of my favorites for a few reasons. First, the site is really easy to navigate. They make it easy for free members to accumulate credits. You can surf with 1:1 ratio or view emails for 5 credits each. These ads can be viewed right on the site or from your email. I do not really play the games. I surf for .02 cents every 35 pages. If you surf every couple of days and view a few emails, your sites will have enough credits to be seen the days you do not surf. The solo ads are kind of pricey for me so I have stayed away. But I have made plenty of connections through the traffic exchange. I recommend this site to all marketers for both exchange and email ads. If you can afford solo ads, try them. I might not use the emails, but I definitely read them for the credits to keep my sites shown and I am sure I am not the only one.

Games Promote Ad Blindness I stopped using this exchange long ago because I always got a poor click through rating from this exchange. I finally realized that since this exchange provides a game above the ads when you are surfing, people pay more attention to that the the webpage being displayed. I also thought about sending solo ads instead, as they boast a great click through rate, and there is no game above your site when you place them. Only thing is, those solo ads are just so darn expensive. Maybe it is worth it, but I'm not willing to test it at more than $60 for the mailing. My advice, the manual exchange is only for views, don't expect any action. And if you are just starting out, don't waste money on the solo ads that may or may not bring you results. |

Don't Waste Your Time I was a member of TopSurfer a couple of years ago but didn't feel it was worth the effort. The interface is nice. They have different types of activities (like games, chat) to distract you while you are surfing. But if people are busy playing games while they are surfing, they're not looking at your ads. Another reason I stopped using it was that my websites weren't getting a lot of views each day. I had credits available, they just weren't being used up very fast. I'm not a big fan of traffic exchanges, but if you are going to use them, there are better ones than TopSurfer.

Not recommended I signed up for TopSurfer a few weeks ago and it looked promising but now I wish I hadn't signed up. I did earn some credits but it was only very little. Also, what's the point in earning credits if you have to spend actual money on other stuff to get credits? After a few days my email inbox was flooded with spam and it just kept on coming in. I also think the games distract people too much, they don't look at the ads. I've advertised once on TopSurfer but barely saw an increase to my website. The good thing is that you get some credits to start with, but it took me 2 weeks to gather enough to actually do something with it. I recommend you stay away from this site and use other services on the internet. |

Top Surfer is pretty lame For starters what I would have wanted to know was that in order for my account to be active, I'd have to surf 20 sites. What drew me into this site was the free membership and the free 100 credits, and me being a gamer type, I also was intrigued by the idea of playing games and surfing. Now what I did not like about this site was that in order to have an "active" account, you are required to surf 20 sites. I also did not like that the only place to assign credits for traffic are to the auto surf bar. As for the games, they are mostly automatic, so you are not actually playing them, but the computer is playing them for you. As for what I did like about this site, I'll be honest here, NOTHING! I was not really impressed at all and I never got any traffic to my site! I still have my site with them, but I am not about to purchase credits for $20 or more. I could use my money for better things. My results were that I did not receive any type of traffic to my site. |

Great site, but didn't bring me any traffic I joined Top Surfer because I was attracted to the free 100 advertising credits they give you just for signing up. It is a free site, after all, so what have I got to lose? I was amazed to see that there is more than just surfing for credits in this site. Credits can also be earned by playing games or referring other members. I have not referred anybody to Top Surfer but I did earn a few credits by trying out there games. Sounds like a lot more fun than clicking on ads and waiting for timers to finish. I converted my earned credits along with my bonus credits to traffic for my site. It sure does feel good to get traffic without having to pay for it. However, free as it is, it didn't help at all bring traffic to my site. A nice site, but didn't work for me, maybe others would find this site more interesting than I do.

Give it a go! A good site to join for free I joined TopSurfer because it was free. I like joining free sites because that way if they do not pan out, I am not out anything but my time. Plus I loved how they gave me 100 free credits for signing up. I appreciate that. You can earn credits just by looking at others sites, and then in turn you can spend those credits getting a banner on TopSurfers network or by placing ads. I have found this site to be easy to use as well and it was easy setting up a free account. |

Lots of email Be prepared for your inbox to be flooded with email. It is a little interesting to use for a short period of time if you want to see what other people are pushing at the moment and possibly get some marketing ideas for your own things. I did find a few things of interest but I really don't have enough free time on my hands to read all the email that they send. But with the free account, the price is right. Steve |

Playing or Reading? I joined this site because it offers free membership. I already joined a lot of traffic site but this one is more interesting because I can play two of my favorite game, solitaire and bingo. I had fun surfing because in reality I was actually playing the games. In my case, I really don't mind if people visiting my site is playing or really looking at my website. I am looking for traffic and not readership. I give the site a just OK marks because of the difference of a free membership and a paid membership. For one, there is a huge difference on the sign up bonus. Another thing is, the play option is not a good thing for those looking for readers. So if you are looking for a site that will give you sign ups for your product, this is not your site. Lastly, they offer a lot of promos and most of it are priced just right. |

Pretty lame There's nothing I would've wanted to know before joining that I couldn't find via the home page. What I liked the most about it was that I could play games while surfing which I haven't seen anywhere else. What I didn't like is when it hit me that if I was hardly looking at any ads due to playing games while surfing, mine probably weren't being seen by others. Also, I didn't like all the emails I received from the site and especially that if I unsubscribed from them there would go my whole TopSurfer account. My specific results were that I kept it for about a half a year I guess just for the novelty of the games and seeing poor advertising results coupled with those nagging emails I finally got tired of it and unsubscribed. |
