For advertisers, the program offers them the opportunity to have their ads spread across the internet on popular, relevant websites. Internet advertising networks are becoming increasingly popular with businesses that have websites–and almost all of them do. Zedo is the largest independently owned online ad network in the world, which says a lot, because more of these networks are popping up online every day. The network focuses mostly on retarget advertising, which is a type of advertising that targets visitors to a website and “follows” them with ads that try to get them to return and purchase goods or services. This is also called “behavioral targeting”.

For website and blog publishers, having retarget ads put on their websites can earn them more revenue than the more standard types of advertisements. Zedo considers its website and blog publishers a crucial part of their business, and they offer them a variety of ways to earn advertising revenue. Though it’s not detailed on their website, strict requirements do need to be met in order to be a participating publisher. One of the most important things is that your website or blog needs to have an established presence on the internet and be getting a decent amount of steady traffic.

There are no set prices for advertisers. They need to contact the Zedo staff and consult about the advertising package that is needed. Retarget advertising definitely costs more than other types, but the network promises advertisers that returns on their investments will be substantial.

Feedback from the website publishers and advertisers who work with Zedo is mostly positive, at least from the people who earn money through it. Publishers can make decent earnings having the advertisements placed on their sites, and advertisers report increases in sales. There have been numerous complaints from people about the cookies they receive from the retarget advertisements, though. People say that the program installs spyware on their computers when they visit sites with participating ads, and they end up dealing with a lot of pop-up ads when they surf the internet. The network refutes these claims, but there are quite a few of them.

Good techniques followed by this site

This site uses retarget advertising in the registered websites and blogs. The idea behind their advertising is excellent and this is very helpful to the site or blog owners. The traffic generated by this site is referring traffic. They place good looking and quality ads in our site, they make some minimum income like $150 per month. Though it is a small income, it is fit for our investment. One main thing is, this site is offering free registration to enroll our sites.

They are very serious and professional

I am a publisher for Zedo since last year. At the beginning I had some problems with my computer because of the ads. I installed a good spyware package and I haven't had any problems since. I like this company because they are accepting any type of blogs. I didn’t have too many visitors and I was thinking that I wouldn’t be accepted.

I get ads on my blog and I make about 100$ a month. This is not too much money, but I am pleased. I still have a lot of work to promote my blog.

They are very serious and professional.

They are good, but check your computer

I have been working with Zedo for a while as a publisher, and first of all I can say that I like how it all works and is set up. I was personally accepted with my blog the same day which really surprised me considering their requirements. It did not take long at all to have advertiser's place their ads on my blog. The ads that were placed on one of my blogs had a very professional look to them. I am very satisfied with this portion of Zedo. I'm able to generate a little bit of income, nothing major, through them so far.

Now, my personal experience with Zedo was forcing me to run a full virus scan at night. I have to agree with the review about popups, adware and spyware being downloaded to my computer. I did not have a major problem with cookies because my security is set too high on those. But, to give the company the benefit of the doubt here, none of the adware or popups were major. Once I personally went in and changed my settings for adware and even the unwanted popups, everything was fine. If these adjustments are made, you will not have these issues.

So far, I can say I'm very pleased with the results that Zedo has brought me. I would recommend them for anyone looking to make a little extra income. However, if you chose to go with them, make sure your popup, cookies, and adware/spyware settings are set appropriately.
