Traffic Era Description

Traffic Era is a traffic exchange service where you visit the sites of other members in order to earn credit (called PV). The PV then is used to have other people visit your site. What makes this traffic exchange different from others is that credits are built as a team rather than building it by yourself.

Traffic Era Detailed Overview

Traffic exchanges are one of the cheapest ways to get traffic to your site and have been around for years. There are many different services out there on the market, but Traffic Era departs from the traditional exchange systems and stands out amongst their competitors.

First of all, there are 4 different ways members can earn credits with Traffic Era. The first is the most obvious: you can surf and view other member’s sites to earn credits. The second is that you can advertise your own page that has referral links to Traffic Era. Third, you are put in Traffic Era’s banner exchange network. And lastly, there are many tools which can be used to network with other members, further increasing exposure to your site.

Rather than go it alone, Traffic Era is different because it relies on teams. You join a team which has 25 members and a team leader. The team with the most credits each week gets 20,000 extra credits. This gives members motivation to get involved with surfing and also gives responsibility to each team member.

It seems to me that Traffic Era decided to upgrade the traditional surf for traffic model. I was impressed that they integrate many different ways to earn credits. It really helps you build credits and get more traffic to your site. Unlike many other traffic exchanges, they’ve also made sure they are on the lookout for cheaters that use software to automate the surfing process.

I found that I started receiving a decent amount of traffic but the main issue with Traffic Era is that members are really focused on surfing to earn credits for their team. That means they develop ad blindness and don’t really take the time to look at the sites while they are surfing. Traffic Era also doesn’t supply many marketing pieces to help build your downline for more credits.

I also noticed that if you want to get a good amount of traffic, you need to upgrade account. Free members receive low credit ratios, so you need to at least get the silver membership. Traffic Era also has a team system, so if your team is not motivated, you won’t build as many credits because surfing alone limits your credit earnings.

Traffic Era Reputation

There have been mixed reviews with Traffic Era. Some people have reported little or no results while others have praised the service. Personally, I got only a few subscribers and sales compared to all the effort I put in. Does it work? Yes, but you should stick to better methods of generating traffic rather than spending countless hours with this service.

The one thing about Traffic Era is that it helps you network with other marketers. This can really help you if you are marketing to the Internet marketing crowd, but if you’re in a niche market and you’re looking for new contacts, I recommend you stick to other marketing forums. The best way to see if Traffic Era is right for you is to open a free account and test it out.

TrafficEra, is it worth the while?

I registered a new account at TrafficEra a year ago with the primary expectation of promoting my money making blog. I joined a top team and started with a high enthusiasm about the project. I was never so much into Traffic Exchanges because I thought that it is too much the time you have to devote into them. Before that, I was using only the top first TE. The site is indeed professionally developed with so many things you have to learn in meanwhile. TrafficEra's traffic results are poor in my opinion in the terms of sign ups and quality traffic. The bounce rate in Google analytics is something between 85-90%. Meaning, that almost nobody selects to visit a second page while surfing. Common issue at TEs but I was expecting better results at TrafficEra because of the extra feature it has. Socializing is the best you can have at TrafficEra and believe me or not, I have met people whom I would like to make company in the real life. So, the site can be used as a platform of promotion using the contact and groups option.

Bottom line: If you want to surf there don't do it alone as well as create a large list of contacts if possible.

Traffic Era

Signed up a few months ago. In the beginning, website was very difficult to understand and navigate through but figured it out. I didnt realize I had to earn credits in order to become fully active. You have to surf pages in order to make the website work, earn credits, and bring "hits" to whatever you are promoting. It didnt realy bring me much more traffic than I already was getting. But every little bit helps... I guess

Got a lot of referrals from Traffic Era

It was more than three months ago when I discovered Traffic Era. The site layout was good and I thought that I will be able to get some new referrals with the traffic exchange. I tried it and I have to say that it proved to be a lot better than I expected - maybe even one of the top traffic exchanges I have tried. The process of earning credits was not much time consuming and just after around an hour of surfing I was able to earn enough and assigned the credits to some referral links. So the traffic started coming and after a few days I was already able to get around ten referrals for the site I was promoting. I was really surprised of the high quality traffic I received. I was just amazed that it was coming from a traffic exchange site. One thing I didn't like was that the site features were very limited and the only way to promote is by ads. You can't create text and banner ads. Overall I had great experience with Traffic Era and I am recommending giving it a shot since there's just nothing to lose.

Great site!

First of all, this site was awesome with team work. We don't have to surf all by ourselves we have team. Moreover, they have a lot of contests that we can win big just for surfing.

I joined this site from a forum and at first my credits and token were really small that you can't do anything with it. But someone asked me to join the team. I think people are seeking for new teammates a lot, so everyone will have a chance to join a team. I got 2,3 offer to join team, and I chose the biggest one, because bigger means better.

And after a couple days, my credits went up so quickly.

It's a great site to join.

I think this site is fun!

This site is based on teamwork. You are put into a team and then you start surfing other people's sites. I do not get many hits to my blog that way, but for the past two weeks my team has won the 20,000 credits twice. I am totally stoked to have a lot of hits to my site for free. I find it fun to be competing against other teams. It adds spice to a traffic exchange. This is not one of your typical traffic exchange sites. I have joined this past month and I have gotten good referrals to my blog from using Traffic Era. I have been suggesting this traffic site to my friends and they like it as well. I have gotten three referrals so I have gotten a little boost. I have a free membership because I do not have the need to advertise more than three sites. So I am at a good standing right now! :)

No help for ceo experts

I’m not very fond of this program. It’s not helpful for ceo experts, but a beginner can do a great job with it. The credit system is something I hated ever since I have started to work online. It’s too demanding and people don’t really take time to look around your web site, which is the main goal. The contest for most-viewed web sites is the worst part of this program. The good side of this program is the teambuilding. If you can start your own team with people you’ve worked with before and they are motivated like you, the amount of traffic you can get is quite big. It’s not enough to sell your product but it can increase your page rank in google.

Quadruple your efforts working as a team!

This was another traffic website that I've had success with. If you've already worked with traffic exchange programs, you'll know how time consuming using various programs out there are to generate credits, just to give your website more exposure. Traffic Era is a large community, but has to be the most unique of them all in my opinion. What makes it stand out is that you're able to join a team with 25 members to earn traffic credits. There's a daily goal your team must reach in order to earn 1,000's of points. It's fun, you can chat with members of your team, and the people there are really nice!

10 credits equals 10-15 secs of a page viewer.

I really enjoyed waking up every morning with 5,000 free credits, which converts to 500 viewers a day.

One of my top traffic exchanges

I joined Traffic Era awhile back and it is one of my favorites. I knew I was gonna like it before I even joined because of their sleek professional look. After signing up for it I found it was really easy to accumulate traffic. After gaining tons of credits just after a day of surfing a few minutes here and there I put all of it towards one site. I really got tons of sign ups and high quality traffic through this within only a couple of days of joining. Now I have almost all of my sites on here and get almost fifteen sign ups all together a week. This is well worth the little effort I put in and it's free. The only problem with this site is that the give you traffic and that's it. They don't have anything else like text links or banner ads. Other than that it's great and I give it a B+.

Great for traffic but not much else

Traffic Era is a great opportunity to generate more traffic to your site or blog if that is all you would like to do with it. For me, I only use this site to generate more traffic as I mentioned before. There is not really much else you can do with this traffic exchange service. However, Traffic Era is different from other traffic exchanges in that it has a sleek professional look which is better than your average, boring traffic exchange look. I think this site is great for generating traffic and only that. I recommend this service for people who would like to get more traffic to their site or blog. I rate TE a solid C because of its lack of any other uses.

Not the best, but it's there

When I first joined I thought it would be good for my site traffic. Didn't work out that good, traffic did increase, but not by a high percentage.

The good thing about Traffic Era though is the teamwork. When you join a team you surf for clocks for the team. The team who wins that race to a set amount of clocks wins credits. This can't be done solo so you have to depend on others creating teamwork.

I enjoyed the site at the beginning, but it started to be almost a job to keep up with the clocks to win credits.

Seems that the people who can take a lot of advantage of this site would be those that don't really have much to do during the day and those that can create a big down-line of referrals.

Traffic Era is different, but doesn't offer much

In my opinion, Traffic Era is just another bland, run-of-the-mill exchange service. Their website is surprisingly lacking in information for looking so professional.

I did like some things with Traffic Era. The ability to bookmark the pages I was surfing, for instance, is a crucial feature I've wondered why other TE's haven't included it. I enjoy the user-run groups I can join, and I like the rank resource for up to 500 member's profiles.

Traffic Era awards tokens which can translate into more surf time for your site, but it appears that one isn't likely to win anything unless they devote their life to surfing with this site, as prizes only get redeemed by the top members.

In closing, I found Traffic Era to be too bland and confusing for my personal use.

Wondering which video games are good to play with your girlfriend/boyfriend, wife/husband?

Traffic Era is different and full of fun

I have been using Traffic Era for more than a week. At first I was confused with the program. Traffic Era is not just a traffic exchange, it is also a social community.

Traffic Era is a good place to promote referral and affiliate programs. Using Traffic Era is fun. There are lots of things to do. A member can join a team/s and create team/s. So it is the best way to interact with other members and grow an online business. At Traffic Era a member can also add blogs.

The layout of Traffic Era is quite attractive and it is also user friendly. As mentioned above Traffic Era is not just a traffic exchange, it can be regarded as a social networking site also.

I am very new at Traffic Era and am really enjoying Traffic Era.

Traffic Era OK

I Joined Traffic Era when it first started and it was great at first and was able to get plenty of referrals. What I found was it was fun to join a team and network with people, I switched teams a few times for this purpose. I also got plenty of credits by doing so and when applying them to my sites which I found to usually be a waste of time doing. I got maybe three or four signups/referrals for my different sites. Most people were and probably still are just surfing for the team and not paying much attention to the page sites themselves. I did meet my wife there so hey it might make a great dating site but traffic for sites? Yes but not if you expect signups. This is true of most TE's. It really depends on what you are expecting out of a Traffic Exchange. I found traffic Era to be great for networking. They have plenty of groups for these purposes and the teams are good for networking also. The traffic ratios aren't great unless you upgrade but that is also as usual with Traffic Exchanges. Their prices though are a bit high for what you actually get. The changes they made over time I didn't like so have left the site for other more traditional TE's. Still I think the place is OK and will check in on it in the future to see what is what there and if they have gotten better or worse in the meantime.

Waste of time

I was a member of Traffic Era for many months and surfed for hours everyday but got minimal results. Now I don't think that traffic exchanges are worth a serious marketer's time.

Though user interface is great in Traffic Era and it is easy to accumulate credits but the one thing that agonies me most is the poor conversion rates. I could generate only 4 leads after spending 4,000 advertising credits.

Not for me

Traffic Era is another traffic exchange program with a very low surf ratio (5:1) for free members. If you are trying to earn more credits with this program, you need to either join/build a team or upgrade your membership.

I felt that it is difficult to be accepted into a team because the leader doesn't know whether I will be active there. It is even harder & time consuming if I am to build my own team. Also, I am not going to pay $19.99 just to upgrade my membership for a ratio of 5:3 with some unattractive extra features.

I left Traffic Era after a few days of joining & continue with those traditional traffic exchange programs with 1:1 & 2:1 surf ratio. At least I save my time from striving with team to win the credits that I can easily earn from other programs.

A Different Type Of Traffic Exchange

Not that being different means it's better though. I joined this site a while ago and it wasn't for me then. I've recently rejoined and after having spent a long time with other traffic exchanges, Traffic Era offers more than just usual, boring clicking for ads. This site makes it more of a game, clicking to not only receive credits for running ads, but finding "clocks" which can be collected to purchase larger amounts of credits. Traffic Era also randomly awards free credits to members while they are clicking.

Of course there is an upgrading program, teams are formed and compete with each other for credits and there are also groups (which I have to admit, I haven't had the time or desire to pursue at this point)

To become a member of a team you either need to know someone, or network and become friendly with members. These members can invite you to their team or... You could start your own team and be responsible for building a team, by networking with others.

Free members can only list three websites to promote at one time. For member looking to promote several links at one time, it is clear that an upgrade is necessary for this site. As far as referrals go, well I haven't been very successful to this point, so it remains to be seen if this site will provide what I'm looking for.

For me, the free member ship works right now. Traffic Era offers a break from the old, boring, click for ad credits of it's competitors.

Traffic Era is okay at this point... I guess time will tell if it is worth the effort or not.

Becomes too confusing

I joined this site early last year, as it was given to me by my sponsor in Ameriplan. I did work with it for a few months, but it gets too confusing. As some have said here, the credit ratio is lower than most traffic exchanges at the free level, which means that you have to either upgrade or join a team in order to get a substantial amount of credits for views to your site.

When I did get a good amount of credits, I tried messing with the view rate of one of my sites. The instructions weren't very clear, but whatever I did got rid of 100 credits in seconds.

Finally, it was almost impossible to join a team. I tried joining the team Ameriplan had set up, but when I got the invitation, the team was full. I wanted to browse and try to join another team, but I didn't know where to look. You also have to be invited to a team, so even if you do find one, you have to look up the team leader and send a message requesting an invitation.

I see where TrafficEra has tried to revamp the Traffic Exchange system, and make it better for everyone, but it seems all they have succeeded in is making things more confusing.

Marketers, Are You Ready For The Truth?

What is a credit worth anyway?

Traffic Era is a decent traffic exchange to be part of although earning money with them would just be a waste of time. If you want hits, they are a good source but even that is hard to figure out. Exactly what is one exchange credit worth anyway? I know you earn 3 credits per page surfed, but I don't think anyone but the site moderators know how many visits you get with a certain number of credits. I could be missing it though. Anyway some of the competitions are fun to be a part of considering you get to choose your groups you work with. If you have some friends that would be part of your team and work hard, I'm sure you could make the site worth it.

Earning Money Online

One of my favorites

This site is one of my all time favorite traffic exchanges. I joined about a year ago and have been with them ever since. My favorite thing about this site is the bonus. But the one down side is that every visit to your website can be worth 10 to 15 credits. But with all the bonuses, you don't really need to worry about that. I was surfing today and got a 50 credit bonus. So I would recommend this site to anyone who wants to get fast traffic for their website.

Decent site

I joined but was a bit confused as what to do at first.

Once I started to get the hang of it, I realized we could get traffic to our sites a different number of ways. It's not just your normal surf for traffic site.

It has a lot of features and the site never really gets boring.

I recommend this one for anyone looking for a good traffic exchange site.

Not impressed with this one

I joined Traffic era and wasn't really impressed. I don't like the surf ratio. It takes too long to build credits in order to get my sites viewed. There are other traffic exchanges out there with a much better ratio than this one. Time is money, and I just don't have time to put in to one that takes forever to earn a decent amount of credits.

Another thing is that they send too many emails. I don't mind receiving emails on occasion from programs I'm a member of, but this one sends too many.

This is a great traffic exchange website

I've been looking around for a decent traffic exchange program and found one. I've received a good proportion of my traffic from this website. You earn credits while surfing various websites for the allotted time. You really get what you put into it. It's a very fair program.

My favorite traffic website

This is by far my favorite traffic program. I became a member to get referrals for other sites I am a member of (by using the traffic program to get views to my referral link). So far, it has been the only program that actually worked. I have gotten four referrals in less than a month which I am very happy about. It was all for joining groups and promoting the website there. That is one of my favorite things about traffic era. You can join groups and teams as a way of getting people to see your sites. I definitely recommend it to anyone looking to get traffic to their sites!

Way below average

This traffic exchange gives you 3 seconds on one of your sites for every 15 seconds you view someone else's. It takes a couple hours (4 last time) to find 10 clocks, which equals 1 token. You spend tokens on special deals for time credits and such, like 9700 time credits for 470 tokens. If your not on a team, it's not worth the time. They are also advertising that you get time credits for showing their splash pages and we used to, but not lately. I still have my account there, but it's just because I haven't bothered to shut it down.
