Service Description
WidgetQUIK is part of the Revenue Magic family and is a free membership site. Members get access to interactive widgets and splash pages that will help them earn from affiliate programs, network marketing, products, or services. There are splash page widgets that allow you to advertise up to 5 websites and a lead capture system that will allow you to turn any website into a lead capture page.
Detailed Overview
WidgetQUIK is a great way for traffic exchange owners and affiliate owners to get their members excited about promoting their products. They can use the widgets to promote your sites in exciting and innovative ways while you can also earn commissions through their use of WidgetQUIK. There are two membership levels available - free and pro. Free members get the use of one splash widget and one to-go widget. Free members also earn a $10 commission for each referral who upgrades to a pro membership level. Pro membership is an initial fee of $47.95 and then just $3.95 per month. Pro members receive:
- Access to "Pro only" splash pages and widgets and they are allowed to add up to five websites to each one.
- Opportunity to personalize the widgets with notes, comments, and personal testimonials.
- Advertisement free widgets - they will only display what you want them to.
- The opportunity to earn $25 for each referral that upgrades up until there are 5 referred members - after that the Pro member will receive $30 commission.
Commissions are paid once a member has reached the level of $30 and puts in a request. Requests are honored within 72 hours (though usually much quicker) and are paid through Paypal. As a little extra bonus - beginning in December of 2009 pro members will receive 50 cents residual commission on their first 5 referrals and $1 residual commission on each one after that.
Viral widgets are the new way to market and WidgetQUIK gets them to your easily and for free. The number of graphical widgets are growing and all of them can be used to promote your business or service. Some of the current widgets available are:
- Lead Capture System - this utility widget will allow you to turn any website into a lead capture page. Building a list is one of the most important things when it comes to internet marketing and this widget helps you do it quickly and easily.
- ToGo Social Bookmark Widget - Lets visitors easily bookmark your site so that they can return often.
- ToGo Twitter Widget - Shows your last 5 tweets on your website or blog. And, if they click it you can even build your Twitter following.
- ToGo LINK Cloud Widget - Set up a Tag cloud and have the links go directly to your programs or websites.
- ToGo Slider Widget - Add a slide up bar to any website.
- ToGo Short URL Widget - Offer your own short url service to your visitors - show them you care about helping them protect their affiliate commissions.
In addition to the utility and ToGo widgets there are various splash widgets available. These various types of splash pages enable you to promote a large number of websites with only a few splashpages.
Reputation
Widgets are one of the best ways to add a little interactive interest to your website. Anything that can engage a visitor will make them want to come back - and all of these go a long way toward that goal. The fact that they are very simple to install and offer a wide variety of uses makes it even better. Sometimes it is hard to make your blog or website stand out in the crowd and these items will go a long way toward fixing that situation.
Domain "Whois"
The Whois information for a website lists the owner and their contact information. The Whois information for "WidgetQUIK" is public which is generally a good thing. This indicates the owner of this site has nothing to hide.

New residual affiliate commission too
On 12-1-2009 a new affiliate commission was added - each month affiliates can earn up to $1 on the $3.95 monthly fee and a splash page builder system was just added as well. Good stuff. The regular splash pages are a great way to promote multiple URL's without using a URL rotator, which are typically banned in traffic exchanges. Widgetquiks system is not banned because the widgets and splash pages use images of the websites rather then the actual websites.

Great Widgets For Your Blog Or Websites
I've been a pro member at WidgetQuik since it opened and I've seen the number of different widgets grow from 4 to about 8 or so currently for the pro members, and Mark is always coming up with cool new ones he adds at no extra charge.
I will admit that I don't utilize all the widgets available for one reason or another, mainly because I haven't found a good place on my websites for some of them. The splash page widgets are cool, but they are slow to load so they don't work too well in many of the TEs.
I think the $3.95 a month fee keeps many people from upgrading after paying $49, but they are changing the comp plan to pay out from part of the monthly fee in Dec 09 which might make a difference. I mainly joined for the widgets anyway and so far only had a couple of people upgrade, so it hasn't been a big money maker for me. But the widgets are worth upgrading for, especially if you have your own website or blog.

Not bad for free membership
I joined Widget Quik because I needed some widgets for my Twitter as well as some social bookmarking sites. I thought that the site would just provide free widgets and that's it, but it turned out that I was able to use more than just the Togo Twitter widget, but I was able to use the Link Cloud widget as well. It was pretty easy, because all I needed was to input the word and the URL to the site where I want it redirected and that's it! Too bad the Splash Page creators were for Pro members only. But so far, so good. Although I don't really like that they still charge a $2 flat processing fee when requesting for payout. The minimum amount to cash out is $30, so I don't see why they have to charge a processing fee. So far, I haven't met the minimum so I couldn't really say if they do pay, and if they pay within the 72 hours that is stated on the FAQ. But I really don't mind waiting since I am able to use the widgets anyway. I feel that this is a great money earning opportunity for those who know a lot of internet marketers because they usually are the ones who make use of splash pages and would therefore be prospects to buy the pro upgrade.

Great find, and tons of widget choices
I've had a great amount of success with WidgetQUICK, and am more than happy that I joined up for the free membership. I've been a member now for three months, and I have already reached the cash out several times. They are great at paying you right away, and even though as a free member I only get to pick two of the widgets, it has definitely paid off for me. I've found the best success with the social media outlet, and the Twitter Widget has been my choice. I really like this service and am planning on upgrading to a pro membership because already I would have been able to make up the costs and will benefit from the perks of the paid membership. And as with any other referral site, I've been able to take advantage of that to make money too! I'd recommend anyone try this site out, and with the free membership you can't lose and can then make a decision from there if you want to upgrade.
