Your Lucky List (which is part of Internet Marketing Aces, LLC.) is a list building system developed by Gary Ambrose, Jennifer Ambrose, and Donald Rowell. These partners, based out of Orlando, Florida, have been together for over five years and are considered experts in internet marketing. They are often asked to speak about list building at many offline engagements.
Your Lucky List is a free system that used three separate components to make it work. It is easy to use, duplicatable, and doesn't require great techinal skills. This list building system is based on a 3x10 matrix. It also includes a dual matrix list building system, and the "Lucky" matrix which gives every member a new downline each week. The way they make this work is that they compress each matrix weekly, and the 3x10 matrix is compressed normally (meaning that inactive members are removed and other members are moved up) while the "Lucky" matrix is completely rebuilt randomly. By doing this random build, every member has the chance of being on top and having all other members in their downline. But, regardless of the members place on the rebuilt matrix, he/she will have a new and responsive downline to advertise to each week.
There is one upgrade level available, and it is the Diamond level, and it costs a one-time $197. Some of the bonuses for being a Diamond member include unrestricted access to the 3x10 dual matrix and hybrid. Diamond member can email everyone in their downline all the way to 10 levels three times a week. Plus, they are able to contact the first and second level leads in the hybrid matrix. They receive access to guaranteed prospects with each mailing and receive automated list building. Diamond members can earn a monthly residual income and build their personal downline through three levels with the automatic downline builder. These members also receive access to a hidden membership level and advertising placement for one year on YourHomeJob.com as well as a one year advertisement on CashFromHome.com and a memberhip in YourLeadMachine.com.
Both the Ambrose's and Rowell are well know in the online marketing community. They know the ins and outs of list building and are happy to share their expertise. This program is a viable way to build a personal list, though the upgrade cost is a little extreme. There is enough here to get you started as a free member, and you will be able to add a few additional people to your list. The upgrade cost is a bit steep, though the benefits are good and rather unique, it may be something to look into.

Your Lucky List I joined Your Lucky List 2 years ago and I can say that I am very pleased about it. I had a little success with my e-mails and I was able to recruit like 40 people. Each week I e-mailed the people in the matrix I was able to get a few responses. There are far better places to advertise, but I prefer this one. |

Not My Lucky List I joined free membership Jan 2010 for testing purposes and found the site is very poorly explained. Details of Paid memberships are fairly well outlined. But as a free member I couldn't find info regarding how often I could email (until after I sent one) or how many would receive it (still don't know). Also, Autoresponder is not available to free members. I haven't quit yet, but I won't bother upgrading. I can't quite fail a free service, so I rate it as 'D'.

Disappointing I joined Your Lucky List about a year ago, but I stopped using the site within 5 weeks because I was disappointed. Within my 5 weeks of experience, I had no luck with the e-mails that I sent out. I was able to recruit some people, but it didn't help much. Each week I e-mailed the people in the matrix and no matter how good my headlines were I still wasn't able to get any response. It was time consuming and stressful for me to market the products and not be able to get any results from it. In conclusion, I give this site an D because it doesn't delivers what it says. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone because you will be ignored by them. |

I joined this last year but I had no success I joined this last year, but I had no success with my emails. I wasn’t able to recruit any people. They are claiming that you will be in different matrix positions and you will have the chance to email all the people from the matrix. If people aren’t rewarded they will not be interested to read your emails or to click on your links. This is why this didn’t bring me any good results. No matter how good my headlines were it wasn’t enough for people to pay any attention to my emails. This is why I stopped using Your Lucky List.

List Building I have been a member of Your Lucky List for over 3 years, and I can only say I'm very happy with it. [I am a free member.] The matrix rebuilds itself and you get an email to let you know. I do not have 1000 members in my list, but I do have a few hundred! To me Your Lucky List is one of the best list building sites. I have used others as well, but Your Lucky List is my favorite one!

Nothing Lucky About It I joined Your Lucky List in September of 2005 after the owners (Gary Ambrose, Jennifer Ambrose, and Donald Rowell) sent me a 'private' email inviting me to become a 'founding member' of their 'brand new and improved list building matrix'. I've also been a member of their earlier program The List Machine since May 2005. My experience with both (and about two dozen other safelist programs) is far from a rewarding one. In four years, I've received a total of only six prospects placed under me by virtue of the Rotating Matrix System employed by Your Lucky List. I exhausted my bank account promoting ALL these so-called safelists for many months. I even created huge lists at two very popular paid autoresponders! I recently surveyed my loyal clientele. Not one of them became a customer as a result of an email campaign originating from a safelist program or a paid autoresponder! The reason my clients don't come from safelist campaigns is because, like most of us, they ignore email originating from those sources. We all know that the only people using those systems are inexperienced affiliates, competing for the same useless products, services, or gimmicks. You can tell by their subject line, duplicated over and over. I've actually closed email accounts because they became so flooded with all those ridiculous solicitations! Until I learned to stop marketing products and concentrate on promoting myself, I was caught in a frustrating tailspin that safelist programs feed off. Even if you do create an enormous list, it will only be dedicated to following a specific product, resulting in one time purchases, if you're lucky. By contrast, when you build an opt-in list of people who have responded to YOU, as a reputable marketer, your mail gets read and your products or services get purchased. Of course, that type of marketing takes a considerable amount of time to develop, and time is not something the majority of new marketers want to invest. That's why the get-rich-quick mentality is so prevalent in sales page rhetoric. The majority of people want immediate gratification, and will grasp at straws over and over to get it, but will never drop anchor long enough with a legitimate system to find true and lasting prosperity. |

No luck with lucky list I joined this site a couple years ago, and had no luck with the e-mails I sent out. I did try to recruit people under me, but with no success. I did gain a downline, and I e-mailed them once a week with no response. This is where I learned the trouble with non-credit based safelists. With nothing motivating them to click except your headline, many will not read your e-mail, let alone click through. I didn't get many e-mails from Your Lucky List; however I never read them because there was no incentive to do so. I knew that others felt exactly the same way, and that is when I stopped using Your Lucky List. There's no luck in any safelist mailer that doesn't have at least a little incentive to clicking. Even when your headlines are killer, many will not click through to whatever you are promoting. |

If You Don't Have Referrals... You Might as Well Send Mail to Yourself! I joined Your Lucky List over a year ago and still receive mail from them. The problem is that I cannot send mail to anyone since I have not referred members to the program. This is far from the description of this site and service. They claim that you will be put into different matrix positions and able to mail the entire matrix below you. Sounds great, but if you do not refer then there is never anyone to send to. The wording in the description of this service would lead you to believe that you get placed in a different position every so often and are thus able to mail members that you did not refer. Unfortunately, that never happened for me. Upon realizing this, I did not even try to refer anyone, perhaps there is an undisclosed minimum of referrals before you are placed above other members or perhaps the entire idea is a hoax meant to lure list builders to the service. There are far better places to advertise, no need to waste your effort on this one.
